Now, I like aliens just as much as the next guy, but it was one of those places that I really had no reason to top of. But let me tell you, I am so glad that I did. In addition to having probably the largest selection of beef jerky next to buc-ee's, this place has more alien stuff than you can shake a stick at. Honestly, this place really does look like it belong on the Vegas strip with its big LED signs and alien motif all throughout the exterior. Additionally, they are in the process of building a UFO hotel. I'm going to tell you this. I will be there as one of the first guests in line when this thing opens up. Let's talk about the jerky for a second, they're not kidding when they say it's fresh. I have purchased multiple bags here on multiple occasions, and I got to tell you this is some of the best beef jerky you can ask for. It's super tasty, and not like that really nasty hard stuff you buy out of gas station convenience store, this stuff really is fresh. I don't know how to quantify alien fresh, but this jerky iis probably some of the best I've ever had. Tons of different flavors and heat levels for every person's taste. Bottom line? This place Is definitely the place to stop when you're out on the road going to or from Las Vegas from Orange county. Honestly, It's a perfect pit stop.

Unfortunately, the customer service has declined tremendously and has become borderline rude. During our visit today, our daughters wanted to use the souvenir penny machine, but it took their money and wasn't working. When I politely mentioned it to the cashier, "Vicky," her response was simply, "Yeah, it's broken," with no apology or concern at all. I suggested they may want to put up a sign so other customers don't lose money, and she just shrugged and tossed our purchased items toward us before dismissing us. It was a really disappointing experience, especially at a place we've enjoyed for so many years. Sadly, this will probably be our last stop here. At this point, places like EddieWorld seem far more welcoming and worth the visit.

There are multiple small eateries inside with different hours. The main area has a bunch of snacks, including many sugar-free options. They also have toys and some novelties. Not the cheapest, but pretty reasonably priced overall. We tried the coconut dark chocolate haystacks and laffy taffy. The haystacks were really good. So much dark chocolate and nuttiness. The laffy taffy was alright. Prone to melting even at room temperature, but the kids enjoyed most of the flavors. There's also a gas station - very convenient!

More than a convenience store it is a gift shop offering hot food, desserts and bulk candies of all types to satisfy anyone's sweet tooth... it is a specialty shop where you can order fresh sandwiches and other made-to-go items and get your hands on chocolate, beef jerky, nuts, snacks like popcorn, dried fruits, wasabi peas, and more salty treats, and of course, ice cream and just about any type of candy you can dream up. We shared a beef burrito... it was good. The banana split was yummy! They also sell stuffed donkey toys and other souvenir merchandise but you will also see real donkeys there sometimes blocking a gas pump LoL! This is definitely a one-stop shop for gas, candy, ice cream... and donkeys, if you're lucky to find them there while passing through Beatty in Nevada.
