And she did just that! I had very little post partum issues (if any) compared to the plethora I had with my first at the hospital. I felt more empowered as a mother after this home birth than I did with my hospital birth. Dania also gives you the freedom and strengthening support to deliver however your body feels led in the comfort of your home. Her joyful personality was exactly what my type A personality needed. After touring the hospital I realized that paying out of pocket to have a home birth would be well worth the investment. After calling around and doing some research online I interviewed a few midwives and decided that Dania was the one for me. Upon stepping foot into her office and talking with her I was immediately impressed and put at ease. She is extremely professional, warm and competent. I personally think that Dania was built to be a midwife. She is very well balanced in all the areas that are important for a successful home birth. -Patience, experience, professionalism, up-to-date knowledge and warmth- Every time an issue came up during my pregnancy her advice was invaluable and my issues (backaches, low energy) were resolved with 1-3 days. During the labor and delivery process I was at ease knowing that Dania was there to guide me and her timing with preparing my birthing room/supplies was impeccable.
