2017.04.29 FANTASTIC EXPERIENCE !!!! We rented 2 limos (8 & 16 passengers) for the wedding of our daughter. Both limos arrived ahead 15-20 min. ahead of time at both locations, which gave us plenty of time to get our stuff and all the gang in our car. Both drivers were courteous, gallant and paid attention to the details. At night time, again the limo came 15 min. ahead of time to pick us up (3 couples) and dropped us at 3 different locations - downtown Ottawa / West end / Orleans - the ride was very pleasant. I will again use their impeccable service. I would recommend them to my family members and friends. Thank you again ! Omg!! Had a 500$ party bus for 16 people booked for months and they cancelled it 7 hours before departure. Then we complained online and this guy Vlad called and promised two, 10 person limos to fix the problem. They never showed up. Scrambled calling cabs and getting our children to drive us to the airport. Had like 40 000$ worth of trips at risk. Seriously; this is not just a bad service provider. These are malicious people who when you post a complaint, literally tried to sabotage a trip for a very large group. WORST COMPANY IN THE BUSINESS! One month before my event, I booked a party bus to drive 14 members of my family to a wedding 45 minutes away from Ottawa. The day before the event, I talked to Vlav to make sure he had all the information and that he was still able to pick us up at 2:30pm. He assured me he would be there. At 2:45pm, on the day of the event, the party bus had not arrived and no one had called so, I called Vlav who tells me that the party bus had a mechanical failure but, 2 vehicles are on their way to my place. At 3:00pm, no vehicles and no phone call. I call Vlav who tells me that the vehicles should be there shortly. He will call the drivers and call me back with their location. At 3:10pm, no vehicles and no phone call. I call back and Vlav informs me that they should be there in the next 15 minutes. The wedding is at 4:00pm and is 45 minutes away. I tell Vlav that this is unacceptable and that if the vehicles are not here in 10 minutes at the latest, we will miss the wedding. He gives me more excuses and apologies and tells me that he will see what he can do and call me back. At 3:15, he calls me back to tell me that the 2 vehicles can't make it to my place in 10 minutes, they can be there in 30 minutes at the earliest! We ended up driving ourselves to the wedding because we would have missed it otherwise if we would have waited for the UNRELIABLE and UNPROFFESIONNAL service of Federal Limousine. Omg, where do I begin?? We purchased a Groupon for this company. The groupon was for an one hour in an 8 person limo service. When I called to reserved, I told the person on the phone that we might be 8 to 9 girls, still unsure at this point. He said 8 are recommended, but as long as the 9th girl is not too overweight or if all the girls are not too hefty, they can accommodate. Wait... what? Pretty offensive stuff. Couldn't believe what I was hearing. In hindsight, I should've took that as a sign, a really bad sign. Anyways, we booked with them. The day of the ride, the driver picked us up 10 minutes late. The driver was not very friendly from the start. It felt like we were a burden to him. We only made one stop which was at the Museum of History. When I booked this company for my daughter's wedding I had not read the reviews. After I did, the majority of the reviews were negative. I called them back with my concerns but they assured me I would get good service and I would have the car I rented (Mercedes AMG550 2021 in ivory). The day of the wedding a limo showed up with the excuse that the Mercedes had a flat tire. I had called at noon to ensure all was fine with my reservation and was told yes. I was livid. While it was clean inside the windows were filthy. Yes the guys showed up on time, yes he was polite, and yes we got to destination. But I did not get what I paid for. I guess I should have listened to the reviews as they were true. Never again will I rent from Federal limousine. By the way they operate under many names. I sent a message to Mike, the guy I talked to at first, to express my frustration and he did not even have the decency to respond. So this tells a lot; they just don't care. I recently made a booking with Federal Limousine Services (they quoted me the best price, by a long shot!) for a work activity. I do student services and we were planning a trip to Montreal for my students. Last minute, more than half of my students cancelled and I had to cancel the trip. The staff at Federal Limousine Services were more than accommodating and understanding of my situation and were able to let me off the hook. I was extremely stressed out and they were more than willing to help me out (answered my calls quickly, and responded almost immediately) when I could have been stuck with the bill and a bad situation. We hired a party bus for a wedding and they showed up 40 minutes later than scheduled, so the bride and groom had to stand around until then, and were late to the reception due to it. On the way to the reception, the driver delayed us even further because he had to STOP FOR GAS! It was crazy. He even arrived late to pick us up, and brought us to the wrong drop off location.. Well where do I start. Do I start with they say satisfaction guaranteed but then refuse to phone you back or honour that statement. I booked one hour for my daughters