I called yesterday afternoon and Denise and Charlie were here this morning. I needed a doggie door replaced that had been permanently installed on the wall side of stationary glass in an old sliding door. It required analyzing the challenge, removing the old one, resetting the permanent glass after it was moved over an inch or more then screwing and calking the entire door assembly into place so it moves and locks securely. Great name for this business!!! I would highly recommend Fast Glass. Each time I called Charlie, he responded quickly. I had a double-paned window with encased mullions. The mullions had fallen down inside the window. He explained that it could not be repaired and had to be replaced, gave me a quote and said it would take 2 weeks to make the window. About 12 days later he called to set up an appointment. Just like clockwork, he was there on time with the window, even though he had hurt his back and was obviously in pain! After a few years fighting with a sliding glass door with broken wheels that leads to our enclosed porch, we finally decided to get it fixed. It wasn't a big issue because it's usually open during the day eight months out of the year. Anyhow, on the recommendation of the Screen Shop, I called Charlie. He and Denise were available right away; they came to the house when they said they would and replaced the wheels (after leaving briefly to get the correct wheels), in less than an hour total hands on time. Don't waste your time. I am only giving 2 stars because they did come out to measure when they said they would. But after that it went downhill. I was told they would have a quote emailed to me within 2 days. I waited for 6 days and heard nothing until I finally called them. Was told "Sorry we are SO busy". Then they sent a quote that wasn't for the work I had requested. I would not trust them to do the work at that point. Look around, you can find a business that offers better customer service than that. Why give your money to a company that doesn't seem to care? read more
