My housemate was next to them talking and was not acknowledged until my housemate tried making a request. The person yelled at my housemate. We called to complain and we were simply told that the delivery person is not required to speak to the recipient. You know what fedex? Eff you and your policy. I walked in at 7:35pm fully knowing the store closed at 8:00pm but I need the job done. Alec not only greeted me immediately but heard my goals and concerns and set to the task immediately. He was informative on the options he could offer, transparent on pricing and timing, and genuinely a calm and caring help. Specifically, he helped me immediately email my documents into the system, lined up my addresses to the labels I brought in, got my color print order going, then hearing my plan to cut all the fliers, suggested his industrial cutter which was a LIFE SAVER. I was out of there in 15min with 160 labels and 160 freshly-printed and perfectly-cut fliers all neatly packaged up for the ride home. I know what you're thinking, it's a FedEx and there's really not much you can say. Each branch is a cookie cutter version of the next one. Well if you've done a lot of shopping or printing you will find that the branches are actually not as cookie cutter as you'd think. First of all, we all have color printers and they do a decent job of printing but no where near as good as the printing you will have done on the color printer behind the counter. You'd be amazed at the sharpness of the colors and the range of colors. One of the things I like is that they are able to help tweak PDFs you bring in. So if you don't have it saved with enough space at the edge they can fix that for you. Also, I liked that they also let me review the copies before having them run off. I've gotten brochures made here and I like the selection of paper they have available as far as quality and thickness. If you are not sure what type of paper to use they are really good at making recommendations. I've also had cards and other items made with card stock and all of those were perfect. Tre staff here are always polite and friendly. They offer good customer service and are very quick at getting the work done. I'd recommend opening an account here and getting the discount. It really ads up if you do a lot of printing. read more

I need others to know what went on at this location of FedEx because it was unacceptable and the epitome of horrible customer service. I went in to order an enlargement of a picture of my dad on foam core because he had just passed away and we wanted it for his funeral beside his casket. Well when I ordered it, I was told it was going to be done well with the size I choose and the next day I could pick up, and that they would call me the next day when it was ready. Well I didn't here anything the next day or most of the day after that so I called and asked if it was ready and they said rather shortly, " well, did we call you and tell you it was ready?" And I said no but that I had been told it would be done the day before. So he puts me on hold and then comes back and is like "ya I guess it is ready actually". So I go in to pick it up and it is handed to me, not in a bag or box or covered at all, and he starts ringing me up and I notice there's a scratch on it.... A big scratch under my dads ear. Super noticeable. So I say, hey it looks like there's actually a scratch on it. And the guy grabs it from me and mumbles to himself something like, no it doesn't look like a scratch it's probably on the image, Not talking to me at all, he then goes to his computer and starts to look up the image to see if it was just on the photo itself, which it definitely isn't. He isn't convinced though and says "well I can't tell if it's on the image so I won't be able to see for sure unless I print it again." Then he says as inconvenienced as possible, "sooo.... do you want me to make it again or....?" So I say "yes please. It's for my fathers funeral and Id love to not have a huge scratch on it." So then he says, "Well it won't be done til like probably the last thing tomorrow but we'll call you" and then just walks away. No apology, no thanks, no sorry for the inconvenience, no NOTHING. He was bummed he was going to have to do it again and didn't give a crap that it was something super important to me. I was so angry. I was already sad and emotional from my dad passing away the week before, and then seeing his picture all blown up was hard and then it had a HUGE scratch on it. I needed this to be lovely and perfect so me and my family could grieve and say goodbye to my dad, especially because it was a closed casket. And this guy didn't even REMOTELY care. I mean he wasn't even civil, or like even a tiny bit decent or had any customer service at all. I didn't need him to go above and beyond or anything, but he wasn't even civil. I felt I was inconveniencing him. So I left and drove away, but then realized I actually didn't want to give them any of my money so I went back and asked for a refund and to cancel my order and I went somewhere else where I could at the very least get the bare minimum of customer service. This place has NO CUSTOMER SERVICE whatsoever. Give your business to somewhere else!!! read more

