I reused a box that had a hazardous goods sticker on it (UPS had shipped it previously). The guy freaked out and insisted it had to be "re-boxed" with their overpriced boxes plus fees. He wouldn't let me rip off the sticker even though the box contained only steel parts. Absolute bureaucracy run amok with no common sense. Took it down to UPS and they had no problem with it. I've used this place for years and have spent thousands here. Never again. read more

Instead of helping one person at a time she spent 15+ minutes on the phone ignoring me. Then when she was done she was helping multiple people at the same time and not helping me at all. She argued with me when I asked her to not say my ENTIRE ADRESS OUT LOUD AT FULL VOLUME in front of multiple other customers. I will take my business elsewhere. read more

Just spoke with "Dani" (sp?) over the phone about an oversized genealogy tree that I want to have printed so it can be posted on a wall. Dani was very patient in tellign me what was and wasn't possible--including size limitations, paper weight options (two), costs (including for rush jobs). She also suggested they print a "proof" first to see if a readable wall poster can be achieved. Even though I am not ready to print my jpeg doucment yet, Dani was proactive in providing Fedex's email address, and recommended I call to tell staff to run a proof first. Dani was friendly, patient and helpful in providing all the information I will need when I am ready to take action. read more

I appreciate the friendly service of the staff at FedEx print and ship center here. I was greeted immediately when I entered and asked what brought me in to the center. The print and go feature of printing makes it easy to set up printing from home so that you can print it with a code upon entering. The office manager was so kind when I didn't have change to break my cash and covered the printing with their spare change. Will be back! read more

Hope to never have to go to kinkos/fedex again, especially the one here at the Longmont location on Ken Pratt. The "manager", who was the same person who started helping me on my previous visit , clocked out in the middle of helping me , without a word - just walked away and then walked past me and said goodbye to her co worker. I found it amusing and didn't think anymore about it as her co-worker finished the transaction, but then I had to go there today to pickup a package. I realized I did not have my wallet with me and asked if I could show her my car registration and tracking number. She said "no " I needed to show a photo ID. I then remembered that I had a digital Colorado ID and asked it that would work, and she said no because not all states have them. She was just trying to be difficult , I had a photo ID , the tracking number and could tell her where the package was coming from. Absolutely no customer service, she seemed to enjoy telling me "no" and give me a hard time. Do better Kinkos/Fedex. Customer service is how you stand out from your competition and she just ruined it for you. read more

People here are friendly and eager to help. Sadly, their printing skills seem to have suffered..back in the Kinko's days; this used to be the "go-to" place for printing needs. We went here to get business cards printed for my wife, and all we heard was "we can't do that". Considering we were printing cards from the same PDF file she's used for several years, it seemed kind of lame. We'll be back, but with forewarning that complications aren't their specialty. read more

Fairly clean and serviceable Kinko's at Longmont. Clean copies, no problems with the feeders and the credit reader cards. Open till around 10pm (check web). Nice that they offer large 11 by 17 cardstock. Slightly expensive at piecemeal rates, but useful if you need it right away. Probably better to find cardstock at a larger-box retailer like an Office Max or Staples. Kinko's located next to a large Safeway, so one could conceivably do some shopping here too. read more

FedEx 980B Ken Pratt, Longmont, CO I'm sorry I went into the store. No other customers, just me. I had some questions about receiving a package. There were two 'working'. It seemed I made the one mad some how. Disrespectful, unfriendly, unhelpful, rude, wouldn't let me ask the question before she offered an answer. Was a waste of my time and hers. On the occasion I'm forced to deal with FedEx. If it is my choice I'll choose another carrier every time. This is the store counter people, not the drivers. I went in here 8 days before Christmas to ship an 18x24 framed picture and needed a box. The said it needed a box that was at least twice the size of the picture and 6 inches thick. Than they quoted me shipping at $330 dollars to go 2 states. They said it was peak time and wouldn't even offer a smaller box. I went to a small mom and pop FedEx store, they boxed it, packed it and shipped it insured for $56. Same shipping time. I would never use this Longmont store again. Unbelievably high charges. read more

