I really like the Chicken Hogie. Nor served on a regular bun but on a toasted French style bun. Cubed chicken bites, cheese, and grilled onions. I like to add jalapeños. They cut it in half cause it's so big. Comes with fries too. They have a large amount of items on their menu. They have baked potatoes that are very good too. Service is very good & fast. Nothing is made ahead of time. The tables are not crowded together like most places. They have two tvs, one on each wall and the noise level is low. You make your own drinks with unlimited refills. The absolute BEST Philly Cheesesteak I've ever had and my wife got a kids cheeseburger and she could only eat half of it because it was so big. This was one of our usual stops, ever since they opened years back. But, went yesterday for CB's; they were AWFUL ! You have been warned. . . . . . Also note that their burger offerings now are limited to the 4oz "kiddie burger'' and the enormous half-pound "regular". Great cheeseburger and philly cheese steak sandwich! just passing thru town and this hit the spot.

I only had a light appetizer and ice cream during this visit. The server was kind and helpful I got their popcorn shrimp and vanilla Blue Bell ice cream. The shrimp came out hot and crispy and they had cocktail sauce to go with it. They also have 2 tvs with game shows showing and plenty of seating. Was in EC for the day and decided to give them a try. They are known for their burgers but wasn't feeling like a burger day. I had the ham & cheese sub & my friend had the BLT. Both were excellent. So much bacon on the BLT! We got freshly cooked hot fries and they were delicious. My sub was packed full of ham, had to bring half of it home. Couldn't finish. Will be back. read more

Our 1st time here. We live in Rosenberg, so it was about a 40 minute drive. I wanted a mini road trip. After googling, and reading reviews, I picked this place. Happy we did! Popular spot. Spacious burger restaurant within a strip center that's clean inside, offers a large menu and has reasonable prices. Of course, burgers aren't the only food their serving. They offer about 6 specialty burgers and their pounder burger, for example, if you're a big eater is only $6.99. I ordered the mighty xtreme burger combo which comes with chili, cheese, bacon and jalapeños. For the combo, its only $9. This is a pretty good deal and yes, it's pretty messy. The fries it comes with are lightly seasoned steak fries, although they also offer curly fries, tots, onion rings and a slew of other sides, with likely upcharges. I'm guessing none are fresh or hand-battered though. Based on prices, I would return if I'm ever in El Campo again, or passing through like I was today and craving a good burger. read more

My group and I were in El Campo on a hunting trip and were looking for a place to grab lunch before we headed back home. Father & Sons was one of the recommendations. Given that we were all ready for burgers off we went. I ordered a Mighty Bacon Cheeseburger combo with fries and a drink. I like my burger all the way and it was a huge patty and well cooked. I enjoyed every bite. My wife ordered the cheeseburger combo. She enjoyed her burger just as much, in fact, she was not able to finish it. The fries were all nicely cooked, light and crispy. My brother ordered a Philly cheesesteak sandwich and was very pleased. My good friend ordered a grilled chicken club sandwich. We all sat around and raved about our food and how it was just what we were hoping for. This is a family establishment that will give you good service along with their great food! You place your order at the counter and they will bring the food to your table. You may be overwhelmed by their vast menu but who does not like choices! There are plenty of them.
