Nowhere near the best FedEx location. So disorganized that more than half of the time I've come to grab things they've taken 5-10 minutes to look for them on shelves with them initially coming back saying that they can't find it before looking again. Manage once told us to "move the car because our trucks will need to park out front" since we parked in front of the store for what is usually a less than two-minute pickup at any other location. We decided not to move because it made no sense & there was plenty of space out front so even telling us to move was ridiculous. Case in point...we ending up finishing what we needed to do & were out the door within a few minutes after she told us to move. It would've taken MUCH longer to move the car! Edit 10-25-2023: Stopped by and as usual no one ready to help. There was only the manager and another employee that she seemed to be training. I never understand why they're always training someone everytime I stop by. Is the turnover that high? Told them I was there to pick up packages and they completely ignored me. I had a really great experience here! I had to get a huge poster printed with only a 24 hour notice and this FedEx got it done, no problem. The employee who worked with me, Alexis, was extremely helpful and provided absolutely phenomenal customer service. He showed me all the different kinds of paper I could print my poster on and was very clear about what the process would look like. He didn't mind taking an extra couple minutes to make sure I felt confident about my order! My poster (about 4' x 3') turned out beautiful and had the high quality resolution I was hoping for. This location needs improved routine maintenance and repair of its self-service computers and printers. I came in this week to print a document and the printer was down. A couple weeks before that, their computer froze on me. On a couple occasions previous to all this, I encountered times when their sole self-service printer was down. I read the negative reviews and am surprised as I found the service top-notch. I was in today for self-service copy use and package drop-off. As the system to receive packages via the USPS was down (on the USPS side, not the FedX side), Jessica stated she would call me when the intake system was back up and she could log my package for processing and shipment. She did not reject the package which was a huge relief as I would not have been able to return for several days. Super nice of her! When I asked about self-service copier use she instructed me, step-by-step, how to use it and very kindly (and graciously!) pointed out my operational mistakes. When one document wouldn't print she offered to take it and print it on one of the behind-the-counter machines. Worked great! This is an excellent FedEx location. I've come here for years, since it was a Kinko's. I've never had a problem. This location really knows how to work with a costumer.   The staff was amazing and super helpful.   They really worked with me to make sure that I was taken care of.   Everything was perfect and ready when I needed. The sale person was a joy to work with and much appreciated.   I was totally impressed. I came here on a weekday around 4pm and the store was busy but the line moved quickly. There are markers on the floor to let you know where to stand to keep a safe distance from the person in line in front of you. The store is separated in a few different sections: printing, packaging and fax. There are drop off boxes located in multiple areas in the store to make it easy for you to just drop and go. I had a pre-paid printed label and was looking for envelopes to place my documents so I could drop and go but could not find any printed Fedex envelopes anywhere. Turns out they are behind the counter and you need an employee to hand it to you. The lady that served me was pleasant, printed out a new label for me, and provided me a confirmation receipt. The location is in a strip mall so parking is easy and free. I would definitely come back here. read more

As someone who ships frequently for my business, I walked into this location only to have to deal with an employee named Marcel that was partially rude. He seemed annoyed at his task or his job, making our transaction an uncomfortable one. He was irritated that I asked him to spell my name correctly on the label and update my shippers address. He also threw my box to the ground before tapping it up. WTF? I don't understand why he was so disgruntled and/rude. I guess he's having a bad day or dislikes his job, neither merit his behavior. I ordered three posters, two the same size and one that was a bit smaller. Also they have good deals sometimes and I had 25% off posters after checking online. They outsource their printing for these larger sized posters, which means receiving it was a bit of a pain even though I chose a window of time to pick up the item. When they were received, a crewmember found that a poster had been printed poorly and she would ask them to print a new one. Luckily, I was able to work with Te Angel who was very courteous and proactive by calling me back when things were ready to pick up. When I went to pick up the items, they weren't to the size I wanted and still had whitespace. The team cut it even further for me before I left. It worked out fine for what I needed. A couple years ago I stopped going to this location (1242 Canal St) because I found the staff not competent in the areas needed for the position nor customer focused. I started coming back a couple months ago and have been so pleased with the turn around. Raines (sp?) is the employee who generally has taken care of me. She is pleasant, patient, offers reasonable options and is very clear in communicating. She also works efficiently - fast, but not too hasty. If you need anything important done, avoid this location. Chances are, you'll have to come here several times, and your order will be finished late. I needed spiral-bound board presentation books made, and this didn't get done on time because their printers were not working (?!?!?!). After several calls between our office and their project manager, my colleague and I went to the location to make sure everything was in order. We were told that the binder tabs couldn't be printed at this location (due to the broken printer?) and I had to wait for the printed tabs to be dropped off from another print center - 2+ hours stranded in a strip mall is not very fun. After all this, when I mentioned how late this work was done and that we should receive a discount, I was told there was already one applied - the one from our business account. Wow, thanks? No additional discounts for not getting work done on time, or inconvenience to the customer. read more

