While I was in mailing an irregular sized package, I noticed several regular customers making drop offs and pick up all very friendly with the staff. I've come to this FedEx location a couple times, and I usually don't have too many gripes. I usually am able to grab a street parking spot out front, and I've come around lunch to late afternoon. This most recent time I went, I will have to say the customer service was a little lacking. Granted, it was around Christmas time so I can imagine the employee may have dealt with other harder-to-deal with customers. He had a slight attitude with any question I had. I came with two packages to ship out, not in boxes. I brought one box that could potentially fit one of the items. I asked if I could use it, he said due to needing cushions, that I would need to get a bigger box. I had no problem buying the boxes. There was again some attitude. All in all, the cost turned out to be over $150 for these packages, with each package being around 5-10lbs. So I'll say this place is a little on the pricier side, but the packages made it to their destinations decently quickly. I will say this may not be the case every time. A few years ago, I shipped a similar package, size and shape, and the service was great and it was much less in cost. Though I now try to use other places to ship out anything I may need. read more

With all the thefts from people taking packages off porches it would be nice if they could make their fucking time right. Not everyone gets to stay at home and wait for packages. The worst customer service I've received in years! I had to return two pillows in the mail that were purchased from an excellent vendor. The box they used was dented in one area. That's probably due to the fact that it's a pillow. I returned two in the same box, as per instructions. That filled the box completely. I taped everything, placed the label on it, and dropped it off at this Fed Ex location. The guy there REFUSED TO ACCEPT THE BOX! He said it was too damaged and I would instead need to purchase one for $10! I pointed out that the box is in near perfect condition and that it's just a pillow and I was instructed to ship it this way. He refused w/o a purchase of a new box. WHAT A JERK! I walked out, drove to another Fed Ex drop off location who happily accepted my shipment and gave me a receipt. The package was shipped and received with no problems. If there was a negative star rating for FedEx I would give it 5 negative stars. I have dealt with them twice this year and both were EPIC fails. A few months ago I paid extra for FedEx to print and deliver cards I needed. It was GUARANTEED for delivery by the deadline. The day before it was due, I got a call from FedEx that the cards were printed but there was no one from FedEx to pick it up. What?! But you are FedEx, what do you mean you can't pick it up? Want me to send an Uber or Lyft for you since you can't seem to do your job? Yesterday, I called FedEx 3-4 times to confirm a change address for my shipment. At the time, FedEx had not even received the package from Frontier Airlines who lost my bag in Denver. All they had was a shipping label. I arrived in Mobile, AL with nothing except the clothes on my back on Monday. Frontier who will also be getting 5 negative stars sent my suitcase home to CA even though I called to change the shipping address before Frontier sent it to FedEx. I was informed the correct address was received and that the package would arrive in Mobile, AL at 10:30 today (Wed). When I checked tracking on line last night the package was still going to CA!!! I called Fedex and the rep last night and she confirmed package would arrive in AL today and address on line had been updated. I called this morning and my suitcase is still going to CA and then will come back to AL tomorrow (thurs). Multiple times I received a confirmation my package would arrive today and address was changed, only to find out that it's going to original address in CA and then coming to AL. I am leaving on Friday. Why would I need a suitcase on Thursday? Leave the bag in CA. I asked FedEx to intercept the tracking when the bag arrived in CA today and deliver to my house., and cancel the shipment to AL. There will be a part two to this review. I want to see if they fail on this instruction too. FedEx for your sake, you better pray Amazon does not put you out of business. Their customer service is 110% better than yours and packages arrive on time and accurately. If it doesn't they make it right. You have continued to be an epic fail over and over. read more

Talk about living up to the LOWEST possible standards of customer care. I had left my phone at home by mistake and was unsure if I had the correct zip code for my package. The man behind the counter...on a computer...at a shipping store...said he was unable to help me locate or confirm the zip code. Even though I knew the street address and the name of the city. When I asked if I could look it up on the self-service station just to be sure, he first looked at his watch and then said "No, we're closed." I guess he was simply DONE serving me? Earlier, as I was still waiting (interminably) to be helped, another customer came in with an urgent printing project. The second store associate, who was clocking out, told her she had already shut down the printers and suggested she go to a different nearby location -- even though there were still 15 minutes left before closing. "Yes, I think I would prefer to go somewhere I can actually be helped," the woman said as she left. Sadly, I ended up being forced to do the same. Two different employees. Does the high volume of business traffic mean FedEx doesn't have to pay attention to quality? The printer couldn't print one of my pdfs and charged me $1 for it twice anyway. Someone else was having the same problem. They refunded it but I had to go on the computer to print the same 9 page back and white document which for some reason cost $5.50 plus $1.80 for the couple minutes to log on and print it. So it only cost 7 times as much as it was supposed to. read more

The worst service I've experienced with FedEx. Three day guarantee ! NO PACKAGE. Called and held for 55 minutes. Agent stated my package was sent to Memphis and due to weather held until Monday. WAIT! I can see the tracking on line. Left San Diego/Commerce City, CA to Bloomfield CO. Arrived yesterday at 2pm. Bloomfield is 1 hour away from where the package needs to be delivered. I spoke with a supervisor. He didn't know why it's still at Bloomfield Office. Promised to contact them and call me. TWO HOURS Later I called again. No, the previous agent never contacted them. Now it's too late to call Bloomfield office. UPS is my choice after this fiasco. read more

