Karla's sells a tasty fusion of Mexican and other central American street food. It's in the parking lot of a bodega and stays open until about 1am. You go up to the truck, order, and wait about 15 minutes for your yummy. Side note, the food is great to soak up Flor de Cana :) My friend enjoyed her order of pupusas, while I also liked my Al Pastor tacos. My order consisted of three tacos on a corn tortilla, with the greens packed separately, and filled with well seasoned meat. I'm only taking off one star because I didn't taste pineapple pieces. Otherwise it was late night gourmet perfection! The employees were also really pleasant. Though we took our order to go, there's also a couple of tables outside to eat there.

Inside, I saw a young woman on her phone, talking with one hand while scratching her head with the other, and then grabbing aluminum foil--presumably to handle food. I finally got the exchange to visit their location the other day and it's been amazing to see their growth over the years! The space is very cute, they have plenty of indoor seating and also have a nice area in the back for people to enjoy. The chef still cooks each meal to order out of the food trailer/truck in the back. The owners are so kind and always make me feel welcome when I visit. The food is always incredibly fresh and delicious. Sometimes there is a bit of a wait, but I never mind because I don't really consider the food they serve to be fast food. I always have a great experience when visiting to TRC and everything I have tried from their menu has been delicious!
