I highly recommend that you never ever bring your vehicle to these absolute crooks. I had some minor front end damage on my brand new 2024 Toyota Sequoia TRD Pro. It needed a new bumper, passenger quarter panel and a passenger side headlight. Nylunds had my vehicle for 3 months, during this time there was little to no communication regarding the status of my car. I had to call constantly before I would get a call back. I would have NEVER taken my car to Nylunds if I had know that they have zero care or respect for my time or money. Sean lied to me repeatedly about the date my vehicle would be ready, telling me on multiple occasions that it would be ready only to be given another excuse when it was supposed to be picked up. I had to cancel an out of country business trip because I could not trust Sean at his word on when my vehicle would be delivered. Today after 3 long months I pick my car up and start the 45 minutes drive home, about 5 minutes from my house there was a sudden loss of power and now I'm getting 2 warning messages "parking break malfunction" & "Hybrid System Malfunction".... This is beyond atrocious, there is ZERO reason that this should be happening to my brand new vehicle after it's been in Nylunds hands being "fixed" that last 3 months. Not only am I planning on filling a lawsuit, I'm making a complaint with the Better Business Bureau & With Toyota. Not sure how on God's green earth these people are certified by Toyota. Not only have they wasted months of my time, they returned my vehicle in worse condition than when I dropped it off. I drove the car to them without issue, and received it back with multiple warning lights going off 45 minutes after picking it up. Now I have to get it towed to the dealership to get it fixed properly, after Nylunds supposedly fixed it after having it for 3 months. This is by far the worst experience I've ever had in my life getting a vehicle repaired. I wish I had never taken my car to Nylunds, and if you care about your money, time and condition you will get your car back in. Nylunds Collision is the only place to go for your car repairs. After being hit by a driver with Allstate, they offered the cheapest possible route for my repair, I refused to allow them to skimp on my repairs. I took my car to Nylunds for a second opinion and inspection and I found out just how bad Allstate was trying to screw me over. Nylunds was thorough when inspecting, the action plan had every bit bolt and screw needed for my repair. They even took it to Subaru for additional inspection. im super happy with the work done to my vehicle. Upon pickup my car was presented to me in their showroom, fully detailed on the inside and out. They also include a lifetime warranty on their repairs. Bonus notes, Allstate's adjusters were the biggest pain in the ass. Exceptional service and amazing attention to detail. Someone hit my brand new Lexus on my birthday-- I was heartbroken! After almost a year of telling myself that they were just scratches, and living downtown, it was probably inevitable that it might get scratched up again. However, after being sad about it every time I looked at my car even after a year later, I finally decided to get it fixed. I took my car into the dealership for maintenance and asked for an estimate then. The Lexus dealership told me that my bumper looked like it could easily be buffed out since the damage looks like it's from the other cars paint scratched onto mine. They said they didn't do that at the dealership but gave me a card of where they recommended me to go and it was Nylund's Collision Center. I called Nylund's Collision and tried making an appointment to get an estimate to buff out the damage. They were booking a month ahead, but John said he could look at it, and squeezed me in between appointments. I got to my appointment and John was very thorough in explaining the process and made sure he understood what I wanted. As I was waiting, I saw they had a shelf dedicated to awards they won and I could definitely see why! Nylund's Collision had my bumper buffed out and it looked like new. When John lead me out to show me the car, I was almost in tears! The tiny area that had paint chipped off, they covered with touch up paint and they polished out the little scratched on the plastic portion. I came out of Nylands feeling like my family member worked on my car by the extra effort they put into making my car look beautiful. They were very pleasant and easy to work with (e.g., able to schedule an appointment within the week), but their estimate for the work was astronomically high. They also said they couldn't complete the work without replacing another part of my car due to factory specs. The total for the work related to the accident that led me there in the first place and to replace my door would have been more than my car was worth. I went to another collision center with the same amount of 5-star reviews that could get me in within a week, and their estimate for the collision was 60% CHEAPER than Nylunds. Also, they did not make any claims about being required to repair other parts of my car's body and said it was absolutely not necessary. Nice enough, but the difference in quotes is so substantial that it is hard not to be very skeptical. read more

