I was in a jam with my truck on New Years Eve. I needed to get a VIN inspection done on it in order to get a title, registration, and insurance. Since I couldn't drive it to Castle Rock CSP location and that was the only day CSP could see me 12/31/13. I contacted Ryan, Sr. to see if he could do a turn around tow for me about 100 miles round trip. He took my information and gave me a call back with a great quote... $300.00 total. This included Ryan, Sr. picking up my truck, towing it to CSP location, unloading it, waiting an hour & half for the inspection, reloading it, towing my truck back to my home. Most of the competition was at $70 x 4 ($280.00) for hooking it up both time up plus $4.00 per mile. You do the math. Ryan, Sr and Ryan III (it was nice seeing the trade being passed down to the grandson) came out and picked up the truck which took about 5 min. I could tell they were true professionals. He knew exactly where to go in Castle Rock and I followed. We caught a break with CSP which did the inspection quickly & efficiently. We were back heading home in no time. Since the job took less time Ryan, Sr. gave me a $50.00 credit. So it only cost me $250.00! I was surprised and grateful since my truck isn't worth a lot. Yes.. I thought my luck was going to carry me through this night on the town again.. but not tonight.. I was towed for parking in a empty parking lot outside a closed autozone.. I searched for a spot elsewhere but the show at the Gothic had already started and I needed to get in there.. SO after the show, my car was gone right.. so I called the Father of Father and Son Towing and sure as shit they answered and said are you the guy with the VW? hahahaa.. maybe it was the drinks, dancing and the perfect performance of the band, but I was in a great mood considering my car was gone and it was 20 degrees outside. I wanted to make a deal tonight, not wait out the holiday weekend to get my car back.. Father actually came and picked me up and took me to where my car was towed to.. (who does that?) And I am not talking about my father, the father of this business.. And after shelling out $260 (that included a free ride to my car) I was back on the road drinking and driving in no time. This would have totally been a 5 star situation if it wasn't for being bent over and shelling out 260. One of the employees/owner followed my car and blocked me in a parking spot. He got out of his truck and claimed I had tried to run a group of geese over. (The geese had finished crossing the road and I drove past slowly in case any more decided to start crossing) He threatened to turn me into the authorities if he ever saw me do it again. My wife and I both felt threatened by a group of men blocking our car into a parking spot and one of them angrily approaching our window. While I have never used this company's services, I would never consider using them now based on one of their employees threatening me. read more

I was driving back from an auto shop and apparently they screwed up my starter kill on my truck so of course it died right in traffic on Wadsworth and would not restart. I saw a tow truck pull up behind me and I thought OK this is cool, good timing. The guy told me his name was Ryan with father and son towing. My lucky day. Ryan is the nicest guy you could ever meet. A friend was driving our car on Thanksgiving night from Colorado Springs back to Denver. Our clutch went out a little north of COS in the middle of nowhere well after dark. Our insurance company used a horrid third party for roadside assistance, but that's another story. Luckily they landed us with Father & Son Towing. These guys responded quickly to the request, called me immediately to let me know they were on their way and who to expect, and when I explained my friend was by herself in the cold and the dark on the side of the road they immediately called her as well to give her an update. They were not only friendly and professional, but also very caring. They called my friend again when they were close so she wasn't creeped out when the truck pulled up beside her on the highway. By the way, we were having the car towed to Denver which they were ok with (about an hour's drive from where she was, and it was on Thanksgiving night). ON TOP OF THAT they gave her a ride from our mechanic's place back to our place, which was in the opposite direction for them. I fully expected her to have to rideshare back but they cheerfully gave her a ride for free since it was almost midnight on a holiday. This family obviously takes incredible pride in their work and for good reason. They will absolutely be my go-to for any towing needs and I would encourage everyone to patronize such great people. read more

My truck had the unfortunate issue of blowing an upper radiator hose on I-25 on the way to work. I was able to get the truck off the Interstate and into a private lot. My go-to mechanic (who is also 5-star awesome) suggested I use Father & Sons. He has been using them for years. Needless to say, I left my truck, location, and plate number with them and took off to work. They got there shortly and took care of my truck with no problem. Our work van broke down just off I25, called two other companies and was told it would be about 3 hours. When your broken down off the highway, not a place you want to wait around at. I messed my car up and couldn't drive it anywhere. It was stranded at I25 and Lincoln and after a week I desperately needed it towed to a mechanic. Exceptional service from Father and Son towing. Quoted my boyfriend a very reasonable price, only to call him back a few minutes later to offer him an even better deal. After giving them the address, they showed up early, waiting patiently at the tow site, maneuvered the tow truck into a very difficult back corner lot, took the time to jump my boyfriend's truck to get it into neutral, retrieving jumper cables and other tools to get it started (battery was in really rough shape). He then followed us to our destination, having to again maneuver the tow truck and my boyfriend's truck into a really difficult spot. Great service! I called at 9:23 PM and even with my poor description of where I was he knew exactly where we had broken down. He was out there in about 20 minutes, very courteous and professional. He explained how he was going to get our car to the dealership for us to follow him. VERY reasonable rates, I know I would have paid at least $60 more had I called someone else.
