Mr. Ed Randall is probably the most coldhearted banker I've ever met my 67 years of life. Prior to doing business and told me what a great guy my father was and how they would talk when he visited the bank. When I needed to withdraw money to help my father pay his nursing home debts Mr. Randall No compassion or common sense. I asked him how much my father had in his account, when was his next payment due, And I was told no information that was helpful causing my father great suffering. I initiated a complaint to Wells Fargo's headquarters in Philadelphia and was told someone would get back to me in two days. Of course no one called me back. I visited a branch in Sorrento Valley California a few days later. They told me more information about my fathers equity loan than Mr. Randall. However when these people attempted to help me further they gave me phone numbers that no one ever answered the telephone. In conclusion I would strongly recommend staying away from Wells Fargo Bank if you expect any type of customer service on a personal level.

Before I set the changes to allow bills to be paid using the card, I met with the Senior Personal Banker to confirm my understanding of the capabilities of the card. I was assured that bills could be paid with the card. However, when I contacted one of the potential payees, they would not accept it. I repeated tried to contact the Senior Personal Banker at the office to discuss the matter which led to complete frustration. First, when I called the number (during a business day) no one answered the phone (even after ~20 rings). I retried the call, it was answered after about 10 rings and I was told the Senior Personal Banker was busy and that she would get back to me. Guess what...I'm still waiting for the call back. In a business segment where the differentiation comes mainly from strong customer service this bank/branch fails miserably. Obviously there was a lack of respect for the customer as well as a dearth of proper business professionalism.

We were told to take advantage of their online banking to manage our accounts, but have been locked out -- for no apparent reason -- of the service 2 of the 3 times I've logged in, which necessitated a call to customer service with a 10+ minute wait time. I've had to go into the bank on 3 occasions to work out kinks, and each visit lasts on average, 90 minutes. It turns out each bank has strengths and weaknesses, and the staff at the local office told me last week they really can't do what we need them to do (business escrow service), and I appreciate their candor, and have no problem with the people I've deal with face-to-face. But I have no idea why they told us up front they could do what we need; AND to be turned over to the impersonal call-this-toll-free-number-for-help is frustrating. Maybe this bank is a-ok if you use them for your personal accounts, but for small business, there are better banks for sure.

Pretty, cottage-like structure for tellers and loan officers. This branch is not nearest home, but a convenient stop when going to the Jersey office and avoiding the Scudder Falls Bridge which is often a parking lot weekday mornings between 7:30 - 9:00. Bagel Train is also nearby for when a great bagel and coffee are desired to start the day.

Parking is ample though and the shopping center is nice. Service was great. I had Chelsie and she was nice and cordial about the application process. If there were any difficulties, it was always escalated to a manager through the phone...which seamlessly took minutes to solve. THE FINAL BAMBOO: I had a great experience at this Chase Branch. The only caveats are the limited employee resources. ATM onsite and usually a single teller/representative working at all times.
