I order a phone was up waiting for it the delivery driver came to the door put the same on the door that he came and left didn't knock, didn't ring the bell, didn't wait and when I saw him I ran out he looked at me and pulled off. I then called the number on the door tag to be told they would redeliver before 5 but they never came. And when I called back I was told my package was never able to redeliver the same day and that I would have to wait until Monday. This FedEx center has the worst delivery I've ever encountered. For a second shipment delivery took 6x as long as it should have. One item was even on its way back to vendor, another item said 'incorrect address' even though address was correct. Fed up with having to make so many calls to vendors and FedEx to correct inept delivery system. The only upside is I did get frequent updated tracking information, so was able to retrieve shipments before they were returned to vendors. read more

Delivery driver never attempted any delivery - they REFUSE to give my phone number to the delivery driver so that I can coordinate with them to receive my package. I stayed home all day. This has happened for 4 days in a row now - I am working from home, home all day, and they tell me "delivery was attempted". Like hell it was. Nobody came. No call, no knock, no door tag. I am now going to need to take an expensive uber ride to this center to do their job for them. They REFUSE to transfer the package to a fedex location closer to me. They have lied to me on the phone, they have told me they would transfer me to my "case agent" and then hung up on me, and they refuse to provide any meaningful assistance of any kind whatsoever. This has been going on for days. I've made dozens of calls, and spent hours listening to their infernal hold music. I will never use FedEx again, however much more it means I have to pay. This has been the worst shipping experience I have ever had - incompetence and lies top to bottom. Avoid this place at all costs. Unless you have an IQ below 75 and the drive/motivation of a sea slug - in that case, they may have a delivery job for you! read more

I was panicking, I was given two weeks to move from a large house in Baltimore to Las Vegas. It was too expensive for me to get a POD so I called FedEx ship center and found out that they do ship large items. I sent 7 large boxes most within 30-40lb range and it cost me $700 total. That is much better than the $3k I was about to pay for a POD. The girl working there was extremely helpful making sure that everything was wrapped up properly to ensure safe travels. Within two weeks in Vegas, I got all of my items. For some reason they all got here on different days, but the fact that I got them here, for much less expensive and easier was pretty big. I would do cross country moving like this again in a heartbeat. read more

Terrible service. They tell you they are delivering something on a Saturday before 4PM, and then try to do you "a favor" by coming a day earlier, unannounced, when you are not home. The package is delayed another couple of days as they reschedule the delivery because you were not home when they came. This early delivery when not expected happened twice, so in the future I am going to refuse buying any shipments of anything handled by FEDEX. read more

THE WORST CARRIER EVER. I'm sure FedEx does their regular deliveries to Downtown Baltimore area and if you do, you should know Lexington Market. Obviously the market closes before 6:00 pm everyday. First, the delivery says will be delivered by 4:30 pm so we waited for the package until 5:50 pm and no one showed up. Before 5:00 pm, I called FedEx and the rep said she left a note for the driver to be there before 5:30 pm. Later that night, delivery status changed to "Attempted delivery, business closed/no one responded" ...Really? So I called that night again and rep left another memo for the driver as it shows that 2nd delivery will be attempted the next day. Next day comes, no one comes to deliver and delivery status changed to "pending." I called back to FedEx corporate and they tell me they can't reach this local facility....... so what now? read more

HORRIBLE!!! They managed to "lose" a 10ft carpet and then tell me there was nothing they could do. Not one package has arrived on time, it's always at least 3 days late. I've had to track down my package before at a different fedex location. And now they are claiming they attempted to deliver my package but no one was home. I was sitting on my couch next to my front door at the time and even checked my camera. No one came to my house. I called 10 mins after they claimed they tried and complained and all I ever got was they tried to contact the driver but didn't get ahold of them and it will be delivered the next business day. Horrible experience!!! Claimed they attempted a delivery on 2/13/19 at 10:30am. Yet no door tag left on my door. So they attempted to redeliver the next day by 8pm. Yet at 8pm. No package and no door tag. Called customer service who showed they didn't even attempt to deliver it for some reason. So I go to the facility where the un pleasant female gave me attitude. I asked to speak with a manager but of course they were all busy. She also refused to give her name so I couldn't complain about her. Went home watched 48 hours of my front door video security footage. No Attempts Were Ever Made !!! Sad excuse Fed Ex is horrible and apparently doesn't care. I'm sure there's someone (or a few people) who work at this location who have built a whole house, wardrobe and a new lifestyle from the things they've STOLEN from others. This is the ONLY company I know where you can steal and remain employed, THIS LOCATION SPECIFICALLY. They purposely don't scan items so they can be deemed as "lost" & they can "magically" disappear to go home with them. I've called to complain, written emails to corporate at least 20 times in the last 2 years alone. If it's fedex's responsibility to deliver my package, why is it when I ask where's my package, they say "I don't know". And on this particular occasion, it was not just ONE but TWO packages. The Fed Ex drivers are terrible in my area. I was awaiting a package for my business and was present at the location at 8 am for a package that was to be delivered no later than 1030am. I happened to check the status of the delivery at 950am, and it said an attempt had been made to deliver the package, which was a complete lie. No Fed Ex truck stopped in front or near my location. Upon contacting customer service, they stated the driver said there was no access to the location, another lie. The businesses in my building open early, and the gate to the courtyard opens at 7am on weekdays. This is not the first time I have had this issue. If I could give the driver a negative number, I would. It would also be much easier to be able to contact the Fed Ex facility directly, but there is only an 800 number, which makes it difficult to get a straight answer. That's why I NEVER use Fed Ex, and I HATE it when my vendors do!! read more

