The store manager and employees are professional and attentive to one's shipping and mailbox needs. I've been a customer for years, and the email reminders are most helpful when it's time to renew a rental period. The teenagers that work here are respectful, knowledgeable, and hardworking. Not only do they help people with heavy packages and the door, but the other customers are also so lovely and kind. Even when it is busy, I always feel at ease in this store. If you need copies of documents for serious matters, they see your project through and help you however you need. Bonus: if you have a mailbox contract with them, you get 10% off of copying and shipping. They also sell USPS stamps here and have a 5:30-6pm pick up for shipping, so it's great scheduling for legal mailings and Amazon store owners. I am glad that they are here and that they were open at a reasonable time on Sunday. This store is one of the few places in this area where there are office services like copying and printing. What was somewhat cumbersome was the fact that they only have a single self-service computer in the entire store, and this is the only way to print documents from a thumb drive. You actually have to log into their computer in order to print. I know that other office stores have the copy machine that does everything like copying, scanning and printing. I paid $4.00 to print 3 black and white pages. This seemed a little excessive, but I had very few options in this neighborhood. I still belive that it is a better value to utilize these office stores for ordinary business tasks, as opposed to actually purchasing a printer or copier. The UPS Store - Shipping Centers Near Me - Clifton, Virginia

We received a "Sorry we missed you" notice from UPS that had the "we are taking the package to a pickup store" checked. No addressee name is on the notice. UPS tracking website also did not show who the package was for. I drove to the store this morning and I give the clerk my Id and tell him my wife's name. The package is addressed to my wife who has a different last name. Even though I have the same address on my license and told the clerk her name he would not release the package to me. read more

The manager is rude and very unpleasant. I continue to go here because of convenience. Today I stopped by to drop off packages and the store was closed stating "closed from 2-3, on lunch". This would be ok for a local mom and pop but they are UPS. Luckily there's another UPS on St. Germain. It was beyond time for me to switch anyways. I want to start out this review by saying this review is simply directed towards the manager of this store, Abdul Azizi. I am a frequent customer of this store and today was the day that I have had just about enough of this man and his horrible customer service and bad attitude. Each and every time I am being helped by Abdul, he has been rude, unfriendly, and simply unhelpful. Today I was carrying 3 packages and one was a bit heavy. As I entered the store he was assisting another customer in front of me, so I set my packages to the side while I waited for my turn. Once it was my turn, he instructed me to bring my packages over to the scale, which I did. Then he made comments about how I need to put each package on the scale one at a time because he needs to be able to scan each one. You can go out of your way to leave your store and help customers bring in packages from their car, but you can't reach 5 inches to help move a package that's right next to you to the scale which is also right next to you on the other side? Then he accused me of throwing a package on the scale and told me to be careful because the scale is sensitive. I did not throw the package and I am pretty sure the stainless steel scale is not that sensitive and packages aren't gently placed on the scale each and every time. I have never had this bad of an experience with any of the other employees at this store. In fact, they have all been very helpful and friendly. I have heard other people complain about Abdul as I have walked out of the store before, so I know I am not alone in feeling this way. Abdul seems to pick and choose who he wants to provide good customer service to based on some of these reviews. I've visited other UPS stores in the area and have never had this type of issue with their managers. I hate to say this, but I can't help but to think he's a bit racist. I truly hope he adjusts his attitude and can treat all customers equally. It leaves a bad taste in your mouth when all you're doing is simply returning a package, and this is the type of customer service that's provided by someone who manages the store. I needed to print out resumes-- $0.13/page here for black & white printing (do not use email for sending documents! make sure you bring your USB or rates can be higher). The printing quality is not as sharp because the printers they have use ink rather than laser. What this location lacks, it makes up by providing the excellent customer service. We wanted to give our business to a locally-owned firm instead of our local Centreville post office where we have had nothing but delivery and shipping problems with USPS. Therefore, at this UPS Store, I requested not to use USPS shipping and wanted UPS-only shipping instead. As long as it gets there by Christmas and that was several weeks away, and I didn't care if the price was higher than USPS rates. Was told the "cheapest" was a $15 rate for our padded envelope. Reiterated that I didn't want to use USPS (US Postal Service) or UPS SurePost (also US Postal Service) and was assured it was neither of those services. I agreed to the $15 rate and paid cash meaning the business owner wasn't subjected to the additional credit card fee if I'd used credit. Before I left the store, I checked the tracking number on the receipt to see that it was a USPS tracking number (starts with a "9") and "two day delivery" which was not necessary either. The clerk told me again that is the "cheapest" rate even when I didn't ask for "cheapest", I asked for non-USPS service. Yes, as I mentioned, I would have paid the "higher" UPS pricing just to not use USPS and I stated such. And this isn't the first time this particular UPS store has used USPS as the shipper when I requested otherwise. So what if it does cost more? It's MY money and MY wish. If I'd wanted to ship via USPS, I would have gone to USPS. I've never had this problem with FedEx stores. I agree with Candice L. on the terrible customer service. UPDATE on 3/25/18. I DID go back when I noticed the tracking number started with a 9. The clerk told me that USPS would be used for the item and did not offer to change it. So don't put that on me. It's YOUR employee who refused to follow my request. read more

