Went in today for a quick service and I was impressed how quickly I was seen. The male receptionist was courteous and efficient. In terms of paperwork, I filled out a brief form and completed some quick information on their tablet. I observed that the receptionist made sure that all customers/patients adhered to the mask policy in a kind and respectful manner. When I went back to be seen, I was treated with respect and was in and out. In terms of appearance, I noticed that the lobby was not packed, and that the seating arrangement of the chairs were spread out. In addition to the front desk, I noticed there were bottles of hand sanitizer on tables throughout the lobby! (YES!) I went early in the morning, so I was able to find parking fairly easily, but I would like to mention that this clinic is in a shopping center with a Starbucks and other businesses. My Lord...what an awful place. Everyone else is doing testing for no out-of-pocket charge. This place? They charged me $250. Had an appointment for a Covid test for my son. Still had to wait over an hour. We ended up leaving. Asked for my payment to be refunded. Was told they cannot do that (so I will just dispute it with my credit card company). Impossibly slow administration, zero customer service, egregiously overpriced. Just awful. The best thing about this place is it is next to a Wingstop. read more

Asked if I would mind coming back for a 1:45 appointment. Confirmed appointment. Arrive a few minutes early. Pre-registered online. Guess what, there is a 2 hr wait. No heads up, no phone call before I arrive. Unacceptable. It is stressful enough. I do not recommend this location. read more

This review is not on how the people were pleasant or treated me. The front staff was great. The NP was fast and efficient. However when I asked about getting the ivermectin refilled he was abrupt and would not give reason. The ignorance is sad. Or maybe it's racism.... India has proven ivermectin works. And their suing the WHO on their part in subverting the truth in a 79 point brief.... And yet these dr.s know more than the country of India.... Where they reduced their rate of transmission by 97% in 5 days with ivermectin and doxycycline.... There are pier reviewed articles that say it is statistically significant in reducing mortality rates. And yet these Dr.'s are not up to date... Don't go here if you want real treatment... read more

First of all you're agitated before you even come through the door bc the parking lot is super small and it's a lot of businesses in this plaza compared to the size of the lot. Every time I come no matter the time of day it's always a forever wait. I had a 430 apt and I'm still waiting to have a TB test read at 510pm ! It's ridiculous! All you literally have to do is look at my arm! They don't follow Covid protocol, if your waiting room is overflowing (like this past Friday) you should probably start calling ppl from their car.. I wasn't even seen that day bc it felt risky being in here so I left, WAY TOO MANY PPL. the desk staff had no clue what's going on. they don't spray or wipe chairs or counters in between patients (thankfully I bring my can of Lysol everywhere). & they do Covid tests here so it needs to be more clean. After this series of visits (2 for TB test) I won't be back at this location. The Skeet club road location is much better and normally where I would go, they just didn't have the test I needed at their location. read more

I gave the company a little over a month to reach out after expressing my concerns. The only contact I've had is: today I received a bill for an office visit, not sure why I was billed when I was told there was nothing they could do when they didn't even look at my child. Before going to this location I would recommend you think twice and choose a different urgent care. read more

When I visited this urgent care, I was and still am very concerned with one of the practices I noticed and experienced. The Nurse aid who took my vitals walked out to call my name with her gloves on. She preceded to take my vitals with the same glove. And walked out of the exam room with said gloves. I did not confront her on that matter, I did decide not to ever use their services again. I went to settle a billing issue, and lo and behold, the same nurse aid was in the background with her gloves on. As someone who has worked in healthcare, I would not recommend the practice of walking around gloves and using said gloves to examine patients. To me, that might lead to cross contamination and bad medical hygiene. Patients needs to beware. Don't do like me, and speak up. read more

