This store wanted to charge me 9$ to buy their box and 300$ to send 8lb 6oz of contents packed in said box. The package was going to Fort Worth Texas and there were no hazardous, fragile, or perishable products....just gifts. I was sending it 5 days before Christmas with no promise for arrival by Christmas. I understand it's the holidays, and mailing is more pricey. But this is ridiculous and a sad example of price gouging. I went to the closest US post office and was charged $33.65 for priority mail. The package arrived by Christmas. Come on folks....a 10x mark up????? No way will I go to this store again or recommend to anyone. read more

I have used this UPS location multiple times and was shocked to receive the service myself and my mother had today. We went in to drop off a package, already labeled, for my sister who owns a law firm. She has used this location for the past 2 years to ship items in a standard envelope with a shipping label. There has never been an issue. Today, we walked in to at least 5 people hanging out behind the counter. We attempted to drop off the envelope to which an individual named, "Charlie,"snapped that they don't accept packages in the mailer we've used weekly for the last 2 years to mail items. There was no apology for any misunderstanding and she proceeded to tell my mother she had an attitude when she tried to explain that we have done the same thing for 2 years with no issue. From that point as Charlie escalated, I asked to speak to the manager at which point we were told there was no manager. We finally had Charlie call the manager, named Kat, which prior to doing so she rudely said the manager will just tell us the same thing. Charlie then called the manager using her personal cell phone and then refused to give me her phone to talk to the manager directly. I asked if we could instead use the business line to call "Kat" and she said we could not because it was the managers personal phone line we were calling. At that point, another employee, Tia, intervened. She was highly professional and agreed that she would like to de-escalate the problem and that it was unprofessional for Charlie to use her personal cell to call the manager. We appreciate Tia's professionalism in this situation; however, Charlie should absolutely not be working in customer service and especially not at this UPS store. The treatment we received was horrible and at this point I am wondering if Charlie even called a "manager" or if it was just a friend of hers on the other line since we couldn't speak directly. I will make sure to raise this concern up the corporate ladder to ensure that nobody else receives treatment like this from Charlie at this UPS location. read more

I left a corporate recognition nomination on the UPS site but I just have to leave a review here for the public to see!! I had an extremely pleasant experience with one of their staff today. The associate's name was Mon'a and she was BEYOND helpful! I had an Amazon return to complete and it was a BIG order. Mon'a was super helpful and kind with getting the return processed!! She helped pack everything into an appropriate box size and made the return process super easy for me. She really didn't have to do all of that, but I appreciate that act of kindness! I was initially afraid to come into the store to do an Amazon return because I didn't have a box. And this one time I went to FedEx for an online return (non-Amazon), they gave me so much sas & krap for not taping up the box! I explained that I didn't have any at home and they said I should buy some next time and they even threatened to charge me for tape usage at their store. That FedEx experience was so traumatizing that I was afraid to come into a mailing office again! But Mon'a really changed that perspective for me. I felt confident to come back to this store again for future shipping services because she was so helpful! Unfortunately your staff is not very well aware to give me these options. Your staff even accidentally wrapped the document without fully securing the envelope is closed. I was not made aware otherwise or given the option to have USPS vs UPS. In my defense, it has been 16 days and the last time I checked it is still under the US customs. And may I correct you, I did not choose the cheapest option for this delivery given the importance of the document. Rest assured I will deal with my credit card and still get the refund. I have done business with your store in the past and I did not have any issues. This is the first time this has ever happened. Appalling business practices. I brought an Amazon package to this UPS store and was told Amazon boxes are not authorized to ship since UPS has different packaging standards so I'd have to pay $25 to use one of their boxes instead. They told me Amazon is aware of this standard and Amazon is failing it's customers, not UPS. I called Amazon and they are sending a UPS truck to my house to pick up the package instead. I filed a complaint about this UPS with Amazon so they are aware their customers are being baited in to paying repackaging fees even though Amazon has already paid for the return and their original Amazon box should be acceptable. I'll never use this UPS store again and I feel bad for the employees who have to break this news to customers. read more

Very bad second experience at this store. This is the nearest store by my apartment. But I haven't been back about several years after the first time horrible experience. This time I choose to trust the store again. I was wrong and shouldn't use their service anymore. This time they created a wrong shipping label and cause so many chaos. The manager has a good attitude to admit it their mistakes and sending back a new label to me. However, this is not the problem of wrong labels; it just so annoying and unprofessional. As a post office, you should train your employees the most important, necessary and basic skills to process the service.....it's not hard science it's just the basics skills to provide the service... While I am writing this review, my packages status is still unknown... I will never back to this store and use their services. They ruined my trust read more

I never write reviews for anything but in this case i have to mention that this store has a very dishonest practice of scamming people out of bogus charges. This store #6199 scammed me out of $35 for an Amazon QR code return. I have reported this to Amazon and they reimbursed me the amazon charge and will be looking into the reason why I was not only charged for packaging but also packing services (which is covered by Amazon to begin with). I would recommend going to another UPS store or just going to Wholefoods to return in person. If they try to charge you for something, just go to a different location. While I support small business and independently owned franchises, I will not stay silent when one knowningly scams customers with bogus charges. read more

I've been here numerous times and have always had an A-OK experience. I've both walked here and driven here, and I do recommend walking if you can due to limited parking in the area. I've usually interacted with the same worker each time, and he's always been friendly and helpful. The location is great since the USPS is a couple of doors down and sometimes they are often cheaper if you can ship through them. There's always a line, which is kind of annoying, regardless of what time you visit, so if you do drive and park, make sure to pay the meter and don't just expect to be in and out. read more

Customer service review: The associate who helped me today was great! I went in to buy packing peanuts, but didn't need that much. The bag was huge and I couldn't decide what to do. The associate offered to help with the package and so I brought it in. He noticed I had an item that needed bubble wrap, so he wrapped that up and then filled and taped the box. It was super helpful! He didn't need to do all of that- he could've just sold me the big bag and sent me on my way. I will certainly go back to this location in the future for my packing needs. read more

My Items was stolen at this location. Make sure your box is sealed prior to dropping off at this location. There are thieves here that will still anything they can get their hands on! I went to this UPS Store because its near my job to return some clothes to a clothing store. They were kind of busy so the customer service guy weight my item and told me don't worry he will seal it and ship it out. I thought everything was done on my part until I received an email from the clothing store that only 1 of my 4 items was received. I told them to re-check; they did and told me to submit a claim. Long story short the items went missing in the UPS store before they made it to the company I was shipping it to. The company refunded me the money, which is why I still shop at the company. I no longer go to this UPS store, I will go out of my way before going here. I hate thieves with a passion and to smile in my face and take my merchandise is just disgraceful.
