I asked to put strawberry topping on my custard and the girl who was working there didn't do that. I asked for it to go too and everything was given to me as if I was going to eat there, no covers for the cups or anything. This is on me but I just didn't want to stay there any longer since the line behind me was getting long. She wasn't rude or anything it just sucks when you order something, pay for it, and they don't do half of what you asked. Not to mention it looked like she really didn't want to be there. I was pretty excited to visit this stand, as I heard and read good things about it. However, I am quite the custard connoisseur, and what I received tasted like ice milk cream. Maybe it was an off day, or maybe the ingredients weren't added right for this day. The texture was not smooth and it was gritty. It was hot out and the "custard" started to run and drip instantly. Now custard does run in the heat, but this was like a running faucet! They also have regular soft serve there, so I will try that next time instead. I was really disappointed today. read more

OMFG - THE BEST MALTS I'VE EVER HAD! I'm already a shake/malt connoisseur, and when I went to visit my mom, she absolutely raved about Seemoore's. I can't even describe how on the spot delicious these drinks are. They are the perfect amount of thickness and the sweetness level is not over the top. I love the little micro chunks of malt that you get when you actually drink a big gulp in. I ordered the chocolate malt while my mom ordered the vanilla and they were both scrumptious and seriously the best I've ever had. Even the pup cups are so cute because they add the extra little bone which in most places you're not going to find. My mom's dog practically snatched the entire cup out of my hand and I had to hold it so he didn't eat the Styrofoam too LOL. This is a must go to place if you are visiting the area. For locals, they already know how Seemoore's gets down. I wish they had this in California where I live because I would be getting a malt every week without fail. read more

A long overdue update...and still 5 stars. I've been going to Seemoores for almost as long as I've been visiting family in Pahrump. Nothing has changed....and that's a great thing. Menu is outside. Order at the window. Pay. There's a small service fee now for a credit card...30 cents...no big deal. There are a few tables under a small shaded area, and sometimes people sit on the bales of hay surrounding the little stand. My kids love going there...it's a Pahrump tradition now. I absolutely love this place! Just such a fun, quirky little place, claiming to be the world's largest ice cream cone (because the building is in the shape of a classic sugar cone topped with vanilla ice cream). I don't know if that record is legit but it is certainly a large cone! This is in the town I grew up in, so very nostalgic for me, eating a cold ice cream cone on a hot summer night in Southern Nevada. Staff is always friendly, and ice cream is served promptly to the awaiting patrons willing to brave the heat. Ice cream itself is very tasty, with a good selection of flavors. Overall, there is not a whole lot to do in this little town, so if you happen to be staying the night for whatever reason (baseball tournament; road trip rest up; etc.) then going to hang out at this little shop and enjoying a cone is a welcome event. read more

We've been to Pahrump many a time and have always seen this place but never stopped by. This weekend it happened to be 90 degrees in Pahrump so we thought it would be the perfect time to give it a try! We got strawberry kids cone, a vanilla custard waffle cone, and a pina colada smoothie. The kids cones were perfect size for little ones and even adults who don't want as much. The small waffle cone was a bit hard for me to finish. But it was went too much, just the portion was generous. The small pina colada was just enough to quench my husbands thirst. All of these were $12 which was a very fair price, especially for the portions. There were only 2 people working there and they were able to get through the orders reasonably quickly (there was a line!) Oh but one thing I noticed, the custard seemed to melt more quickly than the ice cream. Not sure why, but I had to eat mine faster than my kids to prevent a but mess. We'll definitely be back again. On this day they only had 4 flavors (one custard). I might try to get a topping next time. read more

Great prices! They have a few picnic tables under a shade covering around the side, but you can also take your treats to go. I got a hot fudge sundae with the fixings and it was around $4. No regular food, sweets only. Ice cream, banana split, custard, milkshakes, cones. So delicious! Their custard is good too! Read about this place and decided to go after spending the day in Death Valley. The ice cream was very icy. Which tells me that they are not changing out their soft serve mix at the end of the day. It's gets icy when mix is refrozen , so it seems they are adding the mix to the machines and not cleaning them out at the end of the day. I work in the ice cream business and our company makes the best organic soft serve, so I'm familiar how it's supposed to take.
