I hired them to trim 12 burning bushes at a cost of $350. Their performance was not what I expected. I assumed they would do a great job based on the wonderful photos shown at their website and the glowing reviews left by other Yelpers. I was left stunned and disappointed when I saw the mess they left me. They did not use a tarp to collect the clippings as shown at their website. And to top it off they used a leaf blower to clear the clippings along with the new mulch I just paid $1,400 to have delivered and placed. Additionally, the bush clippings and mulch were blown all over my front yard. I addressed my disappointment to them and their response was "sorry" and they reduced the price charged to $300. I take great pride in the beauty of my landscaping. I just need a company that feels the same and takes great care to keep it that way. As the saying goes "fool me once", but there definitely won't be a twice with this company. Yelp may want to reconsider their "guarantee" for this company. My advice to others is if you consider hiring this company, then you must accept the risk you might be left with substandard results and a mess to clean up yourself.

We were asking for price ranges and they wouldn't seem to give it to us even though we understood that they didn't have them available currently or that they may need to look it up. I can't help but feel like I thought we wouldn't be able to afford it or something of that nature. Otherwise, a not so bad experience. I contacted Larry through Yelp, and he was very responsive. He came out a few hours later to give.me.an estimate. The price was fair and he seemed reliable, so I hired him to do the work in 3 or 4 days. Due to weather and scheduling other projects, he actually came out just 2 days later. It was fantastic to drive up to my house and see a brand-new gate. Larry and his assistant were finishing up with the post. They had to remove a patch of concrete, then pour new concrete. The new post is very sturdy. Both of them were polite and friendly. Larry said he prefers cash or cashier's checks for payment. Based on this job, I highly recommend Heartland.

They also made sure to diligently clean up everything after the tear off including another run with the nail magnet the day after tear off to make sure everything was picked up.
