I came into this place to have a molar fixed after the filling fell out. I was told I needed a root canal and was given a temporary patch up job. I really enjoyed meeting the Care team at this location. They're very friendly and efficient and respectful of my time. I heard stories of people's root canals being extraordinarily painful. I found them for my husband's dental emergency and they were able to fit him in the next morning which was a Saturday! I have avoided dentists since I was 18. Recently my wisdom teeth have been coming in and of course, I kept putting it off. Dealing with the pain knowing it would subside in a few days, I would always choose the pain over a dentist visit! Fast forward to Friday night and half of my face is swollen, and the worst pain I have ever experienced in my mouth. Restless all night I was searching for an office that would be open first thing Saturday morning! I found an office that could get me In at 11AM. To clarify that was not with Dr. Rex's office! I went in at 11 and was finally called back by 1145. They took me back, put a mirror in my mouth for about 30 seconds. Did an X-ray and sent me on my way with pain killers and antibiotics and a "we will call you" attitude about getting my wisdom teeth removed. Witch he clearly stated would need to be done but he would have to refer me somewhere else. After taking my first round of antibiotics and THREE pain killers, my pain was worse that ever!! I called the doctor literally crying explaining how much pain I was in. They asked me to "wait" and that surely the pain would subside. Come 4 o'clock I was ready to go to the ER with no other options! I was desperate and was searching for anyone that would help. Dr. Rex's office was closed and he and all of his assistants were gone for the day, STILL the Dr came BACK to work at 5pm on a Saturday and removed all 4 wisdom teeth within a hour and a half WITHOUT putting me under! The pain was extremely minimal and the dr was sooooo good about making sure I was comfortable through the whole procedure. His assistant was stellar, she also came back to work on a SATURDAY after already being home!! She held my hand through the scary parts and made sure I was aware of everything that was going on! Love this place. Tiffany was very honest with their treatment options, providing what works the best for me . They dont simply offer you what will be the most profitable for them. Unless other places that put you on a list of future treatments upfront without fully evaluating the patient's insurance first, favero dental really runs on integrity, not money. They have such a warm genuine vibe, which takes away my fear of going to the dentist. My teeth are not straight, but they never push me into any orthodontic treatment. My story with Favero Family Dental. I figured, I should give them a review why? Because Dr. Rex said, "If you believe your experience was good, then by all means give us a review, and if it wasn't a great visit please disregard." Quite honestly, how can I not write a review on this awesome experience?! Story starts off with two of my fillers falling off my teeth. One on Thursday (3/26) and another Friday (3/27). I figured, "oh damn it now i can't eat because i was depending on either side to get me through before i make a dentist appointment. I search all over yelp trying to find a dentist that would open on Saturdays. I found Favero Family Dental here (thanks Yelp). I called in Saturday morning because if i don't get this fixed, I would have to starve myself until i get an appoint with my previous dentist. I called and Summer was happy to assist. I asked if there were any way she could fit me in today for an appoint because of what happened. She said there just so happen to be a last minute cancellation and if i can head on over that they will take me today. I head down and again was greeted by Summer. I filled out all the applications and before you know it their friendly staff was able to help me. I was then greeted by Dr. Rex, he check out my teeth and told me that it wasn't my fillings, it was actually my teeth that chipped off. The fillings were fine. I panicked a little, but it wasn't too bad because it wasn't close enough to effect the root. I was more than relief, i was given the certainly that everything was going to be okay. The selling point here was it was when Dr. Rex's gave me suggestions of what i should do here on out. He gave me options on what to do, but wasn't pushy on what i need to do. He said, "he's just my dentist and that I would be the one telling him what to do." Not only that, but he also put me whereas if, i were his son, this is what i'd suggest him to do. You don't get that these days as some other people would just tell you, "Oh! you better get it done. or you'll pay for it tomorrow " Anyways, during my visit here the hygienist (Danielle) was great and very thorough with my teeth. I also got to meet Paul Favero (Head Hancho of the Favero family). Whether you guys take my 2 cents on this family dental practice or not, they treat you like family , they are family. I ammmmmmmmmm deathly afraid of the dentist, despite having many children and multiple surgeries. My daughter in law referred me to this dentist office when I needed care and there arent enough stars to award. The office is very nice. And the staff are warm and inviting from the first moment. I was put at ease and didn't feel any judgement despite there being a lapse in care for me due to insurance changes. I was kept as comfortable as possible and a swift resolution to my pain was achieved thanks to Dr. Rex and his staff. I scheduled my next visit before leaving, I was so pleased. The staff called me the next day to check on me and I just received a hand written thank you note from my doctor for allowing them to care for me. I got to my Sat. AM appointment early and was outside talking to the dental assistant when Dr Favero came running from his home to the office 3 miles away. Full of energy and a funny guy to boot. Their office is state of the art and the staff is too! I had two broken teeth and was there awhile for my crown preps. I have to say it was the best dental experience in my 40 + years of going to a dentist. You feel like a part of their family. This is by far my favorite dental office that I have ever been to. It honestly all starts with the wonderful ladies in the front and back office to the exceptional dentists. They make you feel like you're part of their family and the office is so nice and welcoming. The first work they did to me was fix a bad filling done by a previous dentist. After that pain disappeared I knew that I had struck gold. I was also able to refer my sister who was told by a previous dentist that a bridge was simply impossible. Dr . Favero has been our families dentist... Well, Forever. Moving away to the bay area I always had an issue with finding a dentist whom I could trust and also who delivered such amazing and competent care equal to Dr. Favero. After having issue after issue with a problematic tooth , my mom mentioned going to see Dr. Favero. I was in town visiting when my tooth decided it was a good time to rear its ugly head and on a Saturday morning no less! My mother phoned and with absolutely no hesitation I had an emergency appt. The entire office is amazing, and Dr. Favero is the best... I had to have some pretty invasive oral surgery and it was a long morning for all but at the end of the appt. Dr. Favero said to call directly if I needed anything at all... Only he beat me to the punch and actually called in to check up on me that evening...Pretty amazing. Usually a dental visit is not what we look forward to, but Dr. Favero is so kind, very gentle and extremely informative, and just wickedly hilarious( I appreciate a good sense of humor, even in pain)! It is worth the two hour drive to Sacramento and I tell everyone that I will never go to any other dental office. I have hated going to the dentist for as far back as I can remember, so when my old dentist didn't remind me to reschedule my last appointment, I allowed it to slip my mind - for 2 years! I don't recommend doing that. I found Favero Family Dentistry here on Yelp at 4 o'clock in the morning on a Saturday when I was suffering from an excruciatingly painful toothache that all my pain medication had failed to dull. They called me back at 7:30am that morning (a SATURDAY!?!) and told me that while they were technically booked that day, they would squeeze me in. Boy am I happy they did! I was seen at 10am, and by 11, I was pain free! (Turns out I needed a root canal- again, DON'T forgo the dentist for as long as I did, it's NOT a good idea.) I must say, I was panicking about getting a root canal, but in Dr. Rex's capable hands I DID NOT FEEL A THING! Now I have a crown and feel as good as new!! Another great thing - every decision they make, they put themselves in your shoes..."if I were making this decision for my daughter, here's what I would decide, but it's completely up to you" was what he told me AND someone else while I was there.