So I came here on a Friday morning with a line of 6 people and one sales personnel when I walked in the door. He moved like molasses and took the time to answer the phone each time it rang! This wasn't my first time there and I'm not amazed. The customer service is bare minimum doing the job when they feel needed. My first experience was a laminating job being messed up... This place is AWFUL. Had a business school project due the next day, popped by here the night before to get things printed out in color. Color printer kept jamming. Asked the one guy who was working there for help, he came by, took a look and just walked away. I asked, "So what should I do?" as he's walking away? He turned around and said that I'll just have to print black and white. By then, I had sent through a bunch of print jobs that didn't print. So I went to the kiosk to print my receipt to show the one guy working there to get a refund on all those that weren't. The guy informed that I was unable to get a refund b/c I had already printed out the receipt and he coudn't help me. I asked, again, "So what do I do now?" I am dedicating this review to Joel. Before I interacted with Joel, I, too, would have disparaged Kinko's, err, FedEx Office. There were print jobs gone awry, surly service, and regular, all-around problems. Then there was Joel. Joel is the epitome of customer service. Not only is he helpful, but also he is thorough and kind. Joel makes everything a-okay at Kinko's - damn - FedEx Office. How, you ask? Let me count the ways: 1. He smiles and says, 'Hello. Can I help you?' in a way that makes me think he actually does want to help. 2. He sometimes remembers my name or at least recognizes my face and asks me how I am doing. (Normally I am in a frenzy if I am getting copies done at Kin...FedEx Office. 3. He calls me to make sure that the copy order is correct when I send in an email order. 4. He re-positions stuff that I threw together quickly and sent along to get done RIGHT NOW! 5. If I say I need it by 1p, he has it ready by 1p. 6. He knows that I will have a tax-exempt form so he has the discount ready to go when I present the form. 7. He creates an example copy to make sure that it is up to par. And, doesn't get frustrated with my poor graphic design skills or the time it takes for me to fix the stupid mistakes I've made. Overall, I really like this location because of Joel and the convenience. There is a parking lot in front because it's in a strip mall, but it is unusually full pretty much all of the time...weird. Now, I have only used the print ordering and not the copy machines so I can't comment on the machines. I have shipped from here too and that has seemed to work out fine although I think it would be hard to mess that up...but you never know. The moral of the story: ask for Joel. They are some of the slowest non-efficient FedEx workers I've seen... Never going there again.

Three out of five times here I was here for last minute prints jobs I had nothing but professional, efficient and friendly services; those were the times when the Kinkos manager James were present. If you have non-generic print jobs, make sure he handles your case personally. As a rule of thumb, tell them to inform you every time they are going to charge you something (ie sometimes they charge for test prints, sturdy back pages, etc. sometimes they don't), that way there are no surprises when you pay. read more

Horrible customer service and unprofessional. I was in the store last week to get a photo enlarged and printed. It took 40 minutes for them to upload my photo and resize it to just get me a QUOTE! Ultimately the quote came in $18 more expensive than Staples down the street so I took my business there. I will never go back to this Kinkos/FedEx. It was a complete waste of time. They are open 24 hours and thats what saves them. Last minute projects get printed here. And whenever a printer jams, DO NOT ask for help. Just follow directions on the copier and fix it yourself. It will suck otherwise. People are pretty incopetent. I wanted some flyers cut in 4. It turned into disaster. But the 24 hours and semi-working copiers is what I use it for. And it's in the area. This place saved my ass halloween night, kinko's 90 cent/sq foot black and white plotter printer rules. The sikh dude who used to work here was awesome and helped me avoid some undue police harassment, as well as helping me with a print job his coworker couldn't figure out. Kinko's employees are the last people you want to trust your serious print job to but for simple print jobs a 24 hour joint is great. read more

The workers aren't the nicest people I've ever met... however the computer and printers work so I get in and out with what I need.

I've had two great experiences here in the last two weeks. Both times involved printing out spiral bound copies of a law school project and both times I received (1) helpful service and (2) an on-target product with no errors. For the first project, we were helped by the overnight guy, Donahue (I think that was his name), and he was absolutely bomb. Friendly and would even help me spot errors in my order to make sure I was not overpaying. Couldn't expect too much more from a 24-hr copy shop. Only downside was the slightly high prices. But not sure that can be changed. read more
