I placed an order online and picked up my order in store. Super easy. Right on Mineral Point road so it can be busy exiting the parking lot. Lots of parking available right in front of the store. The staff was friendly, I was helped right away. I think they have great print quality. The paper is thick and the colors/images are very clear. I did have a few postcards printed and they were just ok. I knew when I was ordering online that it wasn't exactly lining up with my postcard PDF. I tried to alter the PDF a few times and ultimately just had to go with the closest fit even though it wasn't perfect. Note I made the postcards on Canva and the sizing didn't seem to translate well to Fedex printing. A great go-to printing spot. read more

I have been using this FedEx on Mineral Point Road for decades now. It has always been my go to printing place. However, I brought in a simple front cover with an inside program and asked for the front cover to be printed on one side of the paper and the program to be printed on the other side of the paper. Simple enough. I got a call from this assistant manager, saying that there was ' massive confusion' about what I wanted. Hmmm... a print shop being confused about putting two pages back to back. When I went to pick up the few copies this very rude, snarky assistant manager told me that she was really giving me a deal and should've charged me much more because I had given them incorrect directions. I bet all of you who just read this probably understood what I needed, yet the assistant director of the FedEx on Mineral Point Road did not understand. I must say that a very nice young man named Quentin had helped me when I first arrived yesterday morning, and he knew what I needed so perhaps the assistant director should have let Quentin, who works for her, do it himself. I needed someone to scan and print a large photograph that had torn after sticking to the glass. I was also on a tight budget so I wasn't about to drop $100 on photo restoration. I was going to fill in the damaged areas with colored pencils and the woman who helped me had some great suggestions on which paper to use. I also JUST HAPPENED to be horribly thirsty and they had a bottled water fridge right by the checkout. How perfect was that?? Seriously, I was about to ask for the bathroom just to stick my mouth under the faucet. I sipped on my water while she scanned my photo and made a few copies for me. I was prepared to have to come back later for my project to be done but I was in and out in about 5 minutes. The service was outstanding. The building was clean and uncluttered. I've primarily worked with this FedEx location in my professional life, and I have to tell you, they've got top notch customer service here. The staff have always been fantastic, helpful, and quick to acknowledge any problems. I've had some experience working in a print center, so I know it can be a crazy, hectic, and error prone job - even with those amazing do-it-all machines that any serious office junkie wishes they could get their hands on. Our company had a printing contract with FedEx for quite a long time and only recently switched to a competitor. I admit, I occasionally still go to them because they do a much better job than their replacement. *sigh* We still do most of our shipping through them, and again, love their service in this area. My print jobs with FedEx have ranged from: thousands of pages in differing colors and print settings for annual handbooks; over 40 full color, laminated, and mounted posters for an outreach project; untold numbers of fliers and handouts for all kinds of purposes; years worth of certificates; very large format scientific posters for competitions; large pop-up banners; small sized pocket-booklets and cards; protocol books; and a heck of a lot more. Occasionally we've had a last minute job, and they were on it every time. There have been times when an order was delivered with errors, and they were usually corrected and hand delivered same-day (whether it was our mistake our theirs). I've had multiple in-person meetings with sales reps to go over specific projects (like the outreach posters) and they were amazing. Whether the person on the other side of the phone or e-mail interaction was in the local shop, at the central processing center, or in sales, they treated us with the utmost respect and have a clear desire to do the best work possible. While I sincerely miss being able to work with them on our print jobs, I'd absolutely go to them for a personal order without hesitation. I'd also recommend them to someone considering a corporate/business contract. read more

My favorite thing about this FedEx location would have to be the hours! I have been here close to midnight and have been here at 6 am and they are always open. Though they are not open 24/7 it sure feels like they are. The staff is pleasant and knowledgeable. They also have a good amount of supplies like notepads and folders that aren't too badly priced. There is also loads of parking cause I mean, how busy can a FedEx really get? All in all great location, no complaints! read more

I've taken several large printing projects to this FedEx location and the people who work there are fantastic, so nice, helpful and patient. I was there yesterday with an image to print on the large printer and the staff seemed just as interested in getting the image exactly right as I was. At first, the printer kept cutting off the top of the image. Eventually, at least 3 people were working to figure out how to get the image to print and they did it and were so pleasant the whole time. This is the best FedEx I've been to, in Madison or elsewhere. read more

If there is one thing, This Fedex Location is great. I've used this place many times and are friendly. But it can be a pain depending on who you are dealing with. I've had to deal with one today where I already had a box of my own and a pre-made shipping label. Yet being told that I needed to add a bit of a filler in the box because of the sides being a bit weak and that it could be damaged in transit and which FEDEX is not liable for (DUH). Now I've never had this issue until today and yet they wanted to charge me money for this. Of course I had two options, which was to take it back and put it on my own or pay for them to put some filler. Which is just ridiculous in my book. If they charged me a buck, then I'd take it but really 4 bucks? But I don't see it being worth 4 bucks just to have them fill a filler in a box that I have created. I can understand if I purchase a box and have them box it then that would be a different story. But only to have them fill a filler, I don't think they should even charge you 4 bucks for this. Didn't want to waste time as I was already there and did't want to make another trip. So a word of advise. Before taking your package over, make sure they are well packed. So will even try to put a pressure on the packages. read more
