SEPTIC ISSUE - ONLY HIRE THIS COMPANY!! Heath, John, Reggie and Red ARE SIMPLY THE BEST IN THE…read moreBUSINESS! They are the MOST knowledgeable and honorable in the industry. Most of all they are fair in what they charge!! Stay away from any company that is associated with Raider or Roto Rooter along with Danny Septic Equalrooter and Bradford Septic. These people are CROOKS! They send people who know nothing or don't speak English and try to bang you for $300 for doing absolutely nothing. They empty septic tanks and lie about how much they take out and charge you the max. They don't like for you to look at the float on the truck which tells you how full the truck already is with waste and always tell you they take out the max gallons the truck holds and when you call them out they get pissed and blacklist your address. They tell you one price to repair or install new motors and when you ask for it in writing they increase it and add misc items.

Although the folks are very pleasant, I was disappointed with their service. Within the last year,…read morethey drew off fluids from the septic tank and said the drain field was collapsed and needed to be replaced. Within just a few months, the sinks and toilets were backing up again, so we called them back in after carrying water out from the sinks for several months because we couldn't afford a new drain field. When they returned, they said the lid was cracked and they wouldn't clean out the tank unless we committed to buying a new lid. We authorized them to proceed ONLY if they pumped out the solids in the tank, which they committed to do when they returned with the new lid. However, they wanted to be paid for the pumping then, which we did. The lid was supposed to take 1 week to be completed, and they would return. After 2 weeks, we called and "the concrete lid is curing... a few more days." 2 weeks later, "Our supplier didn't deliver the rebar needed for the lid, so it's not done yet." 2 weeks later, "Oh, we thought you were a different customer that we just delivered a tank lid to. We haven't started on yours yet; we'll need to come take measurements." A week later, "Your septic is too close to the pool deck. We can't do the job. Sorry." 2 months of waiting to hear them say they didn't want to do the job after all. And since they refused to pump out the tank without a new lid, I asked for a refund, since I would have to pay someone else now. They gave us back about 15% of what we paid them, and we started the process out with someone else. The other company did the work within 2 weeks, and here's the kicker: there's no problem with the drain field. It DOESN'T need to be replaced. Again, nice enough people... but not very reputable serve.

Mike is a true professional, and his work speaks for itself. From the start, he was punctual,…read morewell-prepared, and incredibly detail-oriented. He showed up fully equipped and ready to tackle two full days of labor-intensive work without missing a beat. If you're looking for more than just a handyman and want someone who truly takes pride in their work and delivers great service, Mike is your guy.

I hired this handyman to repair a closet shelving system that had pulled away from the wall which…read morewas being used for ordinary clothing storage and was not overloaded beyond normal household use. He assured me that the repair, including the anchors he installed, would support the weight of the clothing and items normally stored in the closet. Unfortunately, only about a week after the repair was completed, the entire system failed again and collapsed. The shelving and clothing ended up on the floor, creating a significant mess and forcing us to empty the closet once more. When I contacted him, he stated that the anchors he installed had held and that the real issue was that I needed an entirely new closet system. However, this was not what I was told when the repair was performed. Had I been advised from the outset that the existing system could not be safely supported or that a replacement was necessary, I would have appreciated that honesty and made a different decision. What is most disappointing is that despite the repair failing after only a week, he refused to return and evaluate the situation without charging an additional service fee. I understand that not every repair is guaranteed forever. However, when a repair fails within days and the customer relied on the handyman's representation that it would support the intended load, I believe standing behind the work and at least reassessing the situation is reasonable. Based on my experience, I cannot recommend this service. **UPDATE: With respect to Mike's response, many of the implications are categorically false, namely, that what is remaining of my closet is still usable and "hanging". The anchors screws, and brackets have bent and are misshaped. He also indicated fixed my toilet for "free" when, in fact, he actually exacerbated the issue and spent no more than a minute looking at the toilet and twisting the float and fill valve. So the contention that he was being generous with his time is unfounded. With respect to the text messages he's alluding to, admittedly, he did indicate he did not warranty his work, but also claimed "I'll also say this, I've never hung any shelving in somebody's called me back later and said that it came down". Moreover, "I can tell you that it's gonna go in with anchors at hold 220 pounds each and there's probably gonna be three or four so outside of that hopefully it lasts a long time". That said, given the estimated weight of the closet was no more than 150 pounds, that was less than 35% of its intended total weight, which should've held it without incident. Moreover, it's only been one week as opposed to two since he performed the job Finally, the mere fact that he wouldn't return to audit the job or two provide structured guidance and repair onsite as a gesture of Goodwill is woefully inadequate.
