We came in on a weekday afternoon when it was medium traffic and were helped by Andrew who patiently assisted us in determining various sizes and types of paper and print styles needed for graduation photos for our boys using digital copies purchased from the photographer. They turned out WONDERFUL and at a fraction of the price. We had several different poses (twins) that we had selected and so we put him through quite the chore selecting and cropping the photos and picking the various sizes and papers. He was so great and kept up a positive, professional and humorous demeanor the entire time. We will definitely be back!! read more

I am extremely disappointed in Fedex. I am a business account owner as well and I cannot believe this would happen. Two days ago, I went to the Reston, VA facility and told them that it was extremely urgent that my son get the package the next day. I paid $176.72. I specifically said it was an apartment complex and that I did not want a signature required so that the driver would not miss my son. Its been two days now and the driver keeps saying that he cannot deliver the package because it requires a signature. They are now indicating that they will try again tomorrow. This is insane. I should get my money back. Why is it that simple instructions are so complicated to understand. I came here on a Saturday morning and it was not busy. There were 2 employees working. I called first to inquire about parking and was informed of the few short term parking spaces at the back of the store. That saved me so much time and effort. Let's be honest parking sucks at Reston Town Center. But having this knowledge allowed me to get in and out. I walked in and was greeted. A FedEx employee walked up to me and asked me what I was shipping, and I said a phone. Then she said does it work, so I said yes. At this point I'm suspicious and getting annoyed. Then she informed me I should upgrade shipping. I said no my device came in this fashion so I think it's fine. She then gestured for the guy behind the counter to prepare my shipment and tape it up then walked away. I appreciated so much that they didn't make me buy tape for one package. The lady suggested that I pay in cash which was interesting. I pay in cash and get home and I have a charge on my card. So I double paid. I am disputing the charge with my credit card company and I am confident it will be removed. It was not a lot of money, and and I am not accusing anyone of anything. Would never come here again. I had to return a package here. Customer service is terrible, unfriendly and rude. I asked how many stamps it would take to mail a light 9x12 envelope with some paper in it. Service guy wouldn't tell me and wouldn't let me weigh it. I dropped off multiple packages here without any issues. However, when I dropped off my fedex ground package today to Ryan, he claimed that I needed to purchase another box because the original box that I had my return in cannot he used because it was a fedex express box and my shipping label indicated fedex ground. Mind you, I questioned him because I very clearly dropped off a fedex ground package in a fedex express package only 4 days ago and Ryan was the one who inspected and accepted my package without making me purchase a separate box ! I even confirmed with him if all 2 day shipping were through fedex express in case the last box I had my return in was fedex ground. Granted, it wasn't the price of the box that is making me write this review... it's the principle. I went to this Kinkos to print out a document and get it bound. I wanted to print out another document and get it laminated. I printed out my first document from a USB drive after being directed to a self service and it printed out completely messed up. I then went to the paid computers to check my formatting in Word, and it was fine. The guy up front said "oh, that happens." I reprinted it using PDF and it worked. I went to get it bound, and they didn't have the option I needed (which is understandable). I then asked to get the other sheet laminated an hour and a half before closing and he said it wouldn't be ready until tomorrow morning. I mentioned that it takes only a minute to laminate, and he said that he had "a lot of stuff to do" and couldn't do it. I also mentioned that if the printer had worked I would have asked him to do it an hour earlier. I understand that things happen and that maybe they need to update their printer and offer more options, but the thing that aggravated me the most was the customer service. He seemed not to care at all, even when it was clear I was getting upset. He also didn't once ask to help me when I was trying for an hour to print my document, when it was clear that I was struggling. Complete apathy towards helping customers. Better off going to a place that actually wants your business. read more

