If you live in Golden, do not get anything delivered by FedEx. The drivers out of this "Station" regularly skip making deliveries that require signatures, saying you weren't there, so they don't have to get out of the truck. I stay awake for hours (I work graveyard) waiting to sign for my refrigerated medicine, just to get a text saying the delivery was attempted. I've been sitting 3 feet from the door for 4 hours waiting for it, then look out the window to see the driver driving away. No door tag, obviously, since no attempt is made. Multiple calls to complain to FedEx don't accomplish anything, and I can't use a different carrier because the only pharmacy that ships my medicine only uses FedEx. I've lived in Golden 8 months, in 8 deliveries, 5 have been listed as "attempted to deliver", no attempt was made any of those times. Twice on a Friday, causing my express refrigerated medicine to go bad over the weekend. If your having any kind of important medicine delivered, these FedEx drivers might just kill you. Stay away from this store, too. If this is the "Station" as the FedEx customer service states, maybe losing business over their drivers unreliability (Amazon THIRD PARTY drivers have never done this), will actually make them do something about it. read more

The FedEx team member Jacquelyn was exceptionally patient and helpful and friendly digging out information and helping me decide how best to ship. I felt guilty taking a lot of extra time by deciding to do it one way and another, changing my mind a couple of times. She was always patient and good natured and solved all problems. This was the worst customer service experience I have ever had. Their printer at their printing station was broken and printed the pages I needed with parts missing (ink and alignment was messed up). When I asked for a refund the manager (I think Anna) said I needed a receipt for a refund. The station didn't print me receipt. I had to wait 20 minutes until she figured out how to get me a receipt. Once I finally got a receipt she said she would only refund me for the printing, not the online time I paid for (which the only reason I was online was to print documents). She also refused to give me back my confidential bank documents. I also have not received my refund for this fiasco. She was also super rude and condescending. I will never step foot in here ever again. read more

I'm devastated that FedEx ruined the shipment of my baby news announcement to my best friends in California. We had wanted to surprise our friends with handmade mugs with labels saying "you're an aunt!" or "you're an uncle!" Each mug was in separate boxes labeled to the individual friends. Not only did they ruin the surprise by writing what was inside the box on the front of the package, they unwrapped the separate boxes, making it impossible for friends to know whose gift was whose. One of them was shipped to the wrong address and never delivered to 3 of our friends. What a heart wrenching mistake during the holidays and a time when we can't be with our loved ones because of covid. I'm extremely disappointed. read more

I made a very simple shipment from this location. It never got to where it was going. A week after shipping I found out it was lost, either at this location or the place it was going next. I went back to this shop to get answers. They called Fedex and assured me Fedex would created a claim and would reach out to me. That apparently never happened. DO NOT USE THIS STORE!! THE SLOWEST WIFI AND INTERNET, which slows downloads and the service you will receive. Yes, the people there are nice. However I was told my project would take 30 more minutes to download. Apparently their Internet is shared with the corporate office which is in the same building, when I asked to speak with someone in corporate, the women was so unwilling to be proactive it was sad, just sad. The corporate wheels are apparently moving SO slowly that Kinkos seems to be losing their umfph they once had. Excellent service! I had a mishap with printing a large poster at work and these guys saved me. They were very helpful from the beginning in making sure I'd get my poster on time. The only reason I took a star away is because they accidentally printed the wrong size but when they realized their mistake they printed out the correct size and gave me a discount and I got a second copy of the poster. All Mines graduate students, I highly recommend printing here! They even have a Mines tax free discount. They are open late too (until 11pm) for all those last minute prints. read more

And I thought the post office was bad. The staff here did not even make an attempt to be friendly. I asked the guy ringing me up to wrap my item in a little bubble wrap before it went in the package. He did so, without informing me that it would cost an additional $4, which I was surprised by when I went to pay. I've been to these centers all across the country. This is one of the friendliest staffed FedEx store that I've ever stepped foot in. Even when the lines are long, they work efficiently and address the people waiting. Numerous locations see these lines and start their break rotation....not here. I had a large black and white print to get and the file was having troubles. The printer was somehow reading extra marks in the file and so the gal working there took extra time to figure it out. It wasn't their fault, there was an issue with my file, but they took the time to sort it out and get my print clean. I would have put a 5 star but they forgot to call me back so it took an extra day to get my print back. However they were very helpful and I got exactly what I needed! read more

Warning: the following has happened to me at other Fedex Office locations and it may be a tactic that Fedex corporate requires of local stores. The other day, I received a package FROM FEDEX with two chairs that I bought online. I didn't like the color so as soon as I got a return authorization, I packed them right back up in the original box which was in the same condition as when I received it. When I brought the package into this location, I was told the box wasn't strong enough and I would have to repack it. Of course, they would do it for a large fee. I walked out and took my box to another location where it was accepted. Beware of this pricey scam and if they require repacking, do it yourself. read more

I honestly still don't understand what happened here. I arrived to ship skis (which I've never done before) with the skis in a bag and my pre printed label. I was planning to buy packing tape to secure the label to the bag but they provided me with not only tape but a secure way to attach my label to my bag. And this all took 30 seconds. Dropped a package off today, but the lady who took the package in was rude and hostile because she asked what was in the box and she was told equipment parts. She said she needed more information and rudely asked if I had heard of the Texas bombing. I guess a bombing in Texas gives Fedex the right to be rude and nasty to clients. Not For Passport Photos! Normally I've been very happy with services at this FedEx Office location. Today I took a bit of extra care with my hair and makeup, put on a favorite white shirt, and went in for a passport photo while on my lunch break. The two women working there (sorry, I didn't get their names) flat out refused to take my photo, claiming that I couldn't be wearing a white shirt. They offered to bring out a tacky black sweater from the back for me to wear and then they'd take it. No, I wanted this white shirt, just like my passport photo from 10 years ago where I was wearing a white shirt. They simply wouldn't do it. I left and went to the nearby post office, but they only do passport photos by appointment. I then went to Walgreens and finally got my photo, but was flustered by that time and late getting back to work from my lunch break. An unusual amount of hassle just because they claimed (completely falsely) that white shirts are not acceptable in passport photos. (The official government passport website even shows an example acceptable photo of a man in a white shirt.) read more

I will never ship with Fed Ex again or use the Golden Fed Ex location. I went in and shipped a package internationally from this Fed Ex in Golden on December 16th. After the woman entered all of the information in her computer, she then told me it couldn't be processed online and I would have to fill out paperwork. My package is still sitting in Toledo, OH and will not be delivered to my family in Canada until next Tuesday. I was on the phone for another 30 minutes to get the package released to be delivered next Tuesday because they said the value and description of the items was not specified. I thought that was why I filled out the paperwork which included all of that information. I then had to send an email to the Toledo site to specify again the value and description of the items. All this to say I gave the Golden Fed Ex $26 for shipping and then more money to box everything up. My family that has been in Canada is no longer there and back in the states. They will not get these items until February when they return. Super disappointing and horrible customer service overall with Fed Ex over the phone. read more