If I could give 0 stars, I would considering the time frame for a TB test/results. This location was NOT OPEN and I had to get the test read by 12:45! There was no notification given to us as to them not being open and why they were not open. I was there waiting from 8am until about 10 just to get my TB results read . That's where the 0 star rating comes into play for me. No notice on the door, no one picking the phone up, no nothing y'all! I will say the staff gave me EXCELLENT service the day I went to get MY TB SHOT (few days before this). Ended up having to get my TB test read by another FastMed. I understand things happen but to not give a heads up on this FastMed not being open is foul! read more

This urgent care is the most unprofessional place I have ever experienxed. I went there with my sick wife and they tuned us away because my wifes id had expired.. Come to find out my wife had congestive heart failure and this urgent care turned us away.. I had to go down the road to the urgent care near honey baked ham where they promptly diagnosed my wife and sent us to the emergency room. If i could give a negative rating I would rate them -5 because the need to have better customer service skills and need to have a policy in place to help people no matter if they have insurance or not. read more

My fiancé made an appointment for 8:45am on 5/6/23. She checked in early, and we arrived at 8:30am. We were ignored initially as the two receptionists were having a conversation with each other. My fiancé filled out the remaining forms needed to, and told it would be just a few minutes before she was seen. At 10:00am, she still has not been seen, and during the time we between we got there and 10:00, no one had been seen. After talking with one of the receptionist a, we were informed that they don't do appointments. That the appointments are to ensure that they are just seen during the day. I acknowledged that that should be mentioned, and I was told it was when you schedule an "appointment". I then went and scheduled an appointment myself to see where that was mentioned, and not to my surprise, it was not mentioned anywhere; not in my immediate confirmation, or my emailed confirmation. We will not be coming back here, nor would we ever recommend this location to anyone. Just an overall terrible experience. read more

I made an appointment at this facility for a COVID-19 test on December 4, 2021. A few weeks later I received a bill for $300.00. I called irate and the representative claims that there was an error and they needed to refile the claim. Today I received a statement from Cigna (my insurance company) and I called to follow up. Although I had a scheduled appointment for a COVID-19 test, FastMed never mentioned this in the claim they filed. Why? Because COVID-19 test are free and they wanted to charge insane fees. They mentioned congestion and other symptoms and stated they treated me for those but never mentioned that I had a COVID-19 test prescheduled. Zero mention of a COVID-19 test in the claim that was filed. I informed my insurance company that this was unethical and immoral. I can promise I will not pay them a dollar and fight this unethical and misleading practice. Are they really this desperate to lie, cheat and steal to try and get a few dollars? Avoid this location at all cost! It's a shakedown!!! read more

Went in with a tooth ache, prescribed antibiotics but apparently not enough, called two days later and asked for a higher dose, was told someone would call me back, 2 hours later I went to the Fastmed and was met with sarcasm and no caring, was told if I wanted to get my prescription fixed would have to pay for another visit, explained to them I have been up for days and was in pain, Courtney Roberts was mean, sarcastic and totally unhelpful. When I asked for the manger, was literally pointed to a card, when asked if the manger worked their, was told sometimes, as I was leaving Courtney made a sarcastic, have a nice day - to which I told her to fu and she replied you fuck off too. read more

Took a relative to this place because she felt bad. They did a COVID test which was positive. The staff including the provider was very rude to her after the positive test. My relative was having some respiratory distress but the provider told her she did not have pneumonia. No chest X-ray. Go home and isolate was the providers direction. I took her to the hospital 36 hours later and sure enough she had pneumonia. I think my relative would have gotten much much sicker or even worse if we had followed this providers advice. There are other urgent care centers around town. DO NOT go to this one or you may get much sicker than you can imagine. read more