I was out of town when FedEx attempted to deliver my package. I received a text saying they would hold it for 5 days, when I went to collect it (within the 5 day holding period) they said it wasn't there. Of course the text did not say which Fed Ex was holding it. Since the attempted delivery, I have tried to pick it up four times. Each time I was told my package was not there. No one seems to know where it is. I have had 9 text messages between April 29 and today, May 10 telling me this package is ready for pickup. read more

Quinn is an absolute nightmare to deal with. This is my second terrible interaction with him this year and only my second time interacting with him ever. My experience is worth noting for the rest of you so beware. His attitude is aggressive, sharp and disrespectful. He treats you with impatience and disgust as he huffs and puffs bottling up his rage like a ticking bomb. As soon as I entered and approached the scale he yelled at me to stand on the purple dot despite both parties wearing masks and me needing to A. Scan phone for label code and B. Place package on scale. If he is this afraid of COVID Then he should either request sneeze screens or NOT come to work. I highly recommend this business! We had an urgent print need for my fathers funeral program. A last minute change in attendees created a "911" to update , re-print and pickup by the next day. It was super stressful as we were on the road from Oregon We called and spoke to Sally who was super supportive and accommodating. She provided us with instructions to upload the new document and promised to have it done by 9am the next day. The problem was being an hour away from our hotel and getting plugged in...and it was 4pm. Once the file was uploaded we called and spoke to John. He gave recommendations for paper and style and said he personally would get the programs printed We had no problem picking the materials up on time the next morning. Incompetent. They truly are. And I feel like I can say that with confidence because I've been to this location so many times now for different services that in every area there has been some kind of basic level of stupidity that just gets under your skin. First off, there is always someone there to greet you. It's to try to cover up the poor service you are about to receive. It always seems to be the older man working there, he's basically the babysitter there. But if you do get him to help you, you will be in and out of there in no time. He knows what he is doing. If you are mailing things, they may direct you to several different people before you are told that you need to fill out this form only to realize that they can't send it because they don't ship to PO boxes or that only UPS can handle it. But they like to wait till the end to tell you this. If you are getting professional copies or pictures made, you will be handed off again. Picking up the job will also result in frustration because they will have either lost it, misplaced it, forgot to do it, or done it wrong. And then there is just buying supplies. So they send items through the mail. Of course they don't sell stamps, that's just silly. And they only carry the minimum copy and photo paper. Though I do like the photo paper they carry. And their crowning achievement is printer cartridges. They have no idea what they keep in supply or what cartridges go to what printer. They also keep these behind the counter so you can't inspect them yourself. They need to train their employees better. read more