When my insurance company requested additional documentation, they refused and told me they'd done all they were going to do and it was up to me to pay the remaining amount out of pocket and then figure out how to get the money back from the insurance company. My insurance company opted to pay them thousands, yes thousands, of dollars in "storage and admin fees" just to get my car out of there without getting fixed. It should tell you something when the Lexus dealership tells you "I'm sorry" when you tell them that you initially took your car to Nylund's. How this place has any positive reviews is mind blowing! Really great group to work with. Rob was extra helpful throughout the whole process of trying to get my car fixed. Unfortunately my car became a total loss after all evaluations from Nylunds as well as my insurance adjuster. The whole dealing with insurance after an accident was new to me but Rob was always willing to help me in any way possible and answer any questions I had about ANYTHING. They also were able to fit me into their already busy schedule because they knew how urgent getting my car fixed was since I was moving out of state within a month. If my car was fixable, there is no doubt I'd let Nylunds fix it (why I went in the first place). I wish I would have sorted by newest first for the reviews. With all the hail damage in Colorado this year getting into a repair shop were several months out. My daughter's car was a few weeks old special ordered and was damaged by a deer. While she is okay sadly her car was not. Nylunds was recommended and quite far from the east side of town. However, they could plan to start her car before the end of the year (sounded promising but still months out from the incident). Prior to the drop off they send out a document using an electronic signing application with details about pricing. Honestly unless you are in the business or have used a repair shop you would never know their prices were outrageous compared to industry standards. They seem nice and explain while you are there that they will help you communicate with your insurance company and keep you updated along the way. There was a small comment about an item that we might need to pay out of pocket just to make the process faster. I emailed my insurance company and told them about the comment and was told they already know about the item and would make the payment in a timely manner. In fact, every email I sent to my insurance company I received a timely response or follow phone call. I wish I could say the same thing about Nylunds. They were only quick to send me email about owing over $5500 over what the insurance company would agree to. While my insurance never said NO to their demands, they did require additional documentation for the justification of the price difference. Nylunds refused to provide any additional information but continued to email and harass us for the additional funds. I made sure my insurance company had copies of their email demands. My insurance company called and emailed to find resolutions to no avail. The breaking point was when we called to inquire about the car and the progress 2 weeks later Matthew from Nylunds pretended not to know anything about all emails and communications with the insurance company. I mean seriously we live in the day and age of technology, and everything has a time stamp. We are in the same boat as a fellow reviewer. My insurance company opted to pay them thousands, yes thousands, of dollars in "storage and admin fees" just to get my car out of there without getting fixed. We have also had the same experience from several other repair shops stating they know all about Nylunds tactics. Our advice to anyone who values their time and money DO NOT USE THIS REPAIR SHOP. I've had work done here before and I was completely satisfied. This time my experience was the opposite. I took my car in to get an estimate for small things. One was an ashtray replacement and the other was to replace a missing 2 inch tow plate on the the rear of my car. At the time of the estimate, I was told the tow cap would have to painted even though I had been advised from another auto body company that it could be ordered without having to be painted. The official estimate was emailed later that day. The amount was over $500! Included in the amount was something about disinfecting charge for $25. I ended up taking my car to Bradford Auto Body. They did and excellent job after ordering the parts. It took 45 minutes and they charged me $230. I will never go back to Nylund again. I don't trust them. read more

Working with Nylund's was an absolute pleasure. We found Nylund's through a recommendation on Facebook, and I'm glad we did. I'm extremely particular about auto body work, and have never once been completely satisfied with any autobody work I have had done. Up to this point I had given up on the idea the a car could be repaired back to a factory condition. Nylund's is now the very first place where I will take any of my vehicles that need auto body repair. In March my wife was in an accident with a reckless driver and our minivan was pretty badly damaged. The car was towed away and sent to the storage lot that the state troopers work with, then transferred to another lot specified by the insurance company. When it got there the adjuster did an initial inspection and found the car had about $7000 worth of damage. About the same time my wife made our first contact with Rob (the owner) at Nylund's. He was extremely helpful, he was able help her interpret the the estimate that the insurance company had provided. I was unhappy that the insurance company wanted to use aftermarket