Two things: My research indicated getting it opened should be between $75 and $150 - and there was no way he was working on my trunk. I clearly said I'm not interested and I'd like to pay him for the service call, what do I owe? His response was "what is it worth to you". I said $100, I'd like to pay you and you can leave. He kept asking "what is it worth to you"? He was not listening to what the customer wanted which was for him to leave. I told him multiple times to leave. He kept arguing! Holy 'crapatolly'. My husband intervened and escorted him to the door. P.S. - it cost me $120 including a new key to get this opened at another locksmith. Again - I want to stress my lock situation was unique - BUT - they should have admitted up front that they weren't actually prepared to deal with it.