A friend and I needed programs printed for a memorial service the same day, and Nick and his staff at Union Mill UPS Store could not have been more helpful. They let us print out 2 test copies before we had 100 programs printed. The paper and print quality were excellent. Nick offered to make some changes on the file to expedite the process, instead of us having to go back to our computers and make the changes ourselves. UPs's cost for color copies was much cheaper than Fed Ex, and since the store is small, they were able to offer more personal customer service. I will definitely use them again for my printing needs. I have been going to this UPS Store for years. The store is easily accessible with plenty of parking and always fully staffed with friendly and responsive people. Here is why I will ALWAYS go to this store. I shipped expensive electronic equipment to FL that I sold on the internet. A fews hours later I found out I was scammed and the payment was fraudulent. I was frustrated and upset about being scammed and the only thing I could try to do was get the package back. I called the store and talked to Abdul. He was extremely kind in listening to my story and while the package had already been picked-up he was going to see what he could do to help. A few hours later he called me back and said he thinks he was able to stop the delivery and have it returned to the store. I cannot say enough good things about Mr. Ali Emadi. I had a crisis, and he stepped in to resolve it for me. He printed an emailed document, sealed it and labeled it according to RFP instructions, and hand delivered it for me to the purchasing department prior to the deadline for proposals. He did all of that in less than an hour and a half. He followed up with me throughout the process on his own initiative. It was absolutely exceptional service, and a stand-out experience for me. Since my initial visit, I have been a repeat customer since they have services ranging from the standard shipment of packages to printing, copying, or laminating documents. During my last visit, I had the opportunity to meet the store manager who was incredibly friendly and eager to help. Normally I would not take the time to write a review BUT after my experience yesterday I just had to. My husband warned me not to take my packages to The UPS Packing Store and told me that I should have gone directly to the Post Office...next time I will listen to him. On Saturday, December 19, 2020, I took 4 packages to be mailed out. My first issue here is that I was NEVER told that Saturday is not considered a regular working day for the store and that packages taken in on Saturday are not mailed out until Monday UNLESS you pay for the higher next day or 2 day service. Had the female who I believe is the store manager told me this prior to her creating shipping labels I would have turned around and went directly to the Post Office. My second issue here is that it costs me $250.00 to mail out 4 packages (2 to Florida, 1 to Georgia, and 1 to Texas) again had the store said that they don't mail out on Saturday, I would have gone directly to the Post Office and not bothered. And I'm sure some of you are saying why am I upset especially because it's the holiday right? Well, on Thursday I went to the Post Office and mailed out 7 priority boxes and it only costed me $125.00, half of what it costed me to send out the 4 boxes on Saturday from The UPS Packing Store. I hate to say this but people with everything going on and the need to save as much money as possible I WOULD NOT RECOMMNED using the services at The UPS Packing Store #6567 in Centreville, VA. There is just no way #1 the store is opened for business on Saturday but yet the Manger says it's not a normal working day; and #2 four boxes should not have costed me twice as much as what I paid at the United States Post Office and I sent out more boxes. Just do yourself a favor and go directly to the United States Postal Service. read more

I went to return some rental text books at this location but ended up not doing so. I was told that I'd have to use my credit card to use the internet that I needed to print out my free shipping labels from Amazon as well as pay for the pages printed. They charge internet use per minute which I guess would test your typing and mouse clicking speed. This is the first time I was ever told to do this when returning textbooks. The UPS store on St Germain Drive gives you a card made specifically to be able to print out your shipping label. read more

They went out of their way to take my number and then they called me a few minutes later to tell me the notary had come in. What great people! read more

Appalling customer service! If I could rate this store negative stars I would. Went in to mail 2 packages. First Nick told me that the PO Box address did not exist. After 5-10 min of searching and my agreeing to take the package back to confirm the address I read the address and he's typed in the address wrong. An honest mistake. However after that he proceeds to quote me a price well above any price I'd been quoted at the Fair lakes location for similar binder mailings. I specifically said I'd like to mail it the cheapest way there's no rush. I even pulled out a receipt for identical mailings and then he backtracked and said well you didn't tell me that's what you wanted. I told him i was getting frustrated having been there for now 20 min and still nowhere close to completing my transaction. This is when Nick turned nasty. He rose his voice telling me that it was due to my handwriting that he got the address wrong. Instead of apologizing, he said that just bc I'm the customer doesn't mean I'm always right. In the end he shouted at me to leave and never come back to the store. He tore up the labels he was beginning to create and shouted at me again to leave. I am disgusted at this man Nick and appalled at how he believes he should treat customers. This is not an establishment that I will visit again...just disgusting ppl working here. read more