The one with the name tag, Josh, was the worst offender of all - he rolled his eyes at another customer, balked at him for coming back to check on his job, as though the customer should have more sense than that. At one point, he kept repeating the name of another staff member as though he was a 5 year old child calling for "mom" "mom" "mom" "mom" "mom", he seemed completely disinterested in completing my job and barely addressed me except to point me to the cash register, no pleasantries what so ever - absurdly bad service! They ended up having to double bill my card because they couldn't figure out the label printer the first time. Its fine to have new staff but someone should at least be training them. I use this location from time to time because they open 24/7 and has parking right front. But I am not a happy customer... I have been unlucky dealing with one guy who is slow, clumsy, and grumpy. Always leave bad after taste every visit. I always need to grab a cup of latte to shake it off. I want to go other FedEx store just to avoid him but this is the most closest location so I patiently going this store hoping to not see him. And if I see him, I always send my big wish that he will find other job at elsewhere and leave this job entirely prior to my next visit. He never clearly say anything rude but he has attitude "don't want to go extra miles, don't boathre me" kind. He seems irritate when I ask couple of questions/requests. Like I said, he is clumsy may not have enough knowledges to be flexible. So, it probably coming from his insecureness. But I also do not like the way he handles packages...pretty rough. I feel FedEx need provide a customer service training or re-home him in a better fit positon. This place is a necessary evil unfortunately. Now let me start with this; one team member brought this rating so low. One team member whom I have dealt with repeatedly and regretfully. He has shocked me with the serious lack of customer service, so much so in fact I complained twice to management with little results. Some quotes from this lovely Kinko's Employee "Look I don't care about pleasing people I am just here to get a pay check." or "I am not here to put up with peoples crap", or "whoever made this ad is a serious amateur you should hire me to do your fliers I do that on the side", or "why don't you go home and re-size it then come back, I don't want to re-size it for you". ... Lovely guy. This location has some perks however, Anthony and if I knew the female mangers name I would give her a shout out too, they are great managers and have people skills unlike their employee. I've been dropping off packages almost at this location at least once a month for several years. Because of the value of the packages I always need to get a receipt in case something happens. All my packages are pre-labeled, all I need to do is drop them off. On several occasions in the last year there is one particular guy, maybe the manager that always gives me a hard time saying that my package is not currently boxed, not taped properly etc. and that it needs to be reboxed, at an expense of course. Today I was waiting in line and he comes out of the back of the store asking me what's in the box and that the box is not square, so it will need to be repacked, at a cost of course. I explained to him again that I've been shipping these kinds of boxes for many years and there wasn't a problem with the other people working there, hinting to him that it's just him that has an issue. He kept repeating himself like a parrot that my box was not square, and it will need to be re-packed. Since when did FedEx change their rules that they only ship perfectly symmetrical boxes? I took the box to another FedEx location and they didn't event mention that the box is not square and took it with no issues. I called FedEx to file a complaint. They said there is no policy that a box need to be perfectly square, it can be in any shape. They apologised and said they will reach out to this particular location to find out what the issues are with this individual. It's really sad that it has to come to this. read more

Truly crummy service. I simply can't tell you how bad it is. For one, I had to rush there early one morning (like 5am) to fax some important papers to the east coast. Guess what? They're NOT OPEN at 5am. Now, the nearest one open is Ballard. You'd THINK they'd put a sign in the window announcing that... but n-o-o-o-o-o-o-o-o-o..... Fortunately, one of their employees came up early and let me know. There was no phone number, etc. available to find the nearest one. Second, the fedex desk there simply sucks. When you get near cut-off time, they simply process what they can and toss the rest into the "tomorrow" pile. If it absolutely, positively, HAS to be there the next day, DO NOT trust these people. Period. Watch them like a hawk and see to it that you get a time-stamped receipt for your package. read more

Brought in a box to ship. I asked for some tape to mend one corner. On seeing the corner, I was informed that I'd need to buy a new box. The attendant offered to sell a new box, pack it and ship it - and I wouldn't have to wait. I simply paid for the box and shipping and walked away. OK, that was pretty easy. Not five stars simply because tape would have been STRONGER than the original box and I didn't think it was necessary to buy a new box. If you are looking to take advantage of the Kinkos/FedEx self-serve options then stop in here. One advantage is the free parking lot for the shopping center which may save you some time if you are in a hurry and don't want to circle the block for 20 minute in order to knock out some basic photocopy/scanning tasks. That being said, if you are looking for a location to support heavy duty office or project related jobs (especially in the vein of design/photography) you would be better off to look for another location. The attention to detail, proficiency with the equipment, and general motivation of the staff seems to hover at a pretty low level here. Unless the leadership/management decides to make a dedicated effort to up their game at this location I don't see the situation changing anytime soon. You know when you are desperate? When the special banner you ordered didn't show up on schedule, and now it looks like the order didn't go through at all? Well, that was me on Friday, September 7th. Big Designer Sidewalk Sale and no banner for our booth. Aaaaarrrrrgh! Or words to that effect. I drove to the FedEx in Lower Queen Anne and went in. When a young saleswoman asked me what kind of help I needed, I said, "I don't know if you can help, but here is the situation...." When I finished she said, "I can help with that." She sent me to the computer to create a design, told me that, in fact, the banners were on sale, and comforted me mightily by saying they could get it done by 9pm. And they did, and it was beautiful. I e-mailed two PDF files to be printed. When I arrived, I gave the woman my name and she asked how many copies. I told her one of the one file on 32LB super-bright (color copy) and one of the other file on plain paper (black & white). In about 15 seconds they were ready and looked perfect! I told her that I needed to cut and laminate them as well and though I have used the cutting board there before, I needed help with the "self-laminating" machine. She came over and told me a little about hot to use the machine. I cut all my pieces of paper and then realized I still needed some more specific help. Another guy came over and helped me promptly. Then toward the end David G was very friendly and asked if I needed anything else. I told him I needed them hole-punched and ring-binded and asked if they sold the rings there. He said for that service I'd have to leave them and come back. I explained to him that I don't mind doing it myself and he showed me the rings hanging on the shelf. He rung me up on another register and I was on my way. Everyone was very friendly and helpful and I knew I was in good hands. I've been to this location several times before for simple print-jobs and always been taken care of very well also! read more

