The mountains took about an hour and a half and the rips/flowers took about 3 hours. I am sure I'm not the only one who thinks it might be a little awkward to sit there with a new tattoo artist, thinking what are you going to talk about, are they going to be cool, etc. All that went away as soon as I met Kenny. I was referred to him by a good friend. He's always very professional, really down to earth and he's a great designer. I came to him with a concept and he beautifully executed the vision I had in my head. With the mountains, I just wanted an image of something that already existed...fort the flowers only had the image in my head to go off of and Kenny hadn't done many "rip" tattoos, but I couldn't be more happy with how it came out. I am obsessed every time I see it. As long as he's an artist I will continue to come to him.

Not many tattoo artists will tattoo the face, but my co-worker is an artist, a teacher, and has significance to what she has always wanted. She happily greeted me and showed me her proud piece, which looked beautiful on her. She thanked me because I referred her to Black Anchor Collective. She asked me who did my artwork (and I made it clear about how picky I am about the art and the artists I choose), and she decided to go to Black Anchor Collective. I don't know the name of her artist, but she was proud and confident in displaying her facial art piece, and it did look great. The line work was fantastic. My artist was Matt Hurtado. He enjoys special interest pieces like MARVEL and DC comics, Pokémon, specific Japanese anime, LEGO, Star Wars, and so much more. For me, though, I requested flowers and a Scorpio, and he created my piece. Check the artists' pages and artwork before scheduling your appointment. You'd see what styles you like, and I liked Matt's style. I saw some flowers, and I knew he could do what I envisioned. The building is clean with artwork everywhere. Much of it reflects the owner's, Nikko Hurtado, style and things. But each artist has their own room that best reflects their own style and things. Booking an appointment at Black Anchor Collective requires time, patience, and email savviness. If you don't know how to read or respond to emails, you may need to go somewhere else. This place is professional, and many of the artists attend conferences or have long sessions. If they can respond to your email while on the road, perfect, and it's always helpful to know what you want. I am glad I got my piece from Black Anchor Collective, and I did patiently wait for about a month for my spot. Every artist is different, so follow their social media and contact them accordingly.

Mario and his wife have a house on my street, it's supposed to be owner occupied but is not, instead it's occupied by Mario's wife's(future ex wife, I'm not technically sure) Boyfriend who in fact lives there rent free, no water or trash service, he steals from the neighbors & Mario(in Mario's case he stole & spent $80,000 from Mario's biz account. In fact the Bf is one of those rare kind of scandalous people, that no matter what kind of deal you worked out with him, the second you turn around, he gotta grab a little more that was agreed on behind your back, everytime, he just can't help him self. Not to long ago he made me a deal, to where I was supposed to get like 1K worth of different items just to loan him this brand new computer I got, not only did I get my computer back gutted, I never got n e of the other stuff he promised me either, then I find out the 1k of stuff he promised belonged to Mario, so I did the right thing and told Mario what dude was up to, Mario have my e his word dude was being evicted and would be out of the house by the middle of Feb 2025. Why would Mario let the dude who broke he and his wife up, stole 80k from his biz account and still tries to steal from Mario today continue to live in his house, rent free, drive his car for the same price ???? Well I'm gonna tell you, first off the biznez accounts belong to the biznez owners who are Mario and his wife, turns out Mario and his wife make a lot of money, cuz they came up with some kinda sanitary glue that hold the tattoo pattern in place for the artist. Now all tattoo artist everywhere, not just in the US are required to use this glue that Mario and his wife hold the patten on, everytime a tattoo is done in a shop, they get royalties from their glue. Wow that's gotta be a lot of money ? I mentioned Mario his wife are getting divorced ? Well Mario it seems thinks all the biznez cash should stay his in the divorce, and the weasel played right into that for him, I guess Mario has an implied deal with his wife, if he don't press charges on the Wiesel for the theft of the 80k then she don't hire a divorce lawyer to protect her share of everything, of course he got to hire his own lawyer to ensure only she gets screwed in the end. Now I'm not passing judgement on n e body, even if it does seem Mario a little one sided there, I'm just throwing info out there for you guys to consider before picking your next tattoo artist. They were very nervous and scared Richard took his time explained everything and patiently waited for them to be ready before he started. He explained every step and gave them tips on how to relax. He gave detailed instruction on maintenance and cleanliness also took the time to explain it again before we left making sure they understood the importance of it. I'm very confused how this place has bad reviews. First off Richard is amazing he even wiped my girls tears from her eyes (very common with nose piercings) he cracked jokes with them and even gave them a extra nose ring to swap out when it's time. Blaming someone for your negligence is so odd to me! A 6 hour tattoo done in 45 minutes what this man charged me $500 for where every single line was jagged, crooked, and lobsided. He contradicted himself, lied, and went in circles when I confronted him about it through an Instagram dm, tried to charge me an extra $150 to shade it in when I went back in once the swelling went down and started to actually see what he did. Then told me I was threatening him when I said I would post photos on google and yelp reviews, but if you think I'm wrong and you did a magnificent job why is posting a review a threat? But baybeee listen that $500 is coo because guess what I will be in that galleria everyday from the time they open until they close standing with photos of the tattoo close up and photos from the conversation we held on Instagram for proof to warn people going in there. He go need that $500 because I can bet your last dime that I will be in that btch everyday showing people pictures of this tattoo he did and letting potential new tattoo customers of his know the scammer he is!
