Within a day or two, we got back a quote and the price was very fair and reasonable, especially for the amount of tiles that needed to be lifted and reinstalled. The work consisted of replacing the worn out underpayment at two areas on the roof. We signed the agreement and his crew came out the following day to do the work. Although it was over 100 degrees in blistering heat, the work was done quickly and professionally. They did a great job cleaning up the property after the work was completed. They even had replacement roof tiles ready, in case they broke any originals! I like working with A-Pro roofing because the price was great and the owner was extremely friendly and prompt to address our concerns. His crew was also respectful of the property and keeping things clean and orderly. I would recommend and use A-pro roofing again for my future roofing needs.. They are based in Palmdale, so I'm not sure what their normal work range is. They also brought their own Port-a Potty station and didn't need to access the inside of our house for their bathroom breaks or lunch period. The work went very smoothly with the first phase being the teardown, second phase was the sheeting and repair of the damaged wood and rafters, and the third phase was the actual installation of the new shingles and ridge cap. All crews that came out were very professional, thorough, polite, and hard working. The foreman on the job took responsibility of making sure that everything was being done correctly and at the same time listened to all my concerns. My concerns were being careful that my freshly painted handrails that wrapped around the garage were not scraped or damaged, I wanted my air conditioner condensers covered so no debris would fall into them and I also wanted my wife's plants protected from roof debris during teardown. My wife and I didn't want to cheap out on a roof so we went with this company. Unfortunately our price had doubled (price of a brand new car of the year at that point) after the demolition was done because of how bad the wood was underneath and we were recommended to put new plywood over it and we were told it would provide better support instead of replacing all the wood. We were also told it would be more money spent and risk the possibility of leaks later on if we tried replacing the old wood. The inspectors were informative of the work needing to be done but at times they did come off as more of salesmen trying to make a sale and get their numbers up. However we went ahead, bit the bullet, and approved the work. The job took about a week or two. I would have liked more communication on when workers would pass by because sometimes they would show up unannounced. Also I had found our Blink cameras on the floor under the roof rubble a couple times even though I had offered to remove them. Nevertheless the roof is done. It looks amazing. Time will tell if the work and warranty was worth the price. I will update my review accordingly.

I first spoke with Levon on August 10th and informed him of exactly what I was looking for. Levon designed the exact system I was looking for and was available day and night to answer all of the questions we had regarding changes and updates to the system. Levon was extremely knowledgeable on the entire process and emailed us during every step of the process. Our system was installed on September 7th and would have been earlier if it wasn't for us delaying the project being out of town and not getting the documents back to Levon sooner. Overall even with the delays the system was installed less than 30 days after contacting Levon. The install was very smooth and the foreman for the install project explained the entire process that morning and what the next steps would be. Again everything that was explained was exactly how the process went to the very last detail. The solar inspection from the city was on September 16th and we received PTO on September 20th. Our system has been operating for almost two months now I don't have one complaint about except I wish I would've call Levon at Solar Shoppers from the beginning. If you are looking to get solar for your home I would definitely recommend getting a quote form Solar Shoppers. Of all the companies I spoke with no of them could beat Solar SHoppers price or timeline to complete the install.

My advice to anyone considering this company: slow down, read everything, ask questions, and don't feel pressured to sign until you completely understand what you're agreeing to. For me, the lack of clarity and the unwillingness to fully address my questions were major red flags.
