I had an appointment time with Alexis to get a piercing done here but I was never able to be pierced. One of the artists named Melissa was yelling at other clients and other staff members in the tattoo shop. It was very uncomfortable for me and my family to be in there, and I had to reschedule my appointment with Alexis for a piercing since I walked out without what I wanted done in the first place. Don't Ever Go To This Place!! This tattoo shop is extremely unprofessional and rude.I had an appointment (with a deposit) and the tattoo artist who's goes by the name Sutan never showed or even bothered to contact me with an explanation. The owner asked for me to come back the next day and when I did the shop was completely closed. When my wife reached out to him on the Instagram page he gave us, Sutan responded with disrespect and used profound language. Owner refused to refund my deposit. I went here to get a tattoo of my daughter's name and birthdate in Roman numerals on February 28th. Grimm did the tattoo (a design I did myself). It was fairly simple and dainty. I asked him to go back over one particular part and he did. In the end, it looked good from the mirror so I paid and went home. Once I finally got settled in at home, I took a few pictures of my new tattoo. I noticed the "R" was indented as if he went over it very hard, the "V" was missing the line underneath it and the third set of Roman numerals (the year) started off smaller than the rest and then got bigger. Also, some letters were bolder than the others. I thought that I would be able to get the touched up and that would be the end of it. Well, two months after I got the tattoo done, it was barely legible and terribly scarred. We were still under quarantine with the stay-at-home order. I took the "AFTER" picture on June 25th which is 3 almost 4 months later, but it has looked like that for about 2 months. I was embarrassed by it. Someone told me that it looked like I had it for 20 years. No one could even read it! Before anyone asked me about how I took care of it, this is not my first tattoo and I know how to care for tattoos. It's not that hard to do. I reached out to Juan aka Seven for advice. He are used to work at the shop when I got my tattoo and he's the one that is my fiancé's tattoo. My fiancé's turned out a whole lot better than mine for sure. He was able to tell right away that it was pretty messed up. I went to him for a cover-up, to redo my daughters name, and for an additional tattoo. They turned out great. Grimm is a nice person, so this isn't to bash his character at all. Could this just be a fluke? Maybe. I hope so. I did reach out to him and he said, "I can touch it up for you. I'm sorry about that." No, I did not go back which was my choice. I felt that it could not be saved and I was unsure about how any future tattoos done by him would turn out. My first visit was to get my Upper lobes pierced. Kreston was super nice and gentle. His station is clean and cozy. I mentioned to him that my nose piercing was annoying me ( my nostril was pierced elsewhere 2 weeks prior) and he took a look, noticed the jewelry piece was all wrong, which was messing up the healing process. He replaced it for me, and explained the what and why of what was wrong. Since he replaced it, I've had zero issues with it and it is now healing great, looking great AND feeling great. I was so pleased with his service, I came back for another piercing and brought my best friend with. we were treated with care and we love new holes. Kreston is my go-to guy for life. My best friend and I went to Fats to get similar tattoos. We wanted realistic roses. Let me tell you, I was NOT disappointed. The place is so clean, and they are very friendly and professional. Seven is just straight up amazing. I've never seen a more realistic rose than the one he put on my foot. His lettering is gorgeous, too. His also very personable. I went to Kreston for my industrial, conch and my upper lobe piercing. He did an amazing job. Although my ear was not a candidate for the industrial, he did his best to make it work. He took his time, (which was a long time) to align the piercing. He made me feel comfortable and made my dad comfortable enough to want to get pierced too. My piercing is healing well even with all the trauma I put it through. Kreston really knows his stuff. He even explained why he refused to pierce my conch with a ring. I love the work and the art but I wanted to make an appointment to make the colors more vibrant. His replies were not what I was expecting. He questioned how I took care of it, if I let the sun beat down on it... all with a very rude tone. I rarely wear tank tops and ALWAYS wear sunscreen. It's not my first piece Now that I go back and think of my experience in the shop, he was constantly going in and out to smoke a joint or talk to people about his new tool box. I was going to get a tattoo here, put a deposit down last week to come back. Came back and I changed my mind on what I was getting so I waited as the artist drew it out. Now I know I'm "old" at 40, but as I sat there I got more and more disgusted by the music and talk amongst the employees. A bunch of white people listening to music and singing along to N-word N-word N-word, and F bombs degrading woman music is not what I want to sit and hear. After about 40 minutes of that with the last song pushing too far I told them I was cancelling due to this. They offered to change the music, unfortunately I was already disgusted by the mentality here and I don't want people like that permanently marking my body, so I guess it was a good thing. Maybe also why both times I went I was the only one there, that could be a sign.... went elsewhere. read more