I actually did get door tags on my garage, so they were here, they just never tried to contact me. Even after I wrote them a note on the first door tag that says. I'm home use the door! I use this facility to ship and receive small live reptiles (I am a small business owner). Every time I've had packages shipped to me here the customer service has been top notch; the lady working the counter goes above and beyond to secure these shipments. Outgoing shipments have received the same level of care as well. Any issues that have occurred (2 weather related delays and a mechanical issue on a plane) over the four year span have not been the fault of this facility, and were handled by FEDEX to my satisfaction. read more

As a business, we get deliveries several times per week. The FedEx center/hub in Linthicum Maryland is the worst. Drivers show up at 9:54, 10:11, 10:22, 10:14, 2:49, 3:32, 3:50, 4:36, 5:16, 5:58, and TODAY was 6:04. Where is the consistency? Excuses range from, "tractor trailer overturned, delayed" to "local weather delay" (no bad weather within 300 miles), and the best was "your driver left early and therefore we will re-attempt delivery on the next business day" (meaning Monday-Friday only). As a business, we need our shipments. How can we keep products in stock and have good customer service when we can't get our deliveries or in a timely fashion? Answer - we cannot. Use another carrier you say? Answer - in most cases, another carrier is not offered and when it is offered, be rest-assured we use a different one. If you are a fellow business within the this delivery area, complain, complain, complain, and complain louder and maybe, just Maybe, something will change...yeah, and we don't need air to breathe. Point being, choose another carrier whenever possible because FedEx is absolutely horrible. (Feel free to call and we'll give you an earful of how much MORE there is to this story). read more

Then after speaking to a supervisor I've been told that due to the high volume of packages the driver decided that he would just put in the system that a delivery attempt was made 3x when it really wasn't. Fedex is responsible for my missing Amazon purchases worth about $500. They claim they delivered the packages. But we didn't receive them. I was at home to receive the packages and they never came. In this experience, Customer Service was horrible. Amazon sends you to the seller; the seller sends you to the delivery company. The delivery company tries to send you back to either of these two parties. Then FedEx gives the appearance of attentiveness with their "Virtual Assistant" and call center runaround, but in reality you just end up chasing your tail. So you don't receive your purchases and you have lost your hard earned money. This experience has been so disheartening that I am wondering if the delivery workers are simply just tired, overworked, underpaid, and prone to regular delivery errors--especially around the holidays; or whether droves of criminals are actively stalking the FedEx truck drivers in order to steal potentially valuable packages; or if there is something more afoot within the company vis a vis the drivers. Anyway We live in the kind of small cul de sac where we can see everything and everyone all the time. If someone stole these packages then it would be on camera. Right? Our porch camera revealed that no such delivery took place at our home at the time Fedex is asserting. I know it's the season for missing packages, but this is not a customer issue--this is a FedEx issue. They need to find our packages and deliver them, or make this right in terms of a refund. They cannot continue to shield themselves from liability. If this keeps up, I smell a major class action lawsuit against FedEx on the horizon. Kelly F spoke the gospel about the drivers not delivering packages. First thing that we do after work is to walk our 2 dogs, and several times we saw the driver do a U-turn out of our parking lot while never even stopping. We watch the post office and UPS trucks stop and get out all the time, but these guys don't. The other day I left the door ticket on our front window with a note that I was home and for the FedEx deliverer to knock on the door. Surprise, surprise, nobody shows up but at 4:45 it was marked no one there to sign for package. I call the center and tell them I have a photograph proving my ticket was up and I was home and magically the driver returns 20 minutes later and has my package. These guys actually spend more time trying to get out of work than doing the actual work. read more