Criminals and thieves. The fat, ginger-bearded kid was extremely rude (because no, it is not "a dead giveaway" that you are not allowed to use duct-tape on packages with FedEx - a policy designed to get you to buy a $6 box). Unfortunately, I left my cell phone on the counter when I left, exasperated with their inability to explain their corporate policy on the boxes. When I returned (the second time) to ask if they had seen it, the lady waived her hands saying, "oh no, we haven't seen anything - we don't have anything here." Too bad. I went home and turned on my free locator service with AVG Mobile and it put the phone square in the middle of the back room, with a wifi signal less than a minute old. When I returned and told them I had the locator service and it had placed the phone in the store, the lady swore "she thought it was her coworkers phone!!!" Yeah right. These people want to run national mail?? Strange how their number one sub-contractor is USPS. read more

Avoid, avoid! Where should I start? Unhelpful for the most part? Yes. Incompetent? Yes. Don't give a shit? Yes. I got zero help in the least and was not told a shred of ANYTHING about FedEx's rules regarding shipping a rifle to the manufacturer for repairs under warranty. As such, I didn't know I had an option of sending it via ground and not 2-Day Air. The 2-Day Air charge was just over $200 for a 15 lb package. Yes, that's right. $200. I was given no guidance, no instruction, and indeed was told directly by the worthless store manager that I had no option but to send it by air - and this was after several people flipped through the Fed Ex shipping manual. Were they just incompetent or outright lying? I found out later from a licensed firearms dealer that yes indeed they ship firearms via ground and it's done ALL the time. He told me I had been "shafted" and "robbed." At that point I had to question as to whether the manager who charged me this ridiculous price was doing this because he was anti-gun and per shipping rules I had to notify them that I was shipping an unloaded rifle. And don't bother contacting their national customer service people; they'll give you a generic robo-response, pretend to scold the person that responded in such a way as to that they clearly did NOT read the email sent them, and then eventually stop responding entirely - without resolving the issue, giving me some sort of refund or at least consolation that the assholes at this location had some kind of re-training or SOMETHING to get their heads out of their buttholes. And they have a very poor selection of boxes and that also added to the cost of shipping my rifle. Screw these people. NEVER AGAIN. SCUM!!!! read more

I went into FedEx to ship a small ground package and was expecting "to get my eyeballs riped out" but the whole charge including the box was $11. Not only was the price good but so was the service, very professional, very friendly. I can only tell people to not use FED EX. Had a package supposed to be delivered to my house. They left a "permission slip" for signature, I did that on the 5th of Dec. Here is it the 8th and no package, every time I check tracking it says that day and nothing gets delivered. No one rings the bell, no one comes (yes I have been at home most of the time). Now the tracking says it will be delivered on the 13th of December........................... When I got on the chat line with Fed Ex, the guy at the other end gave me a phone number for Mexico. Well it was shipped from New Mexico, I guess thats close enough for him, but did not do me any good. Also the tracking says "attempted delivery" for some of the days. Well the permission slip has been on the door since Wed., and I sure have not heard the doorbell ring. read more

Do NOT go here if you need copies. They have ONE copier and anyone and everyone's jobs can jump ahead of you on it. Waited ten minutes in line behind an idiot who had him running back and forth to this one copier for multiple small copy jobs, and by the time I got up to talk to the guy who finally told me the deal, I would have had to wait longer in the copy line behind several other people. I finally gave up and begged my neighbor print these 20 color copies for me. This is a serious bummer, because this location is the closest to where I live. read more

I had to ship 20 pieces of artwork from Denver to Baltimore. It couldn't have been easier! The staff was incredibly helpful and professional. All I had to do was bring my items into the store and fill out the paperwork. They wrapped, packaged and shipped everything that day. They said the receipts would be emailed to me, and they were. One person ahead of me and of course he was being chatted up the whole time by the counter clerk. Ok, now lets put in on , wait no, another phone call. Phone call, another phone call, etc. etc. All this time I am waiting only because I needed a blank domestic waybill to fill out....on my own...without help, ya. No they could not leave any of those out at the self-service counter. No, sir you just need to wait your turn and be patient. Oh and that box you want to send your documents in costs $2, no, wait thats $2.15 with tax. After I finally gave up, threw my $3 at the clerk without getting my change I went home to see if there were any other way to send my 4.25 lb box of documents overnight to Miami Beach. Yes, its called USPS Express. What? FREE BOXES? WHAT? IT COSTS 1/2 OF WHAT FEDEX WANTED? $45 flat rate vs. Fedex overnight for $90. I was even able to print out my waybill and pay online at home!! I had a package on the truck for delivery on 4/4/2017 and because it go dark the driver did not delivery it he was scared of the dark and had to stop for the night . this driver need to be let go now I have to wait till Saturday for my package because they pass it over to the post office where they have some since and they are not scared off the dark if the post office has to do your work for you lazy workers why are you in business . read more