bachelorette in August. About the only thing that was good was that the driver arrived on time. It was all downhill from there. The air conditioning in the car did not work. There was a window that was broken and it would not go up or down so the person sitting there was not comfortable the whole hour. They did not know how to work the radio and the driver would not show them so they had no music The driver was a complete dick and tried to drop them off over 10 minutes early...um we did pay for an hour right... and the best part of the evening...after all that the driver ASKED for a tip... The office was nice as pie to me before the night but since...basically tell me lies....tell me the owner is going to call me...stop answering their phones...pathetic really. I wish I has read these reviews earlier......this company is the worst! I ordered a stretch limousine but got the most beat up and pathetic "party bus" I have ever seen. It was literally held together with duct tape. The driver had to use a crowbar to open the doors. My daughter and her friends (for whom I had booked the limo) were told to take it easy around the corners as the driver couldn't guarantee the doors would stay shut. They were then dropped off 6 blocks from their destination and were told it was more conducive for the driver as she had another pick up. I complained to the company and they send me a gift certificate for less that half of what I had spent, as if I'd ever use them again! Since then, they've been ignoring me. This company DOES steal your money. I made a reservation for end of October and they took my card information to hold the reservation. I CONFIRMED that they will not penalize or charge me anything and I can cancel up to 1 week before the event. They charged me IMMEDIATELY (august 16) for the full amount of 500$! I called them on sunday to cancel. They said ok. They'll do it when accounting opens on Monday. I called them on Monday and they said call back on friday if it's not done. This is when I involved my credit card company. I reserved it for my wedding and the negative reviews said they just dont show up and charge you. They emailed me on Tuesday saying that I'd need to pay a penalty and I should send an email money transfer. What kind of shady operation is this? They are scammers!! read more

I made three....not one...but three phone calls to them to ensure they were going to pick us 8 ladies up for my birthday outing to a concert starting at 8pm. The pickup was scheduled for 7pm. As mentioned, I confirmed with them 3 times (i.e. the pickup/drop off location, the time, etc). "Oh ya ya ya...we got it....no worries...we've got a new limo for you...you'll have a great time". It is 7pm and myself and 7 of my lady friends were standing on the sidewalk waiting for this so called limo until 8pm. I called this guy at about 7:05pm and he said his driver had already left and might be a few minutes late but he would definitely be there and apologized. Then by 7:15, 7:30, 7:45...still not there. I called this guy back 17 times. Literally, 17 times! He turned his phone off and refused to answer. I was livid as our concert/venue was 40 mins away and it had already started. Needless to say, we had to call 3 taxis and showed up at our show at 9pm. Our show ended at 10pm. I cannot put into words how angry I was and still am. FRAUDSTERS!!!! DO NOT EVER SEEK THEIR SERVICES! Worse limo service experience. To start off I rented the limo for my daughrer's 11th birthday for her and her friends. The limo was 15 mins late which wasn't a very big deal. We then went to our event in the west of Ottawa from Orleans. We were promised a tour in downtown so the girls could enjoy the limo but the driver told us he was in a rush. During the driving to our destination I felt rushed and limo was obviously speeding to get to the drop point. I wasn't super impressed of a speeding limo with all these kids inside it. Once arrived to our destination I asked the driver if we could leave our belongings in the car , mostly the kids jackets and purses, driver told me it wasn't a problem being that he was the one coming back to pick us up. At time of pick up I noticed it was a different driver and limo, I quickly asked him about our belongings since some of the kids had cell phones in their bags which they needed to call their parents to pick them up at our house. The new driver assured us that the kids things would be delivered to our residence as the same time as we would arrive. To no surprise once we arrived at our final destination nobody was there to hand off our possessions. I asked the driver about it and he promised that our thing would be dropped off shortly. I explained it was important to recoupurate the belongings since parents were picking up their childreen shortly and being that some of the things were jackets, school shoes and other things kids needed for school on Monday. Hours later nothing was dropped off. I then called the main number and was informed rudely that it wasn't their responsibility and the contract (which I never signed, read or even see one ) said that they are not responsible for items left behind. I tried to explain the situation and the person on the phone didn't care and keep talking over me. He said the properties were at their main location , 30 mins drive away from my house, and that I could pick them up there. I explained that I was told by two different drivers that my properties would be safe and returned