I went and got my Covid 19 vaccine today, When you go to get your vaccination you go in the main door closes to McCelland drive the reason I'm telling you that is there are is a Emergency entrance and a urgent care entrance and a primary care main entrance and this is a big place so I just am trying to save you a few steps, me I went in on the far end because I had no idea where to go but as soon as I got inside a nice staff worker told me I needed to go outside and down to the other end at the main entrance. I got the Pfizer it vaccinates you for COV-2, SARS and COVID 19. I got the first dose today and go back in 3 weeks for the second dose. I truly hate shots but I actually didn't even feel the needle. When I walked inside there was a staff member taking temperatures and she took mine and I told her I was there to get my Covid 19 vaccination she told be where to go with was basically directly behind her. Then I told the next staff member the same thing and she asked my name and checked her list to make sure I was on it and had me sit down to b called. I was called in less than 5 minutes and gave the receptionist all my name and then I sat back down until I was called in another room to get my shot, took only about 5 more minutes. When I was called into the next area I was asked a few questions and then sent to one of the nurses and then verified my name and birthday and given my first dose of the vaccine then you go wait in a room for 15 minutes to make sure you don't have a bad allergic reaction then you can go. I just want to say every single staff member from the lady taking the temperatures to the nurse that gave me the shot and the staff member that was watching me for the 15 minutes everyone is exactly nice and helpful. Update March 20, 2021 Today I got my second dose of the Pfizer Covid 19 vaccine and again it didn't hurt at all and so far I haven't had any side effects and knock on wood hopefully I won't.

No one likes to go to the ER, but this ER trip was really helpful for me…read more I came in at 11 at night with right upper abdominal pain. The difference with lane and other places was everyone listened to me. No one dismissed me they asked questions and treated me kindly. They did tests and helped me to lower the pain as fast as possible. They figured out what was going on and all of this with X-rays a cardio gram blood tests and more took them under 3 hours. I am truly impressed with how kind everyone from the receptionist to the ER doctor was.

I was taken into the operating room and prepped for surgery, only to be brought back to my room and told that my surgery had been bumped for another patient. That set the tone for what became a completely unacceptable experience. Waiting over one hour for assistance to the bathroom was unacceptable and left me feeling helpless and ignored. I also waited nearly two hours to receive pain medication after requesting it. Throughout my stay, staff rarely checked on me, and I often felt forgotten. My experience with Dr. Sanfiel and his physician assistant was especially disappointing. During my surgery, I was later informed that my spleen had been nicked. After surgery, I experienced severe neck pain and repeatedly reported it. Instead of addressing my concerns, Dr. Sanfiel responded, "Well, I operated on your abdomen, not your neck." I felt this response completely dismissed the significant pain I was experiencing. Given what I had been told about the complication during surgery, I believe my concerns should have been taken seriously and explained to me rather than dismissed. I did not feel that Dr. Sanfiel was honest or transparent with me about what had happened or why I was experiencing that pain. His physician assistant also completely dismissed everything I was saying, did not listen to my concerns, and made me feel as though my pain and symptoms did not matter. As a patient recovering from surgery, I expected timely, compassionate, and attentive care. Instead, I experienced poor communication, excessive delays, and a lack of concern for my well-being. It was a complete disaster from beginning to end and, without question, the worst hospital experience I have ever had. I will never return to this hospital or seek care from Dr. Sanfiel again, and I will not recommend this hospital or his practice to anyone. I sincerely hope the hospital takes these concerns seriously and makes meaningful changes so other patients are not treated the way I was.
