After my wife and I settled on our options, John and Denise promptly provided a quote and came by that afternoon to measure for our new custom screen. A couple days later, the screen door was built and the next day they came by to install. To our pleasant surprise, the final price was lower than the initial quote! I had heard good things about this place so I decided to take in 2 window screens i needed repaired. I live 45 minutes away but drive to Santa Maria Saturday mornings to play basketball, so I dropped them off with who I think was the owners son and asked if they could repair the screens for me. With a lack of personality and customer service he gave me a price to repair and a price to replace the screens. Only $4 more to replace, I went that route vs. repairing of course. I asked him how long it'd be to have them ready and he told me they should be done no later than Wed. the next week. I told him that was fine, just to call me when they were ready. Wed came and I called to find out if they were ready but had to leave a message. I ended up having to call back again Thursday and spoke to who I believe is the owner (Woman) and told her I was following up on finding out if my screens were ready and she said she'd call me back (which means they never started them). Anyway, I receive a call Friday saying the screens were ready and she apologized for the mistake. I told her I'd be in Saturday morning to pick them up and she said thas was fine, she'd have them set aside. By this time, I had another 3 screens I needed fixed so I took them with me when I picked up the other ones since she seemed sorry for the mix up I figured I'd give it another try (Right?). Her son was there when I walked in and he could not find the screens, asking me if I knew where they were like I had a clue. After a few minutes he found them, I paid, and left the other screens there and asked him to have his mom call me when they were done. It's been almost 2 weeks since I dropped them off. I called and left a message this morning to find out where my screens are and hopefully I get a call soon. Worst customer service ever. Not even a call to say we dropped the ball again. The only reason they get 1 star is because I get to play ball and get some good food when I'm down there and it makes up for the bad taste left in my mouth from the lack of integrity and B.S. fed to me by The Screen Shop. read more
