This PostNet is under new management, and not for the better. I had a mailbox here for years and the new owner was dismissive and rude when I tried to renew. He snapped at my daughter when she went in recently. I always think of PostNets as community businesses -- like this one used to be. That's no longer the case. read more

I have tried multiple times to use this location to send back Amazon packages. Depending on who is working, I get different responses on if they can actually help me. I've successfully been able to email my amazon return label to the store's email and the gentleman helping me printed the label for me. He made the process simple and easy. On two occasions, I've been told they cannot help me at all with this. So there is inconsistency with their customer service. There is really no UPS store close to this location so I gave this store another chance. My mistake. Today I was asked if I was sure I had successfully had them print a UPS label for me. hmmmm. I was there on three occasions for a copy of a large print: first times I got it done in 5 minutes. The second time I was told by the gentleman that I have to come back another day because he and the other employee can not scan my copy in order to print large copy. The third time I came, there were three employees there. The employee that can scan & make copy told me that I have to come back in the afternoon because she is doing something else at that moment. I usually have to wait a while for someone to acknowledge me even they were doing nothing. I went to Morrell Printing in Lafayette today and got great service, I was out with my copies in less than 3 minutes. read more

I have a post box here as I travel a lot, and they are always pleasant on the phone when I call to ask what's in the box and are happy to forward me anything that's relevant to wherever I happen to be at. This place over charges to send packages. They charged us $22 to send a small package weighing less than a standard letter (over Christmas) and tried to charge $65 for a package that usps charges $19 (including packaging). This place is a ripoff. Do yourself a favor and wait in line at the Post Office as they will rob you blind. read more

If you're behind the counter, you need to be wearing a mask; if you are an 'essential business' and get to stay open, you need to do your part. As a nurse, working to keep our community healthy, I was extremely disappointed to see the owner 3 feet from his customers and without a mask. I agree with other reviews that this location is oddly overpriced but I come back because they are part of my community and I want to support local. Apparently, it's time for a change. I'll never again use PostNet, Lafayette for shipping. I dropped off a package at PostNet, Lafayette to be shipped FedEx priority. PostNet created the label and the package was never seen again. At this time (4 days after dropping it off) FedEx has no record of picking it up and no one at PostNet, Lafayette knows what happened to it. Screwed me and others up on numerous fronts. Next time, I'll take the extra 10 minutes and use FedEx Office in Louisville...I've always had exceptional service there. read more

The first time I used the printing services provided by this store, I was more than impressed! The man who helped me was quick, efficient, and produced exactly what I asked for on the first attempt. The second time, however... has led me to reconsider options for a nice printing job! The girl that helped me didn't even acknowledge myself or a man that walked in after me upon entering the store. Then, once I had made my presence known, she (without getting up from her seat) told me to plug my USB drive into an older computer, without so much as a simple direction as to where the port was located. After I spent a couple minutes trying to find the port, I finally told her I wasn't sure where it goes. At this point, she finally walked over and inserted my USB without a word. But that is just the beginning. I wanted her to print a resume for me on a little nicer paper than normal printer paper (hence the reason for my visit instead of just printing at home). She continued to insist the only nice paper they provided had a waxy finish-- I proceeded to tell her about my previous experience and she continued to deny such a paper existed. At this point it started to frustrate me that she was so incompetent at her job, so I looked around the room myself to find other types of paper, finally locating what I wanted myself. At this point I was running behind my own schedule, so while she took care of printing, I went to pay for the document. The lady working the register also had to be reminded that customers were in the shop, because she ignored me standing at the counter for a solid minute. And finally, for the cherry on top, I wanted my document double-sided, which took the printing girl two attempts to get correct. If you're hoping for a quick and easy printing service, I would suggest going somewhere else. I basically did their job for them, without so much as an apology for failing to provide a decent service. In the future, I will take my business elsewhere, unless the efficient and helpful man from my first sales experience returns! read more

I returned two packages to Amazon.com using Amazon provided labels and dropped them off at PostNet. Amazon did not receive the packages so I was charged for their contents. This business does not offer tracking documentation, so I asked and received it. Over two months went by and I threw the tracking documentation away. So now, I have just been notified by Amazon they didn't receive the packages. Two lessons learned: 1) Don't use PostNet; and 2) follow-up by actually tracking the package. read more
