I cannot believe since his first review in 2011 he is still same or I should say worse. We hired him for Negotiation deal with HOA instead of just sending a letter to HOA, as he claimed to be giving us a Discounted Deal and charged us 5 times more than just sending a letter. He claimed to be an expert and get us a WIN as this was a open and shut pretty easy case of HOA negligence but we LOST and the only reason was hiring an incompetent lawyer Mr. Mike ( Just Talk No Results) so we not only lost the case which he should be counting on his second hand (as he boost about how many cases he lost - which is exactly the amount of cases he has taken) but also our money and additional stuff he made us do to help HOA without our consent sent out email. As soon as HOA responded to 1st email he backed off and did not do no negotiation so we paid 5 times price because Mike cannot negotiate. And now he wanted us to file a lawsuit and this time he changed price 80 times more than initially quoted price ( I guess that's a discount too so he can sleep) And when we pressured him to follow through with negotiation agreement not only did he had a melt down on phone and asked us not to talk to him for rest of day but did worst job of mishandling our priorities ( making us lose what more can I say). He was tough on us but meek with HOA and it reached to a point where it felt like I paid him to yell at me on phone and stop asking HOA to do their job !!! His email was not only weak but lacked any legal content or research he was supposed to do before sending the letter. Do not get carried away by the number of cases he claims he has taken or how much ever discount he offers you, HE WILL NOT BE ON YOUR SIDE - as he is a weak and incompetent lawyer. All he is good at is filing paperwork for businesses , no people skills am not even sure if he gets to deal with people or cases on regular basis. Hopefully this review will help someone to not go through same experience as I went through , it is not worth losing a strong case , money and dignity ( HE LITERALLY SCREAMS AT YOU ON THE PHONE BEFORE HE HANGS UP PHONE ON YOU) by dealing with this guy!

When I later requested the Proof of Non-Service, I again had to follow up multiple times. 06-07-2017: I contacted John about a month ago and he sent me a workbook via email. Personally, I…read moretook a very long time filling out the document, but it could be completed in 1/2 a day. I highly suggest printing out your free, online credit report and having it in hand while filling out the information. After I completed my workbook to the best of my ability, I scheduled an appointment with him. Two days later, I walked through his door and we went over the workbook together, including the parts I didn't understand. I paid him the $200 in cash, got a receipt, and he said he would call me. Seven (7) days later, about noon and on a Friday, I got the OK to come in and review the final document. I went into his office the very same day about 4:00 pm. The document was perfect, so I signed it in addition to some legal paperwork. John made another copy of the bankruptcy filing documents for me. We discussed the next steps. Monday, I went to the US Bankruptcy Court in downtown Phoenix at 8:00 am when the doors opened. I paid to park. At 8:30 am, the bankruptcy suite door opened and I was first in line. The clerk went over my document. She kept one and stamped the other in order to make it a receipt of sorts. She told me what John said I should expect her to say. She told me my court date & time in addition to the fact I should expect a letter in the mail with instructions on what more documents I need to prepare and bring back to court. I was gone by 9:00 am. It was really fast with John's prepared documents. Bring a little notebook in order to take notes if necessary. It's easiest to pull in and out of the parking lot when headed west. 07-10-2017: My Chapter 7 Bankruptcy was approved and went uncontested by creditors. During the meeting with the trustee, a woman who spoke ESL had a lawyer present. In the meeting, the trustee discovered that vital paperwork was NOT emailed to his office. This disqualifies applicants. However, the trustee blamed the lawyer since he was handling the case. I am 1/2 way intelligent, speak EFL, and followed John's instructions. I saved money by doing it this way because I did NOT need a lawyer with John's professional guidance.
