The wait was unreasonable for an early Tuesday afternoon. I waited patiently as one associate worked with one patron for over 15 minutes and the other staff member tapped away on his computer as the line grew to five people deep. I don't know what the secondary associate was actually doing, but it appeared as if he was avoiding customers purposely. When he finally saw fit to address the line, I was next. And as it turned out, that was not a good thing. I had a simple, prepaid drop off. Just scan the code on my phone, easy peasy, right? Wrong! Not here and Not today. Even with the code and reference number it still took him about 15 minutes to find and then process my order. I understand that he has to be thorough, but there has to a quicker way when all the information, shipping and return addresses as well as payments have been included previously. Yes, certainly the store was clean with a good parking lot. They offer options for any shipping services that you need. Fed Ex supplies free branded envelopes (which is something that UPS charges for). It is true, all of that is great. But it boils down to the fact that this simple drop off took me about 45 minutes! I usually receive faster and more efficient service at the post office, UPS and DHL. read more

Roaches! Omg this Fed- Ex must be filthy! While standing at the counter a roach was crawling all over the counter. The person working seemed very comfortable with it and un-effected. I was there to help a family member send some packages. This place is nestled between restaurants. So if they are in Fed-ex they are more and likely in those restaurants on each side of it. Ewwww! It is impossible to get a person on the phone at any FedEx office. It does not matter which phone# I use, I get the same automated answering service with no help. It does not matter if I call the national number or the local location nearest me. I get the same automated response. This is absolutely the most HORRIBLE customer service experience I have ever had in 50 years. I have now spent 7 hours trying to get a person on the phone. UPDATE: I finally got a person on the phone. I spent an hour trying to get through to her with no resolution. I have called a total of 7 phone #'s, written 6 emails which are non-delivery, used their Virtual Assistant, sent YELP reviews, sent 3 FedEx Survey Reviews, ALL to no avail. UPDATE#2: After more than 7 hours of trying to get a 'human' being (emphasis added) on the phone, it finally happened. FedEx Ground, Concord, NC: After going through all the details of my problem for the umpteenth time, the guy on the phone told me it was not FedEx's problem. The problem was the shipper's fault. I could not believe it. How arrogant. Even though the FedEx driver dropped off the package at someone else's house, FedEx took no responsibility for their mistake and then blamed the company I purchased the merchandise from. From now on, when I purchase anything to be shipped, if the company uses FedEx as the shipper, I will not buy from that company. I looked up complaints against FedEx, with one website having over 8000 complaints!!! read more

Staff are rude and disorganized at this location. Expect an extra looooong wait if you need to make a shipment. On top of that, an item that I shipped failed to reach its destination due to someone (assuming staff here, apparently!) inputting an incorrect address. I have been to several FedEx Kinkos locations throughout the Charlotte area. As a small business owner,​ we use their printing and shipping services on a regular basis. This location has nailed customer service. Each time I have called or visited this location the employees go above and beyond to take care of our needs. The two employees who have provided stellar customer service is Tish and Chondra. I needed to have documents printed and bound to ship the same day and they made sure that everything was done in a timely manner. I highly recommend this location.
