I went to this location to complete LiveScan fingerprinting services. The employee spent the entire time I was there watching a video on his phone. He told me to watch the instructional video for technicians without providing any guidance for me as the user. When I had problems doing my fingerprints, the employee did not provide any guidance or direction and simply called from across the store to call an 866 number. I called the number and received a recording of high call volume and never received a response. I finally gave up when I received no answer at the phone number, no assistance from the employee, and the next appointment was waiting for the machine. Overall, if you need LiveScan fingerprints, DON'T GO TO THIS LOCATION! THEY ARE AWFUL! read more

Beware! I was overcharged for a package because they said the weight was 7 pounds and it was 2.8. I had weighed the package at home so I knew what the Ups website estimated. They eventually got it down to the price I saw on the website. I will not be going back there. read more

Seems like a scam, I even asked why it was so much more and was told it was the destination, which was in the same city as the previous package. I came in with an Amazon return. The box was nicely packed, but the top wasn't taped shut. The proprietary told me "It's your job to tape it. Do your job." While I appreciate his effort to establish expectations moving forward, I was shocked to here a store manager tell a customer to "do your job." I'm bringing you business. I'm not at work, you are. I had the most pleasant experience today with a woman working in UPS I didn't catch her name but she had tattoos on her legs. She was so so kind and extremely helpful as well as patient. I will definitely be coming back to this location because of the service I received from her alone. read more

I was charged $16 for 21 one sided black and white photo copies, that comes to $0.76 each, they're normally 10-20 cents each. Ripped off, check what you get charged here, another reviewer had a similar experience w a shipment. read more

You'll likely be lied to and ripped off. Overcharged us by almost $30 to ship a package. We looked up the price online then went to this store. We told them the online price and the response was "the website is always wrong." When we pushed back, he insisted that the online price was just for the ZIP Code and that the specific address we were sending too is more expensive (even though it is an apartment building in an urban area). The online price was $65. They priced it at $105. When we complained, he said, "I'll give you $10 off for the AAA discount." We were not asked to show we are members. On returning home, we logged into a UPS account, put in the full address of the destination and the value. If we had created the label online and then dropped it off, the cost would have been $68 (an extra $3 for above $100 value). read more

I flew into Denver to purchase a really expensive remote controlled airplane. The custom box that I brought with me needed to be modified before I could pack it fly home the next day. Chantel & Jacklynn at store 5442 in Lakewood CO were so helpful and patient as we successfully modified the box. I would definitely use their services in the future. The owner added at least one inch if not two to each dimension of my package. The only reason I knew was I asked if it was in a smaller package if it would cost less and he turned his screen and I saw the dimensions. I told him that I watched him measure it and that the dimensions were wrong. He said I could measure it myself and when he typed in the right dimensions the price went down from $45 to $33. When I said I was going to the post office he turned his screen to show me their rates - $90. When I went to the post office, the cheapest rate was $25!! Total rip off - I see the same in another review. Don't trust this place!!! read more

AMAZING people at this place! There was a blizzard the day before, so ended up at this location since they were actually open (the one by my home was closed). I was shipping a fairly fragile dress and did not have anything to pack it. Not only did Scott and Autumn take extra care to make sure my package was wrapped and packaged properly, afterwards I received text messages and a follow up with how things looked before it was sent out. Unfortunately, shortly I dropped off my package (I was mailing something I sold off Facebook Marketplace), I figured out my buyer was fraudulent. I texted back to the store (I was on hold with PayPal verifying the fraud transaction) and they immediately pulled the package for me. When I arrived to pick my package back up, I felt a bit traumatized from my buyer taking advantage of me. The people working there were so kind to me. Both Scott and Autumn were patient and empathetic to my situation as I cried in the middle of the UPS Store. Such great people. It was exactly what I needed. Scott offered to refund everything from the shipping down to the box. Super glad they were able to act super quickly and help retrieve my package before it left. I really needed a friend at that moment, and they responded like great family. Would drive out of my way again to work with this team! Above and beyond customer service! read more

Rip off and a hassle. I got frustrated and went to the post office, mailed my parcel first class for $3.59. UPS Store was going to charge me $5+ for the same service if I gave them my personal information, or $7+ if I did not. First it was just my phone number, and then they wanted my name and address. Same reason I stopped going to Radio Shack: I walk in to give them my business, and they hold up my purchase trying to squeeze more out of me. read more

I purchased an item off of craigslist that was shipped from this store to Kansas. Upon arrival it was damaged. I had paid for insurance, but wasn't able to receive any compensation because normally it would go to the sender. After I called the Lakewood store and explained that I had paid for the insurance, my payment was sent to me immediately! read more