to us. He responded "than sue me". Worse experience ever. These people are complete thieves. They charged me twice for a limo that never showed up. They refuse to give me a refund. I have complained to the BBB. Nothing has come of it so far. Also have asked Master Card to get the money back. They are presently working on it. Mike called me to say they would return my money if I stopped the process with Master Card. He said he can't return it while they are working on it. That is total BS, Master Card said he could return my money immediately. Mike makes excuses and never comes through with a return. HORRIBLE EXPERIENCE!!!! We will NEVER use this company again. We hired this company only because we found a great deal for their services on DealFind.ca. Although we thought it was too good to be true, we did not listen to our instinct and hired them anyhow for a birthday party. They showed up OVER AN HOUR LATE, and only after we repeatedly called the office asking where they were. The driver gave the excuse that he could not find the address, though upon booking we gave not only the address, but also the name of the franchised restaurant (which is located on a very busy street in Ottawa), so that was difficult to believe. Nevertheless, we let it slide and said that they are a small business and these things do happen, so we will give them another chance. BIG MISTAKE!!!! We hired them for my daughter's prom, and basically they ruined her prom. They never showed up at the agreed up on time, so we had to repeatedly call them asking where they were at. We were told the first time that they were running about 15 minutes late, so we waited, and waited, and waited. Every time we tried to call to get an update, no answer, only voicemail (same situation with the birthday party). They answer once, give some lame excuse, then won't answer the calls after that. The driver finally showed up about AN HOUR AND 15 MINUTES LATE, and then to make matters worse, NOT IN A LIMO THAT WE HIRED, but in an outdated town car. My daughter was devastated, as we had paid this company and hired them to drive her around to various stops the entire evening. We had no choice but let them drive her to the first stop in this old towncar, but called them and cancelled the service for the rest of the evening, demanding a FULL REFUND. Meanwhile, we had to call about 30 other limo companies in Ottawa and find an actual limo for her, which we did and paid more than double because it was last minute notice on prom night (but the second limo company was excellent and we will only use them from this point onward). It has been nearly four weeks since we were promised a full refund, but NEVER RECEIVED OUR REFUND. The excuses included send them an email asking for a refund because they could process it; they were working on the refund; the refund is almost ready; we are going to mail you a cheque; we are going to have one of our drivers drop it off to you on Friday at 6 pm; one of the drivers will drop it off on Saturday at 6 pm; then we are going to send you an Interac Email Money Transfer; we are not going to give you a refund until we speak to our lawyer; we want you to sign a waiver stating you will not sue us, then we will process your refund and send it to you later; and the list goes on. In the end, they were very rude and kept calling our home until we had to send them an email telling them to stop contacting us, and we would see them in court. As a consumer, I would stay away from this company, as cheaper is not better! They advertise on several of the discount voucher sites such as DealFind.ca, Groupon, TeamBuy.ca, and Kijii - to name a few. They refuse to provide an office location, asserting they do not have one. However, according to Canada411.ca, they are based out of a residence located at: 30 Rue de Monte Carlo in Gatineau, Quebec. Refusing to provide an address makes it much more difficult to file complaints with the Better Business Bureau, the Ontario Ministry of Consumer Services, and lawsuits through the court system, which they probably know. Finally, they claim on their site that they are located in Ottawa, though the address for the phone number states Gatineau, Quebec, so that makes it even more difficult (when it relates to jurisdictions for complaints). In my opinion, I had a great experience, They went above and beyond on my wedding the only thing that didnt go as planned was that they forgot the bottle of sparkling wine. but when they came back to bring us to the hotel we got surprised with 3 Bottles of sparkling wine and a bouquet of roses. SCAM ALERT - DO NOT BOOK WITH THIS COMPANY. My friends and I bought a Groupon for 2 hours of limo services with Federal Limousines, who said we could use it for prom, so we booked a date/time with them. On the day of the event, we waited...and waited...and waited....and they didn't show up! They didn't even CALL. When we phoned them, they claimed that the limo had gotten in a minor accident and wouldn't be coming, and that it wasn't possible to send any other limos. When we tried to get a hold of them afterward it took a week for them to call us back, and when we asked for any sort of proof/explanation regarding the accident they said they'd get back to us and NEVER CALLED BACK. After reading other reviews describing similar scenarios it's clear that there was no accident, and that this company is simply a scam that takes your money, doesn't show up, and doesn't refund you.
