Peach Alley Court - Vaulted ceilings give these apartments a nice spacious loft feel

The kitchen is narrow and cramped. In terms of perks: there is a washer dryer in each unit, dish washer, and a small gym in the courtyard commons. The floor is carpeting. Small pets welcome. In all, a cute place if you are looking to rent in E-town. No pests or bugs.

My boyfriend has lived at Peach Alley for 4 years, myself for a little over a year. When i first…read moremoved in, my boyfriend raved about the place, how he had never had any issues, neighbours were wonderful, etc. A few months after i moved in, new management had taken over, and it began to go down here. They are definitely all about the money, as they will basically let anyone who can afford the $815/month rent live there. I am disappointed by their lack of a consistent dog policy. The policy was no dogs over 25 lbs, but now i see people walking their husky, or their rottweiler, etc. Also, who would put a cigarette butt container right by the main entrance. I have severe asthma, and it awful to walk through that cloud of smoke. Not to mention, i am pretty sure our neighbours down the hall smoke in their apartments, and the smoke lingers into our vents and our apartment. I do not appreciate the type of people they have let in the building. We experienced a horrible couple next to us who fought and screamed and yelled at all ours of the night and let their dog bark until the wee hours of the morning. It took us THREE calls to the local police for the management to finally evict them. That is ridiculous. Also, the area around the building is getting really shady. I am pretty sure i have seen drug deals go down across the street, and a few weeks ago, a guy high on bath salts got into the apartment complex and tried to attack a tenant. I cant make this stuff up. It makes me sad to see this happen, because although very small and a bit pricey for what its worth, the huge windows and high ceilings are amazing, and i love the old feeling of the place with the wooden beams. Its just a very unique setup. Like i said, I think the management needs to do a better job with rules and regulations, especially on who they choose as tenants. The dog rules need to be adhered to and those people WITH dogs need to learn to clean up their dog's feces so that other people dont ruin their new shoes.

The reason why it's so hard to get in here...is because of how GOOD it is here. Management is amazing!!! We were met with kindness and professionalism....and that still continues to this day. Shady Oak doesn't need a pool or fitness center to sell it.......the apts (I call condos bc they're as nice as one)...sell themselves. Not to say ...that I wouldn't be mad if they put a pool in...lololol. One person's "bad" experience should not reflect the majority. As for "the rich"..not living here....the other reviewer...seems pretty elite-ish. 100k combined....not nothing new here....just look at the nice cars in our parking lots. There's a perfect mix. And to assume that there is going to be crime here....is so off base. It's quite, beautiful, safe and a great place to raise a family. So please do not allow one crap review from steering you elsewhere. I recommend our development to everyone--if there is availability. The only reason ppl leave here is if they buy a home or get to an age where they require assistance.

Priced well below similar complexes. Wouldn't have left if I hadn't bought a house. Excellent team to do business with, had a few minor issues with hot water and the freezer, but were taken care of promptly by the service team. Altogether a great experience and I would recommend them to anyone.

I can't vouch for all of PPI's apartment rentals or landlords, but after signing a lease with them,…read moreI quickly realized they rented me an apartment that was a few steps up from being a glorified shack, connecting me with what would be the *worst landlord of my entire career as a renter -- I don't have many regrets in life and renting from PPI is one! Steer clear, Elizabethtowners. *DO NOT rent from Wayne Agnew and his whack job *cough cough*, um, wacky daughter, Missy Agnew. I don't believe that most people are inherently evil, but if there were two people on this earth who were, it'd be these two. Wayne spends half the year on an island in the Florida Keys, so, he is useless when things eventually go wrong (remember: glorified shack), and Missy isn't an official landlord (or professional in any way), but I was forced to deal with her because he Dad is MIA. Missy is another joke all on her own -- and not the funny kind! She definitely overestimates her own intelligence, but I have to hand it to her, she is conniving. I figured out that she had noticed a distant connection within my private facebook account and had this person "liking" everything I did that had to do with my residence at that apartment (not to suggest that that I reveal much info on FB, but I did complain a little, like "OMG, there is 2 feet of water in my basement") so she could dip into my account, accessing my personal info. After ten months, I'd had it. When I was ready to move out of the apartment due to sewage spewing out of the drain of my shower, I gave her permission to enter the apartment when I was not home so she could check out the problem. A few hours later, she emailed me, and in a "the joke's on you" kind of way, informed me that the sewage "smelled like flowers" and she'd video taped my apartment. For what? I don't know, but it's on file with the Elizabethtown Police. So, she was kind of stalking me. She looks to be about 40 years old and it seems like the best thing going on in her life is getting drunk on borrowing her Daddy's authority. In one breath, she'll come to your door to try to resolve an issue that could have been dealt with via mail, and then turn around and proudly yell to a neighbor that their mutual friend is her "Baby Daddy" who's currently in jail. She's definitely the creepiest woman I've ever met. I could write a book on her. Maybe I will. Chimney collapses, basement floods, furnace leaking oil, sewage spewing from the shower drain and Wayne bragging about how much money he has and then dragging his feet to fix things (if ever)...need any more reasons NOT to call Property "Professionals" or the Agnews? **Might I add that I always paid my rent on time. At the time, I was single, a non-smoker, clean, and a college professor with two degrees -- not to suggest that anyone deserves awful treatment like this, but I am kind of a solid person. I wasn't selling Ecstasy out of my back door like my next door neighbor (unfortunately, I'm not joking here). The other two units were occupied by volunteer firefighters and their small families, whom he was also very rude to when they contacted him about trying to fix up the house and yard. Have a little more respect for your public servants much? Especially really nice ones who might save your life one day? Don't be swayed by the affordable rent. I've heard good things about the factory apartments up by the Metra. Good luck!

I tried to ask them a question at the office one day and they told me to go home and somreone would call me. They lied to me about who my landlord was until the day after we already moved in. The landlord they left me with was creepy, rude, mean, and harrassed us until we moved out. He would come in when we weren't home, barge in when we were home, he asked me where my baby sleeps and if I breast feed. He was terrible. I was out almost every day because I was scared to be home. I tried to get to PPI about it and they didn't care. They are all rude l would not recommend them to someone I hate. They are not professionals and are practically slumlords.
