Invariably when items are shipped to me via FedEx Canada, there are frequent changes in delivery dates. For example, I have rerceived 3 notifications within 2 days, the first informing me of a delivery date for today, then one notifying me of a delay of 2 more days, and finally, a notification that the parcel will arrive 6 days from now. Decided to use FedEx to mail my Christmas package to NS as Canada Post is in the middle of a strike. I was helped by a friendly lady at the counter named Remelyn. She was very thorough and helpful with the packages I needed to send out and was very detailed in telling me when my package will arrive. My packages arrived to their destination in exactly the day she said it will. Happy with my experience with them. :) read more

I came here to pick up a laptop I ordered and send off a return package to Amazon and I was pleasantly surprised at the cheerful energy from one staff Mr.T. He was swift with retrieving the package and upon learning I found the courier fee was too expensive he said "as much as I wanted your business, I'd recommend you to check with Canada Post." If I could give negative 1 star I would. This is the WORST courier service ever. I have been waiting for a month for a package they are holding.... Legitimately saying they "were unable to locate customer" ..... They couldn't find my house. What The F*ck I called lululemon to get the item sent to me work. The GEC girl said "I can guarantee they will send it .... They are unpredictable" My door tag said they would try again and it was a first attempt. But when I called they said they wouldn't. I needed to get a package sent out First Priority International to arrive at the destination in California by the next morning 10AM. Fedex said no problem so I handed it over. Now 4 days later it has still not been delivered and there is no guarantee or even communication on the expected delivery date. I have spoken to numerous agents who all have a slightly different version of what is going on. From the tracking history it looks as if the package went to Memphis for clearing, then went to Ottawa, Ontario, Mirabel, Quebec and then after a really long wait went to Memphis again where it sat for 24 hours. Last word is it was in California, but no one even attempted delivery. I told an agent that I believed the package was lost, but no he said it had been scanned. Another agent said there were technical difficulties - with the plane? I did confirm that Fedex does actually have more than one plane. With the equipment? Another agent said the package didn't go to all of these places it was emails?? The upshot is my fast delivery so business could be continued is still not delivered and this has caused incredible problems and upset and time spent. I am certainly not going to pay for this and won't be using Fedex again in the forseeable future. read more

I wish I could give negative stars. Honestly, the worst and most clueless customer service I have ever experienced. Missed a package delivery (at ubc they only try once before they send it back to richmond for pickup) and called the 1 800 number to get the package moved to the Vancouver office so I could pick it up near my home. Was told that was fine and they would call me when it was available in Vancouver for pickup. Pretty simple. That was 4 days ago. I have since received calls saying that my package can be picked up in Richmond. Finally got through to someone today and after being passed to 4 other people, I was told my package has been waiting in Richmind but can be picked up tomorrow in Vancouver. A 30 minute phone call for a simple request. I have little faith my package will be there tomorrow. Fingers crossed. read more

I ordered some corals and paid 45$ for express overnight delivery due before 12pm. The seller forgot to ship them on Wednesday so they shipped on Thursday and they arrived in Vancouver on the Friday (Oct 2, 2015) FEDEX REFUSED to send them out to me, when I asked why not!? They said there was no buzzer # on my parcel. I went and looked at the fedex email conformation that was sent to me and it showed my full address just fine. I called them back and demanded they bring me my live corals as this is unacceptable, they said I called and had them put on hold! (now I was livid! trying to blame me for their mistake is juvenile and damn right unprofessional) The female manager at the Richmond location (Aylmer) said so sad too bad pick them up yourself! When I asked why no delivery though after confronting them with the conformation email with correct address and then them saying I asked to have my parcel on hold (why would I pay 45$ to pick them up myself, this was a live shipment not a top or pair of shoes to play around with) I got no reply just pick them up yourself. I paid to have them before noon so they would get into my tank faster, they could survive and I could go to work. Now I had to last minute cancel, boss was pretty upset and didn't get the importance of the corals but I do and they could NOT wait till Mondays delivery. I had to bus and train it to go to the fedex location where they were at which is in another city! Absolutely not acceptable I will not be using them again! I didn't even get my money back they said the shipper gets my money since it came from their account, even though I PAID? Shipper said they didn't get the money. read more

Worst service ever! FedEx employee tried delivering the package during the day. Since I was not home, left a note that package can be picked after 5:30 pm. The package had a gift for our son and we were a tad bit excited. After reaching halfway I realized maybe the office is closed. Called FedEx customer care number to enquire until what time the particular branch was open. He wasted 8 minutes but couldn't locate the address in his database. By that time we reached the FedEx office already. The office was open, the employee was serving two customers already but wouldn't serve us. She was screaming at her top of the voice saying she needed to go home. She wouldn't hear what we had to say, asked us to leave, said didn't you see the OPEN board on the door is switched off which means I need to go home! As soon as we stepped out, she banged the door and locked it right on our face! What kind of customer service is this? If she nicely said she wasn't able to fetch our package after office hours and that the office was closed we would have come back anyway. I fail to understand what type of training does FedEx offer to their employees. Front desk employees with such poor behavior are not acceptable. If the employees cannot handle their responsibility with an appropriate demeanor, they might as well look for alternate employment which does not involve facing customers/clients!!!