I just wanted to print a shipping label and I felt like I was asking to solve the answer to world peace. I give them credit as I have no doubt staff is overworked but I also feel like I am speaking alien speak when I ask for what I need which makes me feel frustrated even though I know it is probably more management's issue. Today was the last time I think that I will utilize this business. They make very simple things hard and it is too bad because it is convenient. Also, why do none of the computers work here? Additionally, I saw 4 other customers in the store and it seemed no one was getting very good service maybe it is a lack of training. The customer service here used to actually be fine and then somehow they took a turn and I literally just wanted to cry I was standing there for 30 minutes and no one cared or even pretended to care. It is just very unprofessional! Abused by 3 Fedex employees today! They are not even listening or trying to understand what you are complains about! They just wanted to cover their bad job! I gave my food truck menu items to fedex for lamination. I used it first time and it was raining. They all got ruined because since they are narrow items, to make their job easier, they laminated them first all together in one sheet and cut them after which cause being not being water proof. What is the purpose if it is not water proof! I called customer service and they told me I should go to store get a refund. I went to the store and they told me to wait for the manager 30 min. Manager came did not even look at anything and started to tell me it is used and damaged. They can not provide any refund. I was charged $112 for the lamination with trimming which I did not asked for. They trimmed all of them not even straight and messed up all my printings which I paid $160. Also the manager told me she did not trim anything even I was charged for it. The manager and employees are extremely rude. The little young blond guy told me I can not refund shoes after I wear it. I also recommend them to train their employees about lamination or not to do it but that blond guy got mad at me. They are just yelling around and doing nothing right! I really felt like that place is a zoo. The Indian lady and the manager are far from being human being. Only one lady tried to help me but she was not authorized. I called customer service and waiting for them to solve the issue. I will update my review when the issue solve. Costumer service is extremely nice and helpful. I hope they will fix this problem. I lost several hours and money with a bad experience with these people. Please do not go! I really wish they fire all those 3 employees including manager! This store is fairly large. Why only one employee is working on a Saturday early afternoon (presumably a fairly busy time) is beyond me. The one staff member was helping a print and copy guest, while I and another two guests waited quite some time to mail/ship items. The poor staff member ended up bouncing between us all, and as a result messed up a lot in her service - the recipient and return names and addresses were both spelled wrong on my package despite my multiple attempts to spell it out. I am very unhappy with this office. I called them and told them that I was ill and unable to pick up my package. I asked if they could hold it for a few more days. I told them I was unable to go to wok as well. They told me I had to call customer service as the local office could not extend the date. I called customer service and she told me she had to call the local office to see if they could hold it. When she called the local office, they told her she had to call customer service. She then explained to them that she was customer service. So then they told her no. It's like a three ring circus there. So now I won't be able to get my Christmas gift from my brother. First, this is Reston Town Center. Parking is a nightmare. This location is primarily for the offices and businesses within the town center, so do not use unless you happen to work here. Second. I walked in to get something scanned. the machine wouldn't take my card. So I called someone over to help( nametag said in training, so i tried not to get upset at him). He couldn't help, so he called the manager. She set to work on it with him hovering nearby. Meanwhile, I'm just standing there getting frustrated since they took my card in concern that it was being charged. ten minutes later, she got the idea to walked over to the money machine to see if any money was being taken out. It wasn't, so she lead me to another scanning computer which was working perfectly. If this was real customer service, they would have focused on helping me before working on their machine while I stand around. I will not be going back to this location. read more

I used this Fedex branch to print out our customized wedding invitations. Sherry did an amazing job printing them out! She was extremely helpful and kew what she was doing. She formatted, printed and cut out the invitations within few minutes. They even came out better than I expected. Since we needed to get the invitations sent out asap, she really saved the day. I visited FedEx tonight to print out some pictures, this is probably my 3rd time patronizing this store. By now I know how the "print and go" option works, but my first time around I stood at the machine like an idiot for 3x longer than was necessary. Employees don't engage the customers, they wait to be asked for help... Sometimes I like being left alone to browse and shop but when it comes to electronics and computers I want a professional to hold my hand and walk me through it. (No, not really, but you get my drift). The printing prices are reasonable but the machines are a little intimidating. Now that I have a basic understanding of how they work I can stumble through a project, but a "hello, let me know if there's something I can help you with," would be nice. I haven't had any experience with the shipping nightmares of the other customers that have reviewed this place. USPS is nearly always the most affordable way to go, anyways. read more

Asst. Mgr whose name starts w/ Q was not at all friendly. No greeting; no smile; no "Can I help you?". The encounter was in the days following my father passing & for related reasons, I had a package that REALLY had to go out quickly. The first thing Q said to me was that every square inch of the large box I was placing on the counter had to be covered in tape. My wife buys the special brown wrapping paper & the correct wide clear tape all the time as we ship a lot of packages. We dispute this seeming arbitrary rule - but I smiled & asked very politely if he could help me. He grudgingly started taping up the box. When he asked me to confirm the destination address - he hadn't entered it correctly (what was written on the box in large letters) & I politely asked that he fix it. At payment time, I tried to use Samsung pay from my phone as my only credit card was splitting & I was worried about it breaking. This action, combined w/ something Q was doing at his register seemed to freeze up the system. He said the system would have to be rebooted & after he got that started, he went back to something that looked roughly like straightening up other parts of the store. This was close to closing time on Thursday. Another customer came in w/ boxes & looked puzzled at Q ignoring us both for at least 5-7 minutes while he straightened up. When he came back to the rebooted register, I looked at the other customer & joked "I guess I broke his register". Q - looking at the machine responded verbatim at the at that point: 'Yes, you did." Then he asked me to verify the destination address. He entered it wrong again & I had to nicely ask him to fix it. Eventually, I paid w/ my splitting credit card & b/c I try to always treat people the way I'd like to be treated - made a point of thanking Q for his help & the taping he did for me. He made a non-committal sound, I think. I am left w/ 3 burning questions: 1) Is the FedEx cash register system REALLY so fragile that anybody w/ a SamSung phone attempting to use SamSung pay (like I had started doing for a week or so previously w/ NO other issues) can lock it up? 2) Doesn't FedEx give employees training on treating their customers politely? (I will tack on that I can tolerate a little surly from someone competent. But enter a destination address incorrectly TWICE and then essentially accuse me of locking your system up by holding a cel. phone up to the card reader? Wow.) 3) If Q seems to despise his job as much as his outward demeanor reflects - why doesn't he find employment better suited to his personality? He doesn't seem to enjoy interactions w/ customers at all. read more