I wanted few pages to be spiral bound. BIG MISTAKE. The guy said it will take "few minutes" . We waited there. Then he comes and asked us to finish up other work because it might take 15 minutes more. We strolled outside for almost 30 minutes, went back in there to see him attending to other customers while my pages were left unattended. As soon as he saw us, he quickly asked someone else to do his work and carried on with other things. It finally took 3 hours to spiral bind 15 pages of which one page tore as soon as I flipped it open and some of them were not placed properly. He's like "I can't help it" ... Seriously? Why offer such services in the first place if they don't have patience to carry it out properly? Never going here again. read more

Snowy and her team have always gone WAY above and beyond to help with my projects for the restaurant. Including, but not limited to rushing orders due to MY mistakes. However even more than the incredible service, the whole staff is just really nice people. Polite, engaging, professional, and most important......patient. Printing photos is a necessary part of my photography class. It costs money, and I am okay with that. What I am not okay with is the grumpy guy at the counter who asked me "don't they teach you anything in that class?" Screw you. First of all, I can print photos anywhere, this is convenient. Second, why is it taking YOU so long, didn't they teach YOU anything? And, they tried to charge me for color prints, and my prints were black and white. Just for reference, it took half an hour for them to print six pages, and another ten minutes to pay. Maybe you, Grumpy Guy, should go back to Customer Service School. I haven't been here since about 2006 when I was had used Kinkos for some printing jobs and was consistently frustrated with the lack of professionalism and several failed print jobs. So I decided to brave them again, and this time use them for their FedEx capabilities. But once again I find their (lack of ) helpfulness consistent with my previous experiences. I brought a box/package wrapped in brown shipping-paper. They said they could not accept a wrapped box, but did not offer a solution. After probing the two gentlemen the only solution offered was to charge to create a custom box for $25 (before the shipping cost). Come one really? Very frustrating. read more

I definitely think it was a bit expensive to ship but maybe that's because my items were somewhat heavy (I didn't think so, 10lbs), but the guys working there were super friendly. I had no idea how to pack all of my things and I wasn't sure what to do and they were EXTREMELY helpful with packing, shipping, and just talking to me while I waited for him to finish. Shout out to Center Manager Snowy Yan for first class service in remedying a most stressful situation resulting from an employee error (again...it happens). Snowy went above and beyond to take care of making right and resolving an unfortunate situation. Ultimately, I couldn't be more pleased with the outcome and the exceptional customer service from Snowy. This review potentially could have been a two star; if not for the manager Aaron! I came in the store on Monday during the afternoon and was put off by the surly and strange attitude of the guy I spoke to. I came in with some questions about how to print a "zine" type booklet and he begrudgingly gave me advice. HOWEVER when I came back in today to print out my booklets, the manager Aaron helped me, and was incredibly pleasant and hecka awesome.
