When I arrived, the store was overcrowded and chaotic. I returned later, but still couldn't get my order. Staff couldn't give a clear timeframe, and many customers were complaining about 2+ hour waits. After waiting nearly 2 hours of confusion, I left without my food. I called several times and no answer. The next day, I visited the store, and while the cashier was very kind and professional, the manager refused to fulfill my order and only offered a refund, which I was told would take 3-5 business days. Though the cashier followed up and confirmed the refund was processed, I am still dissatisfied. No apology, no attempt to honor the promotion ( or at least fill the order for the food I paid for), just poor planning and leadership. This is their 2nd year doing this and it is still an unorganized hot mess because of management.

My son selected the lemon pepper wings, French fries and a soda. My Husband selected the Mango Habanero and Lemon Pepper wings along with fries and a soda. The prices here are reasonable and the employees are nice. They also have a bench here to sit at when you're waiting on your wings along with a television to watch. Many different flavored wings to select, but just to name a few, they have lemon pepper which taste just like the name, Cajun, Atomic and Mango Habanera, if you like hot and Hawaiian if you want sweet and tangy. Many people were selecting the lemon pepper which is extremely popular and I know when I used to eat chicken, it was a delicious lemony and tangy flavor. My husband and son got the bone-in wings which my son usually get the boneless, but tonight he chose the bone in. The fries here I did try with ranch dressing. I only ate about two. They were really delicious in my opinion as well. I know I will be back to pick up wings for my family.

Our server was attentive; he provided additional ranch, made suggestions, and passed by the table frequently to make sure our experience was positive. My go-to every time I visit Sports Grill is pretty simple: an order of fries, some special grilled wings, and plenty of celery and ranch. This, accompanied by a Yuengling or two, and you've got a fantastic meal while enjoying the game. The special grilled wings have this underlying spice and charred flavor that's unlike any other wing. They had that crunch on the outside, and the chicken was tender but moist with every bite. My only issue is that the name implies it's grilled and the name could be a bit misleading. A lot of people prefer food be grilled and not fried. While the wing is still enjoyable, the server explained to me that they fry the wings first and then grill them. For the health conscious, this may be a bit of an issue. The fries were fresh and crisp on the outside and soft on the inside. The ambience is welcoming for your typical family, sports fans, or anyone looking to grab a drink. Obviously, it's a sports bar, so don't expect it to be quiet in here, especially now that football season is right around the corner. That said, with a plethora of plasma televisions, sports decor, a well-stocked bar, and a decent menu, you're sure to enjoy your visit.

Sports Grill is a nice little neighborhood sports bar in the Royal Oaks shopping plaza of Miami Lakes, and a few doors down from Orange Theory that I go to. We ended up here last night when the Dolphins were playing the Bills for Thursday night football. I got there early enough that I had my choice of seats, and like the fact that they have TVs literally all along the walls and some hung from the ceiling to give everybody a nice view angle. Unlike the sports bar on the beach this last Sunday, Sports Grill definitely had a pro Miami vibe to it with one of the managers, walking around and cheerleading the crowd in "Let's Go Dolphins". Unfortunately, it was again 18-11 with the refs calling every questionable penalty against the Phins including a silly one overprotecting the punter (and we lost). There's definitely a fun Only in Hialeah vibe to this sports grill with the crowd at one table playing dominos, and "La Vaca" and other salsa & merengue classics played in the sound system. Speaking of cows, I enjoyed their delicious double smash cheeseburger on a fluffy bun with fresh lettuce and tomatoes. It came with an order of regular fries; we also ordered a basket of sweet potato fries to munch on along the game. My mojito was well blended and even a little sweet, while she enjoyed her Pinot Grigio. We also ordered a lemon drop shot, ostensibly to celebrate but alas...