However, I don't enjoy filling out paperwork every time I come in-even if I was just there the week before. Worst urgent care ever. I've had three dealings with them. First time, when it first opened, I was very dizzy and when I walked in it was 10 minutes to closing. Having worked retail I understand how that can be frustrating. However open times are open times and I lived very close and had a small baby at the time so sitting all night in an er when they could help me quickly (there was no one else there) wasn't feasible. Boy, did they make sure I know I was inconveniencing them! I get seen and since I have a history of a heart defect (repaired) the doctor wanted to do an ekg. When the doctor started hooking me up to machine she jumped when she opened my shirt because I wasn't wearing a bra. I was worried about my health, not my bra when I left home. She made a comment about how shocking that was and laughed. Very unprofessional and I no longer felt comfortable in her presence. Then, once she realized my heart was fine she sent me home (doing no other tests or asking no other questions) saying it was probably vertigo (spoiler alert: it wasn't). Second time (around 2016) I went because I had a cough and couldn't catch my breath. Got hooked up to ekg again and was sent to er for something that was "probably fine but because of your history...". I get it. History of heart problem spooks everyone. So I went to er. No issues with my heart whatsoever. The doctors even commented on the ekg reports saying that the doctor from this practice could've just held me another 30 minutes to repeat the test because whatever it was they saw happens sometimes and it's usually nothing. I wanted to send them my emergency room bill. Third time (today): I call to check wait times, adding that I understand they can change minute to minute but I wanted a general idea (no wait or hour+?) and am simply told they don't offer wait times. I decide to nix them for good and call the doctors express down the road where they not only gave me a wait time but they set an actual appointment. I'll never use this poor excuse for a healthcare clinic again. An issue with every experience, across many years. Nope. Drive the extra few minutes down the road for doctors express. Also, look at the review difference between the two places. read more

This place was wonderful! I cut my foot in 2 places and partially severed a tendon. The staff was so wonderful. They made a horrible situation as pleasant as possible. Even called the orthopedic of my choice and had an appointment scheduled the next morning. They went over and beyond to make sure I was taken care of and as comfortable as possible. This place is the worst urgent care you can go to. I've been one time myself and a second time with my husband. The first time I went the front desk was rude and seemed to have an attitude. The doctor was fine. When I went with my husband we ended up walking out due to the front desk and her attitude. She didn't understand his insurance. He even called the insurance company and she kept telling us that WE were wrong and that we didn't understand our insurance. That's when we walked out. read more

After filling out paperwork for 20 mins & them on the phone figuring out what to do, I was told I would have to pay $200 in cash due to their computer system being down. I have a $40 urgent care copay. I said absolutely not & told them I would seek another facility. I drove 1.8 miles to Doctor's Express & paid my $10 PCP visit copay at an urgent care facility. I've used this facility a couple of times due just relocating here and not being established at a primary physician yet. Today my 10 year needed to be seen for what turned out to be strep - and BRIDGET was the most callous, sarcastic, borderline verbally abusive nurse/MA/PA I've ever encountered. There's no place in the medical field for people who lack compassion, especially for children. He needed a throat swab, he resisted the swab (as most children do initially) and she slammed the swab down, sternly said "that was your only chance, now the big scary doctor has to come and do it and he's not going to be nice about it!" She then walked out and slammed the door. My child sat and cried until the doctor came in and got the swab done. He wasn't overly compassionate either, but he wasn't hateful and flat out RUDE either. She needs to be reprimanded. And fired. Immediately. Before she terrifies any other children. Shame on her. read more

I went to FastMed Urgent Care with flu-like symptoms. I was worried that I had the flu because I had spent time with someone who was recently diagnosed. The front desk personnel and the nurse who saw me were very friendly, however the Dr. seemed very rushed and bothered that I was there at all. I mentioned my symptoms and he said he would test me for the flu as he was walking out of the exam room. He did not give me any time to ask questions. The worst part of my visit, however occurred as I was waiting for the nurse to come in with the test. The Dr. was outside my door and I could hear him discussing my case with interns or nurses. His words were "Is she really sick, or is she trying to trick us?" I do not know why he thought I would trick him. I thought I had the flu and did not ask for pain medicine or a note to get out of work/school. I could also hear him discussing other patients including one who wanted a pregnancy test. This very much soured my view of this urgent care. I would recommend that the Dr. practice listening to his patients and speaking in a quieter voice if he wants to insult them to other staff members. read more
