Love this FedEx office and use them often for small and larger print jobs. Everyone has always been friendly, helpful and professional.

I was passing through on my way to an important meeting when I realized that my usb drive with the information I needed for the meeting was corrupted and I had l left my backup drive back at my office in California, so panicked, I looked for any copy/business store open on Sunday to see if I could get my files sent from California to Billings the same day so I could have the information first thing Monday morning. I quickly realized that Billings was so small, that all of the UPS stores were closed on Sunday and the only store like this open was one FedEx Office and Copy Store in downtown Billings. I went there and pleaded with the one very nice employee there if I could have a file sent electronically to their store. Her name was Winter and even though she was unfamiliar with doing this type of transaction, she instantly started calling her boss to find out how to do what I was asking. Within 30 minutes, Winter had the solution, calling the FedEx Office in California and having them send the file to the store in Billings for me to pick up and transfer to a usb drive so I could use for my meeting on Monday. I can say without a doubt that Winter and the Billings, MT. FedEx Office and Copy Store saved my meeting and I was able to successfully present from the file they transferred from the California store. Thank you Winter for all of your help!!! read more

Five stars of course, best Fedex in billings town. Welcoming, honest, respectful and helpful customer service! I'm a foreign exchange student and I tend to go there a lot to send stuff to my family back home so things get complicated coz they have different mailing address and we don't have zip cods and they always help me and try to understand what I need. This FedEx Office wrongfully accepts packages addressed to the business next door, and then returns them to sender. The business next door is Mail Drop, which rents out mail boxes. This means that Mail Drop's customers (of which I am one) often do not receive their packages. This has been an ongoing problem for years, and the FedEx Office refuses to do anything about it. Some of Mail Drop's customers receive their medication by mail from the VA or pharmacies assigned by insurance. I am concerned that one day this FedEx Office will return a Mail Drop customer's critical medicine to sender, and will cause injury or death due to deprivation of necessary medicine. If that happens, I will be happy to testify against FedEx Office, as to the number of times they wrongfully accepted my packages, returned them to sender, wasted my time and money, and refused to take steps to remedy the situation. read more

I went in with a big do-it-yourself photocopying job a couple days.ago Two of their three machines wouldn't work. After their employee couldn't figure out what was wrong, she called the manager (Marla) over. Marla insisted that it was just taking time to transfer my PDF document from my thumb drive to the printer. After waiting 7.5 minutes for a single page document to transfer, I asked her to come over. She pulled out paper trays, pushed a bunch of buttons within the review screen, hit the cancel button and finally got the page to print. I asked if she could stay with me for one more page to make sure it worked (because I had no idea what combination of buttons and tricks she had used to make it work) and she said "No I can't...you can figure it out" WOW! Unbelievably rude, unprofessional and absurd. Her equipment wasn't working, her employee admitted that the equipment wasn't working, yet she refused to help. I went to Econoprint where they were not only really nice, but did the entire job for me (I didn't have to use the self-serve photocopiers) for a fraction of what it would have cost me at Fedex. Marla should be fired. Raging unpleasant human being. read more

I was VERY disappointed and even disgusted with the poor customer service and blatant disrespect I encountered from Mike Nitzel at this FedEx. I arrived with two of my colleagues on our way to the airport to drop off a few boxes. We were greeted by a young woman who offered to help us pack our flip charts. While she went to the back, my male colleague and I began to tape up four boxes to be shipped, while my female colleague stood in the shipping line. There were 2 other customers ahead of her. When we finished taping, I joined her in the queue. Marla was helping a customer two spots ahead of us, and as soon as I joined my female colleague, Mike Nitzel (white blonde, short hair) spoke over the two customers in front of us and asked if he could 'help you ladies'. I explained that we were waiting to process our boxes. He disdainfully said "those need to be 'H-taped' and you need to go to the computers to print out your labels". My male colleague and I had a quick discussion about what he meant by "H-taped", and then my female colleague and I went over to the 2 computers only to discover that there was already a distraught customer who was struggling with the computers. She said 'neither one of them is working'. So, we got back in line. Again, Mike asked us what the problem was. We explained that the computers were down. He said, "You'll just have to go over there and wait your turn." I said again that the computers were down and asked if Marla could look up our account number. He said, "No, you'll just have to wait for a computer". I explained that we were on our way to the airport and would just go through the regular process once Marla was available. He said, "You can't get the discount without your account number." I explained that if the computers were down, and Marla could not look up our account number, there was really no option. He huffed, walked over to us and threw 3 order slips down directing us to fill those out before getting back into line. I couldn't figure out why we were such a cause of concern for him, and why he would not help us himself as I watched him help two other women who had come in after us fill out forms and process their shipments while we were filling out our forms. At that point I looked around and realized myself and my male colleague were the only two people of color in the store (he Asian and me Native American), and while I made an effort to treat the staff there with respect and professionalism, I felt that I received particularly poor treatment when I was just trying to access shipping services. Marla seemed perturbed by his treatment of us and made an effort to look up our account to no avail. She explained that the discount was not really that much and thanked us for our patience. I would recommend that FedEx work with him on his approach. We will not be patronizing FedEx as our first choice any longer though we have several major events and shipments throughout the year. read more

Carol is awesome! I left my purse on a plane, and it ended up in Billings (I am in Seattle). Well the airline (United) was off the hook to help me in anyway since it was my mistake. They said I could come pick it up whenever I was ready. I then called this office hoping there might be a pickup service I could arrange or something. There wasn't really a service, but Carol was willing to go grab my purse and bring it back to be overnighted when she was able to leave the office. I am so thankful that she was willing to go the extra mile. I am not sure why the office has so many poor reviews, but I wanted to make sure that it was known that Carol (Perhaps a recent addition?) provides amazing customer service. read more

On a scale of one to ten. A big zero. Horrible service. The best employee was the guy in training. Manager was awful. Never again. I'll drive ten miles to the other location. read more