The staff woman who helped me was very friendly, but my experience was horrible. There is no where to sit to email files to be printed or move files to Google Drive, etc, workspaces are cramped and the place is huge and empty! What gives? I stood in line for over ten minutes with 2 people bethind me while the packaging line turned over twice- 2-3 employees there and a partial employee at the checkout line. The worst service ever at a Fed Ex store. I stood at the counter in the completely empty store for 8 minutes while a manager "trained" her employee 5 feet in front of me. Neither of them even bothered to acknowledge my presence. When the manager finally helped me..,a female...she was rude, rushed, and did not help me to resolve my questions. The store was dirty. There was no toilet paper and no paper towels in women's rest room and dirty pest bait traps were in open view by the rest rooms. If you still want to do business here, good luck. read more

I miss the old days..when this business was good. Brought in a simple binding job. At pick up the job was done incorrectly. OK - they'll do it again. Except again meant only kinda wrong and I couldn't swallow another trip back. I mentioned the problems to the desk worker and she suggested I come on Sunday's when the 'good workers' worked. I suggested they should have good workers every day. Then she told me their 'fearless manager' did my job and he doesn't know what he's doing. So, I still paid the full bill for crooked copies on the wrong weight paper (but was charged for the nicer paper) that were bound so that the coil bled into the print. And that was the second time they printing/bound the job. Sorry - I wish this place was good but I can't waste my time or money at this location anymore. read more

I've unsuccessfully tried to print photos here twice. The first time I went in with three photos that needed to be cropped and printed. The personnel couldn't help me with this, and directed me to the photo machine. I love that thing, but it requires that the pics be the right size. So I had to go home, manually crop them to the correct proportions (4x6, 5x7) and come back to use the machine. The second time, the machine was broken. I asked the desk if they could print my picture (which I had appropriately sized to 8x10 to avoid my previous issue), and he said they can't print picture-quality with anything but that one machine. They sent me to Walgreens. What kind of printing place is this? I love fedex kinkos, but this one's got probs. read more

Seems that every time I go into this location to mail something, there is an issue. My boxes are never up to their standards. The people working here are rude! I know it isn't just me, as I have seen how they have talked to other customers as well. More than once, I have seen customers walk out of the store, because of how they were treated. I know I have, and I won't be going back there. EVER! I miss the N. Main location, as those employees couldn't do enough to help you, and were pleasant to each and every customer that entered the store! It is funny, that I can take the exact box that the Longmont location didn't want to ship, over to the Boulder store on Central. They will take them each and every time. WITH A SMILE! They will even ask if I need help getting stuff from my car, if I have more than one box. No matter how it is out of my way, I will be taking my future packages to Boulder to mail. read more

Rude an aweful place to ship anything. My advice is to cross the parking lot and go to the much more friendly office Max. Both are FedEx but much better experience at office Max. The guy in shipping stared me down. Is really slow. He spent my time there yelling orders to the back office staff, being rude to me personally too. I will never go there again. This location is well equipped with three self service printing/copying machines. The downfall is that the pay stations connected to these machines limit you to only printing with 8.5x11 or 11x17 peices of paper, even though the machines themselves are full featured ones. This means that you must go to the counter and stomach the employees bad attitude for ANY custom job. The prices are good (~$0.10 b/w and ~$0.50 color). Overall, if you need to print or copy anything from a standard size document this place will do you good and at a reasonable price. If it is not standard be prepared for long waits and bad attitudes. read more

I brought in a FedEX package with my labels ready to go and the service rep decided that I could wait 20 mins watching him package another customer's items. When I told him I have been here 20mins he told me they need to help in the order that the customers come in. So I went to the 2nd clerk and he was too busy with the same customer on a printing project. I asked how one customer can be using two of the three people in the store? The third person was trying to fix the printer problem they were having at the same time. I walked out and reported this to FEDEX HQ and filed a complaint. Needless to say I went to the post office for my shipment. I would not recommend doing business at this shop. Go to the post office. read more
