    Halloumi
    Anushka S.

Wanted to get a quick meal in Prague and saw that this place was pretty popular among tourists and locals. There is plenty of indoor seating and some outdoor seating as well. Service was nice and helpful with all of our requests. Ordered the Grilled Halloumi which was really good and tasty. The flavors were all there and the arugula helped balance out the richness of the cheese. The portion was really big for just one person, so I would recommend sharing items if you're not that hungry. I also ordered the onion rings which I wasn't a huge fan of. They tasted like onion rings you can get anywhere, but more batter focused. The prices of everything were proportional to the amount of food you get. Overall, if you're in the area and looking for a quick meal I would recommend trying out Fat Cat.

Fries and onion rings with a flight

A fun, comfortable space with good service. The fries were good as was the beer flight. It's a lot so I shared it with another person. I enjoyed the dark beers and the cherry one. That was a surprise as I don't normally like fruit flavored beers. The onion rings were not quite as crispy as I hoped and tasted a bit on the old side. However, we ate around 11pm and my friend liked them. They close around 11:30pm and they were quick to ask you to leave, albeit in a nice way. It's attached to a hotel and we stayed there so it was super convenient! Would definitely go back for drinks.

    The sign drew us in

The boys had to check this place out after we all laughed at the sign. They wanted to stay for a beer but we needed to keep moving. So my husband settled with a tee and a light promise we could stop back by on the way back to our hotel. We did make it back the place was packed. Service overall was slow from ordering to getting drinks, all the way to getting the bill. The food was good but more expensive than other places. Maybe you're paying for the vibe because it is a place to chill and listen to good music. We ordered the cat club, loaded fries, a salad, 2 beers, and 2 wines. Our bill was over $48 US. I wouldn't recommend the loaded fries, stay with the regular. The cheese is not real, more of the liquid type such as nacho cheese. The sign outside is in English will draw us in. It worked!

Beer flight. The sour was different. Liked it and cherry beer also good

Stopped in to get out of the rain. Food looked good but we only got drinks. Beer was interesting. We did a flight and it was a lot. The white wine was not to my liking. Wouldn't get any again. Had a very cool server. He was funny and engaging. He had us taste a hot sauce they sell and we bought some. It was good. Would go again thanks to our great server!!

Food was good, service very efficient, and ambiance was nice. Staff were very friendly. All-in-all, everything was great. Prices very reasonable.

My wife and I visited Fat Cat Beer and Burger Bar while we were in Prague, and our server Ali made the entire experience unforgettable. From the moment we sat down, he was welcoming, kind, and genuinely interested in us as visitors. He asked where we were from and what brought us to Prague, and the conversation felt completely sincere. It was refreshing and really meaningful. Our food came out quickly and exactly as we ordered it, and it was excellent. But what truly stood out was Ali himself. He was one of the most thoughtful and friendly people we met during our entire trip. He made us feel at home right there in the restaurant. The management should be very proud to have someone like Ali on their team. He represents the best kind of hospitality. Because of him, Fat Cat became one of our favorite memories from Prague. We will definitely be back the next time we visit the city. Highly recommend.

Wonderful place! We had the best service and the most friendly people. Mary our server was awesome! The food was great. All around one of the best experiences we had in Prague

This was a fun place to get a bite for lunch and a beer. Great people watching spot. There was a bachelor party of some sort happening and our group was approached to write on the groom-to-be's body with permanent marker. It was pretty amusing. Food here was good and service was friendly and attentive. Our group of 6 enjoyed this spot.

This was a great place to have a nice meal after our walking tour. The burger was pretty big and we split it. The fries were delicious. I also enjoyed the cherry beer as well. The service is friendly. Mady was our server. Very clean and enough room for a group as well. I would eat here again.

We ordered the beer sampler, the fat cat burger, the truffle burger and the fat cat flat bread. The beer sampler was terrible. We have had some really great beer while in Prague, not sure how they managed to gather the worst beer into one restaurant. The burgers are almost raw, so order them well if you want to be able to eat it. The best thing we ordered were the bacon fries. The normal fries have a weird taste to them. The Cuba libre was great.

It's all about the beer here. Fat cat had outdoor tables as well as a core beer garden/atrium style set up inside which looked great for group seating. The Food was pub grub; hotdogs, huge burgers, Ribs, Fries, Salads with Protein which was good on a hot day. The food is just A-OK. Servers were nice and always checking on beer refills on time, just as a Glass was empty. My hubby really enjoyed their IPAs we were surprised they had several varieties in the land of Pilsner. My favorite, which I had to come back by twice as it was so good, was the seasonal Cherry Beer, very well done, I was impressed! Def a great lunch stop while walking about Prague.

There is plenty of seating and all the pastries are displayed beautifully. The waitress allowed me to sit outside and provided me with some menus. The dinner menu had plenty of drink options and a couple food options. I decided to opt for a cold brew coffee and the burrata with a roasted bell pepper and nut spread. The food came out after about 7 minutes. The bread looked beautiful while maintaining a soft inside and crisp outside. The spread with burrata was also a pleasant sight with glowing piece of cheese contrasted by autumn colors including the pomegranate, balsamic caviar, and pepper spread. The food tasted delicious with the creamy burrata contrasted by the sweet and smoky pepper spread. Such a pleasant cafe located in Prague 7. At the time of writing this, there was some construction being done outside so seating inside may be your best bet. Nonetheless, the atmosphere and food was incredible here which fostered one of the better experiences I've had at a cafe in Prague.

That said, we had a gorgeous yet really disappointing pancake order here that just wasn't acceptable at all. The pancakes were thick, premade and tasted more like crumpets topped with fruit than pancakes, but what was inexcusable was that the pancakes themselves came out cold and hard. How does that even happen? On the other side of things, the expresso drinks were adequate, the egg dishes were enjoyable, the orange juice was fresh squeezed and the brown bread and butter that comes out (complementary) with breakfast is wonderful. If you do opt to come here, head to egg dishes, their bread and expresso, and away from their not good pancakes.) (Wish they would discontinue or replace the pancakes here. These hard, heavy, cold pancakes bring their morning meal average down a level, considering the other dishes here are a-okay.)

The halloumi and avocado as well as the hummus were layered in the stack so every bite had something in it. The karak latte was also very good with a smooth flavour.
