The sauce is lite, not heavy; middle of the road: not too tart or sweet. The crust was wonderful! I took from the middle of the giant pie, and- prepared for a doughy, uncooked crust - I was so very wrong. My guess? I did not notice till I was in the car headed home when my Wife pointed out the pizza is not even warm!!! Slow. Slow is the best description of Fat Cats. When I say slow, I mean painfully slow. I hate doing this because their pizza is so good!! I have never been able to pick up a carry-out order faster than 1 hour, even though I'm told 45 minutes. Delivery is almost always 1.5-3 hours... Management was disrespectful. They should never argue or get snoody with a customer. Maybe she was just having a bad day but that wasn't my fault. My issue started at the drive thru which was a cluster of a mess. Maybe some signs with arrows or paint on the ground directing people where to go? So I walk inside to get my food. The person at the register didn't want to get my food but did it anyway and then the manager came over and wasn't happy and saying that this won't happen again and I'd be the reason this place got shut down for not following the rules. There was barely any people in the restaurant but still took 45 minutes for them to even put the pizza in the oven. They weren't slammed at all it was just the chefs being lazy and working slowly because of the small amount of people. This place is awesome all the way! Meatball subs with a sweet italian sauce and the homemade meatballs that melt in your mouth as the cheese strings behind. The pizza is so very good; the crust is just the right thinness so that you can enjoy the fresh toppings and no need to ask for extra cheese, that is always taken care of the first time! The employees are very professional, nice and willing to assist you. I have never had a problem at this establishment and will continue to reorder. Went to fat cats on a Sunday evening wih my wife and mother. I split a BBQ chicken pizza with my mom and my wife had the Stromboli. The pizza was pretty good. The sauce was sweet and the chicken was cooked well. I had jalapeños on half and it was good n spicy! My wife's Stromboli however was just okay as it was filled with mostly peppers a little pepperoni and cheese. From the outside it looked like a pizza with toppings in the middle and wasn't very tasty. I was looking forward to an evening of fun and food with friends when I was told they couldn't handle a party of 12. We went on a night that did have parties in both party rooms. However, the main dining room was fairly empty. A very young teen assumed I was with a party when I came in. He spoke rudely to me and I told him I wasn't there for a party, I was having dinner with friends. I told him there were 12 of us. He told me they didn't have room and couldn't handle a party of 12. There were many open tables in the dining room and I asked if we could just push them together. He said no. He then asked another server if they could seat a party of 12. She looked at me, laughed rudely and said we can't serve 12 people. The young man said, "guess you'll have to go somewhere else". I worked in restaurants through high school and college. I loved large parties because the tips were great. We weren't asking for any special treatment or attention. Just a group of middle aged ladies wanting to have dinner together. I counted 5 servers on the floor and saw several people in the kitchen so I knew they weren't short staffed. Even if they truly couldn't have accommodated us, they could've simply apologized and explained why, not said go somewhere else. It took us seven years to discover this place. A great variety of food. Love the happy hour prices on beer and appetizers. The only drawback I have is the entertainment. I grew up in Lancaster and Fat Cats was always the most delicious pizza. After I moved, when I would come home to visit, it was always a MUST to get Fat Cats. The pizza used to have a lot of cheese, and was filling, but the pizza now is not so great. I have tried it twice (thinking the first time was a fluke), and even ordered extra cheese, and they are very skimpy with the toppings. The crust reminds me of pizza huts, and just doesn't taste the same. It's very dissapointing, I wish they would have kept the same recipe, but they haven't. If I could give a negative star I would. This place has no customer service! After multiple attempts at calling and no one answering I was finally able to order a party pizza from the Sheridan drive location at the beginning of September. They did not have the party size box so the person on the phone said they would break it down into 4 pizzas, which was fine. We asked for 2 pepperoni and 2 with pepperoni and sausage. Once they finally arrived they all were completely inedible. The crust tasted extremely old and was soaked from the grease. I attempted to call to complain and again no answer so I called the location on Ety rd. They explained that I needed to call and submit my complaint to the location I ordered from and they told me to speak with tequila. I was finally able to contact tequila and explained my complaint. I expressed that I was not interested in receiving replacements from the Sheridan drive location and she stated that she worked at the other location in the morning and would put my credit in there. I paid roughly $43 for this and when I jut went to order using the credit I was supposed to have I was told it was not in the computer. The woman I was speaking with then called tequila who stated she only offered me a credit for an extra large pizza. After stating that it was a false statement I was told that she would give me the credit for the party pizza but that after this I should get my pizza else where. Seriously?! **FAT CAT PARTY ROOM IS A SCAM ** Our family tried too have my nieces 1st Birthday party @ Fat Cat. We ordered the "party room" and had approximately 30 to 40 people! When ordering the room, nobody told us that there were any restrictions on the party! Once we got the room set up on party day and got all of the guest there, Fat Cat's would not allow us to purchase their famous "Party Pizza"! They stated that it would be a LIABILITY! They only allowed us 1 pitcher of pop, the rest had too be purchased! Pitchers of pop were $5 each! They charged a $50 deposit, which is too come off the balance @ end of night! I inquired as too how the "party pizza" w/be a liability. I was told that they are sooo big that it would be a liability, if someone was burnt!! Didn't make sense, so I inquired further! BTW..I had just purchased a party pizza from them a month ago and they tipped it sideways too get it into my vehicle! They were not worried about the liability of my being burnt @ that time, just with the money!!! I explained that we had use of the entire party room and could potentially put the pizza's on floor, we could put 4 tables together, or put 2 tables together, all of these ideas were rejected!! I then suggested that I would but it @ another location and bring it too the party room, that too was not allowed per FAT CAT! I then suggested that we go to grocery store and purchase finger foods, that too was not allowed per FAT CAT!! I explained that I thought this was a scam because when we made reservations for the party room, @ no time were we informed that we could not buy the party pizza!! I was informed that @ no time can you purchase a party pizza @ FAT CAT and eat it there!!! Due to again the liability!!! HA ! LOL! I had expained that all of my previous suggestions would remove the liability from them and they would not hear of it ! After talking to the manager regarding this, a common employee, with a huge gap between her teeth, decided too emerge from the kitchen and " invite me too come outside"! I told her that whatever she had too say could be said in front of everyone! She explained further that we could not have party pizza and gave the LAME excuse of LIABILITY again! She also informed us that we could take our party somewhere else and she would NOT be giving the deposit back. This is all happened within an hour of being @ the party! She then invited me outside yet again! So @ this time, I informed this girl that we can go outside but w/not be doing much talking when we got there! Then she threatened cops!! WOW , after she approached me to go outside!! My sister in laws father had spoken with the manager asked her for the owners #, and don't you know they gave him the number for the same place that we were standing in! Rather than deal with this LUDACRIS place any longer, we called DONATO"S on Fair ! They had 2 parties going on @ that time and both of there party rooms were full. After explaining our situation, they said that they could still accomodate us! The patio was ours and they also extended the back half of the inside too us also. They have NO CHARGE for the party rooms! The pitchers of pop were only $1.98 VS the five dollars that the other place charged!! We ordered 9 pizzas (large) @ Donato's and our bill was still cheaper by $50 than it was going to be @ Fat Cat for only 5 pizzas!! THANK YOU DONATO'S !! **FAT CAT YOU SUCK** You are a LOCAL business that after being in Lancaster long enough and have obviously made enough money off of your LOCAL customers that you were able too move too a brand new building! This is the Thank You that you give too your local customers, running a scam for the party room!!! I am willing too pay the $40 it cost to take them too small claims, ( on principal alone) just to get the $50 deposit back!!
