I've had a change of heart in this business. While it isn't inexpensive, there have now been a few occasions that the convenience made up for the price. That of course is their business model. I left several page of large (11"x17") documents to be copied on Thursday and was told they would be done by Friday. When I picked them up on Sunday I was told they were not able to make the copies because they did not have that size paper. My cell number was listed clearly on the order. No one called to tell me this and the two employees who handled it on Sunday need training in how to talk to people. There was no apology offered and when I said that was the least they out do they said "Have a nice day" and waited on the people next in line. There were explaining how someone else had or hadn't done something, typical bs stories. Complete rudeness on top of terrible service. This place was my go to sometime ago since they provided great service. That clearly has changed. I needed these documents for a client presentation and will have to find someplace else. It was a disappointment, and had they called me earlier or eve apologized n Sunday I would not have written this review. Thanks to the pandemic and teleworking, I have become quite a FedEx connoisseur. I have been to many different locations in Arlington/Falls Church, and this location is the worst. There were two people on staff, but only one of them was actually working and assisting customers. The supplies kiosk was empty, and the guy who wasn't working seemed annoyed that I needed two envelopes. He literally slammed them on the counter and walked away before I could even thank him Given the surly staff and the fact that this particular location isn't easily accessible, I see no point in returning. read more

Ran in to drop off a package and the employee who helped me (and was only a few feet away when at the register) had her mask below her nose and mouth the whole time. I'm assuming management isn't checking on or enforcing employees safety compliance. Very disappointing and also worrisome as I'm immune compromised. read more

Well, I just went here for the last time. It's very close to my work and therefore accommodating in that sense, but I am never again going to put myself through such torture, ever again. First off, the people working here have ZERO customer service skills. Never once have I gotten a greeting, or a "Gee you've been standing in line patiently for 15 minutes, can I help you?" The general rule of thumb here is: Fend for yourself. If you need help, good freaking luck. Just left there trying to print 10 business cards. Was going to cost $65. No joke. Ask them yourself. So the lady, who was infuriating every single person that came in because she's not only unresponsive but not even remotely accommodating, said $65. I asked, may I have two sheets of card stock and just print it on the printer then, and double side it? And she said no, that I would have to buy a package of card stock. At this point, you give the 2 sheets of card stock (which costs Kinko's under $0.01) for free. Forget protocol. Kinko's is a dinosaur of a company, so behind the times it's not even funny, and the people working there are the worst of the worst. I will also be contacting corporate because NOT ONCE have I been into this location and seen smooth sailing. It constantly looks like an overrun pirate ship, manned by a bunch of lifeless zombies who's sole task is to stay at the back of the building, as far away from the customers as humanly possible. I shoulda known this place would suck when I first entered on Friday (1/17) and overheard two employees joking about how they'd missed another FEDEX dropoff time with a 'who cares' attitude - even smiling about it right in front of me. I saw the canvas portraits on the wall, though, and so I ordered one. I provided the pic and asked how long it would take to make an 11× 11× canvas portrait. The employee informed me he would do it in-store himself on Monday, and that I could pick it up on Tuesday. I came back Tuesday afternoon, and the guy had not made it yet.. he pretended he'd told me (on Friday) that it wouldn't be ready for pick up until 4pm Tuesday. I came back Wednesday at 1:02pm and spent the next 7 minutes just waiting for one of the employees to come out of the backroom (I could here them back there giggling and stuff.. completely ignoring the door chime as several other customers entered & exited the store). Finally an employee came out and showed me the canvas portrait.. it was aweful.. looked nothing like the items on display on the wall.. the corners were frayed and looked like an elementary student cut them out and glued them with Elmers.. the items on display clearly showed a much higher standard.. I refused to accept such poor quality work and asked to speak with the store manager.. this is when I discovered the guy who made the canvas WAS in fact the store manager. Such a shame.. I know this level of service is not the FEDEX standard. read more