and salvage parts on the car, Rob was very helpful to point me to the manufacturer's parts use statement where they state that using those parts is not the recommended repair process. Before we even moved the car to Nylund's Rob invited us down to the shop and discussed his repair policies and let us take look around. When we got there Rob spent more than half an hour walking us around and discussing the repairs. We later had the car moved to Nylund's for an estimate. Upon initial estimation Nylund's found $20,000 worth a damage to the car and had not even taken it apart yet. The insurance company sent a different adjuster over and promptly totaled the car. All along the way communications with Nylund's was fantastic. The estimate process did take a while, but if you want good work you're going to have to wait in line. When my wife called she often spoke to Rob himself and he was very upfront about the timeline. Through most of the process Nylund's had not received any money (as no work had been done yet), still the customer service was amazing. Like I said earlier the car was totaled, so we never got a chance to see what the finished result would look like. However after a couple of trips there, and seeing the cars that were going out the door I believe that our car would have come back in factory new condition. I saw one review that speculated that they were getting a different level of service because they weren't having an expense car worked on, my minivan was a 2015 Kia Sedona and this was my experience. Wow! I am very satisfied with the work of Nylund's. Their communication, knowledge, and dedication completely reflect this 5 star review. I brought my 15' 4Runner in after doing considerable research on body shops in the area. I had 3 separate claims from 3 different instances that had built up over time and figured I'd get it all done at once. I wanted to find the best shop I could because 3 separate claims is a lot of paperwork and phone calls on their end. On my first visit to get my car scheduled I spoke to John Groome and he really seemed like he had a great grasp on his job. He was also very personable, thorough, and made you feel comfortable about the process. They were pretty backed up so I had to wait about a month to get the vehicle in, however once I dropped it off they got the ball rolling immediately and kept me informed throughout the entire process. There was a delay from one of the insurance companies not willing to pay for Toyota parts. John really put the pressure on that insurance company and had my back when it came down to finding creative ways to get the job taken care of at the right level of quality. I remember the day he called to inform me of the situation and gave me the options, he said "I'm pretty sure you chose us because we put the correct parts on the correct vehicles, right?", and that's when I knew I made the right choice. And towards the end of the repair process it was taking a little longer than I had personally expected because of all that but I just had to remind myself I had given them 3 separate claims on 3 different areas of the vehicles and had to deal with 2 insurance companies. And I knew I picked this place because of how good a job the other reviews have mentioned, and couldn't have been more glad I did. Both of the Enterprise reps that had picked me up and dropped me off here mentioned themselves that this was THE shop to go to and they have extensive experience on high end vehicles, as well. I'd also like to mention that Reanna and the other front office secretary were very cordial over the phone and knowledgeable on the case, or got me to the right person quickly. I had an unfortunate incident backing out of my parking space in condo garge. Got to close to the post and rubbed up against it. The passenger side front bumper (although not dented) was scuffed up. I called a few places. Laura at Nylunds was amazing. She patiently listened and was most helpful with my logisitical problems of getting the car to the shop. She even offered to have the shop drive me back to Aurora where I was staying. That in itself was above and beyond as it's easy a 40 minute drive one way. The Appraiser Robert sent me a full repair plan and photos. The work was more involved than I expected and I did not want to claim on my insurance (it was completely my fault and just stupid). I spoke with Robert about other options. He buffed it out and got most of the scuff marks off. The rest is cosmetic that for now (given covid and being temporarily unemployed) I can live with. He was very nice and understanding as we talked it through. He did not try and pressure me what so ever into doing the more involved repair. If and when I decide in the future to get the work done I will not hesitate to call Nylunds. They were professional, curteous and care about their customers which is rare in todays world. The other shop did a total hack job on my vehicle. My daughter's car was hit by a drunk driver while parked in February. As of April 9th she is still without a car. Nyland's has given her the run around, excuses and double talk for 3 months. The drunk's insurance is paying for everything, but refused to pay for a rental car for more than one month. She has been on foot for 2 months while Nyland's dinks around. This place might be ok for people with extra cars to drive, but if you want your body work done in a timely manner you should go to one of the many other auto body shops around.
