Package number 5 in recent months, only 1 arrived as promised. Today, a package requiring a signature showed Delivery By End Of Day. Now, at 5:45, it shows Delivery Pending, Delayed. We waited all day for NOTHING! What a pathetic company. read more

This location has very experienced personnel that could and will go the extra mile for their customers. If an issue arises, I would recommend a quick word with senior personnel. Thank you to the lady upfront!! A very complicated situation was overturned seamlessly. Day 4 and no trucks coming to POINT ROBERTS, Wa. Customer service just keeps saying package on the truck and on the way to deliver. I have no idea where the package is and therefore don't have the option to pick it up. It was a 2 day delivery. So far it's been 7 days for a 2 day delivery. I needed to mail my kid in OR a care package and the US post offices are closed today due to the long holiday weekend (President's Day on Monday, so they're closed today on Saturday. Go figure). So I plugged this FedEx office into my car's GPS and proceeded to drive here straight from my home in Vancouver. The border crossing was CRAZY backed-up today and it took me TWO HOURS to get through. Argh. I got to this FedEx office immediately behind the Bellingham Airport at exactly 1:10pm - and it was locked up tight as a drum and not a soul was around. I checked my phone to see the hours of operation here: it closes at 1pm! ARGH. I checked my phone to see the operating hours of the nearest UPS store: it was only 2.2 miles from here and open until 5pm on Saturdays. So that's where I went - and where I'll go from now on, whenever the USPO is closed. I don't know why FedEx would have abbreviated weekend hours when their nearby competitors do not. (I might add that the UPS store is open on Sundays and this FedEx is closed on Sundays, FYI). Anyhow, good to know. read more

My experience with Fedex (see below) relates to the shipping corporation, not this fine local business. I ordered a printer on eBay. Fedex promised delivery on December 3, 2021. Today is December 15 and still no delivery. Tracking shows they tried on December 13, but we were home and no delivery was attempted. Phoned Fedex and was told it wasn't a real delivery attempt, just a scan of the box at a warehouse. Tracking mechanism is useless. Phone help is inaccurate and dishonest. Impossible to reach anyone by phone who isn't in the Carribean. You can disregard any emails and tracking information--it is useless!! I spent 19 minutes on the phone yesterday and another 15 minutes today and still no solid information or delivery/pick-up guarantee. Folks, use the US Postal service, NOT FEDEX. R. I was attempting to send off a medical test with fragile contents that needed to be refrigerated that I had left sitting so plainly beside my front door on a large chest freezer. I even explained that my package was sitting by my front door on a chest freezer and even then, they missed it twice. I called 3 times to check on the progress of the driver the second time i called was after they had already been here for the last time however I was still told they were on their way. So the driver obviously kept going to the wrong place You would think if the driver didn't see a large chest freezer they might get the idea they were in the wrong place and try to find the right one. Or call me to so I could direct them to my package. So my delicate medical test that needs to be refrigerated sat outside in the sun from 8 am to 5 pm. I doubt my insurance will pay for another on if this turns out to be unusable. I was directed finally to go to a drop box and assured it would go out today but when I drove out to the nearest one they told me it would be taken mid-morning the next day. I didn't want to let my sample sit that long in refrigerated so I scheduled another pick up for tomorrow. We will see if they can figure it out this time. I don't understand why, after me calling the first time and telling them the package was outside the whole time and that they went to the wrong place they would do the exact same thing again. Why not make more of an effort to find the right place since I was contacting them and telling them I'm home and its outside. Even pizza delivery people call when they can't find the right place. read more

I was completely floored by the excellent service I received yesterday. The on site manager that was there went out of her way to ensure I got my package and did not need to wait for re-delivery the following day. She let me know the driver would be back after the normal closing time. Instead of turning me away she got a message to the driver who met me in the parking lot and delivered my package directly to me! Great job ladies!!! read more

You know when you're waiting for an extremely important package to arrive at the house while you're at work and you text your teenagers and IMPLORE them to please wait by the door so they can sign for it? And you know how when, two hours later, you get a text from said teenager(s) that, oops, they slept through the doorbell (nevermind that it's now past noon!)? This may or may not have happened to me on a recent sunny day in the Ham; but the situation was quickly resolved when I followed the handy-dandy directions on the note left by Fed Ex, traveled to their location north of BLI (um, that's Bellingham INTERNATIONAL Airport, people), showed my ID to the friendly attendant, and quickly took possession of said package. The only problem I had with the entire transaction (besides sleepy teens) was getting from their location back to the freeway - I accidentally turned into the airport drop-off/pick-up area and got stuck behind a parking shuttle (I didn't even know we HAD those here...it's like we're becoming a metropolis or something). But this, of course, has nothing to do with the fine folks at FedEx. Oh, and my package was in great condition and I'm enjoying it this very moment! So don't fret, folks. If you find yourself without your package just make a quick trip out past the airport and you'll be fine! read more

I own my own business which requires shipping and I use Fedex and the postal service for my shipping needs. I have been dropping off my Fedex packages at the Mitchell way location for the past 6 years and the start are always attentive and friendly. The location is near the airport which offers easy and convenient access from the freeway . My Fedex delivery person Chris always does a great job . I highly recommend Fedex. read more

FedEx is now another delivery service that has left a package on the front porch in plain view of the street! That makes USPS and UPS a poor threesome. The note on the package was ignored in 2 cases and todays package was only 4 feet from a porch concealing bush. Don't these people realize that there are thieves out there just waiting? Oct 26: Ordered items Amazon Prime with guaranteed two day Fed Ex delivery. Delivery date scheduled for October 28. Fed Ex: we know them: "When it absolutely, positively . . ." October 28 at 9:40 AM: package scanned as arrived Bellingham airport. Next step obviously would be to put it onto truck for San Juan Islands delivery. October 28, 29, 30, 31, and Nov 1: no delivery. Nov. 1 Noon: Fed Ex rep tells me they don't know where package is, but someone will get definitely back to me within 2 hours. Nov 1, 1:00 PM: item still at Bellingham airport according to track package feature on Fed Ex website. Nov 1 1:15: Amazon rep contacted FedEx at my request. According to Fed Ex rep, plane arriving 40 minutes late on October 28 caused the delivery delay. But delivery is promised mere six days after package arrived local airport. Nov 1, 2:00PM: still no call back from FedEx. Hmm 40 minute flight delay causes six day delivery delay. Oh and phone delay too I suppose. read more