Dog Lover? Don't go here. The woman that works on Sunday lately is very very nasty. I have dropped packages at this FedEx for my son in college on quiet Sunday mornings. Today? Snapped at me "no dogs allowed tie him up outside". I asked for a piece of paper to write mine and shipping address to shorten the time outside. She ignored me. I looked around for something to write on and a pen. I found something and before i could pick up the paper again "no dogs allowed tie him up outside". I understand if there is a rule but there is no reason to be so incredibly rude. FedEx...this old gripe needs a job at DMV or Fed Gov. not a private company. The staff is not well-trained. I did the right thing and asked in advance about shipping an international package and the employee (male) told me it would be no problem to get a discounted rate on that shipment but two days later when I had the package in hand a different employee (female) said it was impossible without hundreds of dollars in extra cost. When informed that I was just told otherwise by a guy working there she just said that guy didn't know what he was talking about... Ok, but that cost me $70 to return a package they couldn't ship! Until this morning when I needed them, I didn't even know they were here. Now I'll never forget them. From the moment I first called, Jesse was responsive and helpful, friendly and efficient. He did beautiful work, he did it fast, and everything was ready exactly when it was promised. Jesse is obviously someone who takes pride in his work, and he deserves to. He also recognized the domain name of my work email and that it attached to our corporate account, which I had forgotten existed, and granted a $14 discount to the order. His thoughtful efforts showed he was committed -- not just to getting me the best product in a timely manner, but to getting it all for the best price. I hope to return next time with a little more advance notice, but it's great to know that should a last minute need arise, Jesse's got my back. read more

Sadly, I agree with the others. Jesse is first rate and has been helpful to me on so many other occasions. However, the woman who shall remain nameless (she is named in other reviews) was so rude last time I was there--in the fall, when Jesse was on vacation for two weeks--that I now won't send a print order there or walk in the door. She was on a personal call and kept talking for five minutes after I arrived one Sunday morning. I asked her for help in printing some cards in the same way Jesse had helped me in the past. She told me it was impossible. I said Jesse had done it. She went back and sat down and got on her personal call again. I went back up and interrupted her and asked her if she couldn't check with another store. She sighed, told her friend she'd call back and called another store and said, virtually verbatim, "Some woman is in here who says she should be able to print cards this way but she can't, right?" I am posting this this morning because I have about $100 in copying that I will be taking elsewhere. read more

Hear me out guys and stay away from this place unless you really need it:) This was the worst customer service I've ever received in the US. I needed assistance with copy machine as I had bunch of original documents that needed to be copy or scanned and printed out. Copy machine wouldn't respond to a start button and I asked for a help. A woman named Ashley I think, told me she can do it for me, then she takes OFFICIAL notarized translation of my document attached to a photocopy of document (which I paid for) and rips it apart in front of my eyes. I was speechless, like what just happened??? She only says "Shit" without even apologizing. And then she adds "but this was not originals, right?" I mean ..this was an original translation attached to a copy of document that I need to submit to an evaluation company for official transcripts. Like seriously??? She made a lousy copies of the rest of the documents - some of them were double-sided and she only made copies of one side. In general, she treated documents not the way anybody would like their original documents be treated. At the end, she made good color copies of the rest docs, but overall her performance was beyond unprofessional and I would say with an attitude, like she didn't want to help but she had to so made a lousy job. It's my second visit to this Fedex, and I never felt like anybody really is there to help me, but today especially. read more

Brad, the Yelp poster from 20 days ago, speaks the truth: Stay far, far away from this Fedex location. A rating option of "negative 10 stars" would be perfect for the torture that my husband and I endured this evening at the hands of Pat and her younger female co-worker (who Pat appeared to be training in her very likeness). Not only were they woefully unknowledgeable about Fedex shipping services, but they were unbelievably rude and unprofessional. I have tried to endure the service at this location for over a year (shout-out to Jessy who is a true professional), but tonight was the last straw. Not only did I receive horrific service, but I also witnessed the employees' behavior during two other customer transactions which left me speechless. After I left this location in disgust tonight, I was tempted to give up on FedEx altogether, but I am glad that I did not. Instead, I drove to the Courthouse location (2300 Clarendon Blvd) where I was greeted by a smiling Mychel who went out of her way to help me and found a mailing solution which cost 3x less than what Pat and her colleague were proposing. Note to FedEx: Please look into the problems at the Fairfax Drive location. The store has been neglected far too long and desperately needs your attention. Your customers deserve better. read more
