I visited this small establishment for the first time with my girlfriend. We were greeted by a young, laid-back white male who took our order. My girlfriend ordered a BBQ chicken pizza, and I ordered a build-your-own with three toppings. My girlfriend is dangerously allergic to onions and we made it very clear that the pizza must have no onions. Despite this, when the food came out, her pizza had onions on it. I addressed it immediately with the cashier, who looked concerned and acknowledged the mistake. He went to the back to speak with a female manager, but came back and told us there was nothing they could do. No apology. No explanation. No offer to remake the pizza. Just, "there's nothing we can do." I guess that's what you get when you order cheap pizza -- but risking someone's health and brushing it off like that is completely unacceptable. I'm kind of a pizza snob and I just moved to Grove City last week, so naturally I'm checking out all the pizza places. I tried Zanzis tonight and I was quite impressed. There must be a whole package of pepperoni on this. For under $10 including a tip, that's a steal. Having lived in St Louis for 8 years, I'm also excited to try their St Louis style crust. Tried this based off a recommendation from a friend who is a fan of their Circleville location. I don't think I could recommend this pizza. The toppings tastes cheesy on top (just did a pepperoni and cheese pizza), but the crust was very spongy-not in a deep dish pizza kind of way, but just a tad bit above squishy in texture and taste. It made eating the pizza very off-putting. They also cut the pizza in strips, like a box of bread sticks, which I'm not sure why, but that was also very odd. I also got their Zanzi cheese sticks, which were cheesy, and that's about it. I would recommend you try any other Grove City pizza spot over Zanzis' Pizza. read more

Well, he's done it. My husband actually persuaded me to forget the scarring of previous Zanzi's experience from having lived near Circleville and it being the cheapest pizza in town, which meant... I was tortur... I mean... provided with this mediocre of a pizza growing up, because it was a frugal means to provide a weekly pizza night.... according to my parents. Having the flashbacks of spongey, heavily breaded, saw dust-like crust with cheap sauce and cheese that made you feel instantly sick upon eating it-- I wrote this chain off for YEARS... I threw it in the back of my head as a bad memory and NEVER AGAIN, would I ever contemplate eating a Zanzi's pizza in my life. However - flash forward to 20 years later... and a 5 minute order through the Grove City location. The stoner kids cackling and talking about pokemon and gaming in the back of the kitchen while the phone rings with a plethora of orders pouring in. We kept it pretty straight and boring with a pep and cheese pizza. Conclusion? Better than Little Caesars $5 slam, but no life changer. No awful anxiety inducing pizza flashbacks. The nice part too is that they've expanded their menu in the past 20 years, so you can pretty much get anything that all the other chain joints are offering. A nice frugal pizza alternative and a reminder to myself that I'm getting older and much like my parents. read more

So this is known for inexpensive pizza and a good option if you have a large family or a party for kids etc. However, we used them for work to celebrate national pizza day and they gave our order to another customer! How do you do that? I ended up driving back and forth from my job to Zanzis twice and eventually brought back pizzas for our 2nd shift, however it was an order that belonged to someone else and it did not have the pizzas that our employees wanted. There was no offer to give us a discount or free pizza next time, nothing! I know people make mistakes but how do you give a large order of 23 pizzas under a company name to someone else? I think I am even more upset about the lack of offer of some sort of discount to our company for their huge mistake. First and last time customer. Terrible! I ordered the Zesty Premium which is supposed to have extra cheese and extra pepperoni. It actually looked like less toppings than a normal pizza. There were very few pieces of pepperoni and there were entire sections of the pizza missing cheese. To make matters worse, the pizza looked like it was sliced by a kindergartner. Some pieces were about 2 inches wide while others were less than 1/4 of an inch. At least I'm only out 7 bucks, no wonder it was so cheap. I guess you pay for what you get! read more

Great deal on average pizza I was in Grove-tucky I'm sorry, Grove City around lunch time and passed by a very bright orange sign for a pizza place. I'm a sucker for a non-chain so decided to stop in for some lunch. I saw on the window they had a 9" pizza with 2 toppings and a large drink for $2.99. I thought this was an awesome deal so decided on this. There was no line or anything so I was helped immediately. To my dismay they did not have pineapple as a topping so I chose pepperoni and sausage. I was impressed that they made this deal to order. Only took 5 minutes and was piping hot. I don't LIKE to give negative reviews unless I feel they are really deserved. It seems like I've had Zanzis b4 when a relative picked it up while I was there for the evening, but I don't recall anything about it. Today I picked up 2 pies: 1 of my choosing (dbl cheese & beef) & one my GF decided on (I'm not sure what was on it). Hers was decent. Mine was bland at best. My "dbl cheese" was more of a "nonexistent".... I'd hate to see a normal offering of cheese, although hers was okay/so so. If you're hard up for a CHEAP pie & flavor isn't a priority I guess this is the place in Grove City. I expect to go back hoping this was a fluke. read more

This is one of our favorite pizza places. Not only are their prices incredibly low, but their Pizza is also really good. They have one of the only buffalo chicken pizza is that we've been able to find in our area. We recently decided to try to of their toasted sub sandwiches. They are only $2.99 a piece and we're well worth the price. They were toasted perfectly, had an adequate amount of meat on them, and we're not overloaded with too much bread. I ordered a personal pizza with pepperoni and mushrooms for $3.50 and it wasn't bad, but they don't put enough sauce or toppings on it. I would order it again but with extra sauce. I ordered the Italian sub for 2.99. Too much bun, not hardly any meat or lettuce or cheese. They load it with banana peppers and that should be the name of the sub. Moved to the Grove City area and seen the commercial for the pizza, thought I would give it a try the first time my 9 year old said it was terrible. I didn't actually try it the first time. I like non-chains! Zanzis has great prices and lots of variety (salads, subs, hoagies, pizza). Mostly everything is made to order, a definite bonus. Also can pick up 'to-go' pizzas (which I'm not a parent yet, so pretty much n/a to me!) I'll go once every six-ish weeks :) read more
