It happened a few times with Fedex now: we pay for priority overnight, shipment is out for delivery and it does not get delivered in the morning, noon, or afternoon....try again tomorrow. Delivery attempted at 11.45 ( no signature required), we have cameras, they were never here, just ran out of time to deliver befere noon guaranteed....or we can pick up at this address, no excuse Recommendation is, if you can, save money and hassle and use Amazon overnight, for a small fee they deliver overnight early in the morning. We were pleasantly surprised by the customer service that we received by Sheila. She was diligent and professional and helped us mail our wedding favors to our venue. I'm not going to lie, we had very low expectations from the reviews and from other locations services since we moved to Miami...again, we were VERY pleasantly surprised by the service we received at this location. I was supposed to receive a package from these folks today (Saturday) but the Fedex driver didn't bother to call my unit at the security gate, he just turned around--ugh...so down I go to pick up the package at their shipping center on 21st Street. It's not easy to find, as it's located deep within a commercial area. There's quite a number of parking spots to the right of the entrance. The driver never came in the yard and left a notice on the mailbox! I don't live in the mailbox! The notice saying NOONE was home but how would he know if he never came in the yard and didn't ring the doorbell??? Then when I called FedEx the agent lied saying the driver will come back out and deliver the package and that was a lie! The best way to get here is to find 102 Ave. and then find 21 St. And I start the review with the directions because you could get lost in the maze of warehouses. The Fedex World Service Center sits on a curb, with window covered in black film and several drop boxes around. The Fedex logo is somewhat hidden, but if you follow the drop boxes, you will see the logo. Inside they sell all types of boxes, tubes, bubble wrap and tape you need to ship around the world. At the counter you find the scales and the price charts. The clerks are awesome here. They are the fastest people I have seen in action. No wonder the US Post Office is bankrupt. They are not afraid to switch languages to get their customers going. Not only that, if you schedule a pick up, and have more packages about to be delivered, they will hold all items waiting for you. Wish I could give it zero stars. Any time FedEx is "delivering" a package of mine, I automatically know that I'm going to have to go pick it up at this facility. Today they claim they attempted a delivery - my security cameras say otherwise. Their drivers are simply too lazy to walk up to my door because there's an (unlocked) gate. The women working at the facility don't care that you've been inconvenienced and don't make the process any easier. I've been waiting at the center for 45 minutes now and have been asked to stand outside because they close in an hour. The customer service is nonexistent. read more

My ipad was Fedex'd to arrive Thursday, 8/12 but instead I got a text that said they were running late and would deliver the next day. The next day, Friday, I got the same text that said they would deliver Monday. Monday I got the same message again that said Tuesday. I called them and some tracker said that the drivers hours keep running out before they get to my address. This happens frequently buy usually a 1 day delay, this 5 day no show sets a record. The Apple dealer paid good money to Fedex my ipad yet I had to pick it up myself and 5 days late. I remember when Fedex had a sterling reputation for their service. Every time I order something and I realized it is being shipped with Fed Ex I CRINGE because I know it'll be sorted through this facility. Their drivers are a nightmare. To come up to my apt you need to be let up (press apt #, it literally says it on the door). I end up having to pick up my package every time because they don't bother to come up to my door. If I could give 0 stars I would. So upset with Fedex and customer service. I was supposed to receive a shipment today (I sent it myself) and required no signature. I get shipments all the time and if no one is home, they just leave it at the front door. They said a signature was required (which it wasnt) and now will not deliver my package until the next day. On two occasions, Wed 7/3 and on Fri 7/5, the Fedex driver refused to deliver my package even though I was home all day both times. I say the driver refused because on Tue 7/2 it seems (another driver) did deliver a package to me from the same shipper; he even called me on my cellphone to ensure I received it. I was home all day on Fri 7/5 and the driver said at 1:48 pm that I was not home or did not have access into the building. I live in a condominium and other agencies like UPS can enter without trouble. There are even instructions on the keypad to enter the building. All that needs to be done is to dial my apartment number and we can grant access immediately; also, most of the time people are coming in and out, so entering is not an issue; and lastly, my personal cellphone can be called too. I spoke with customer support a total of 3 times on Fri 7/5 about this. I spoke with a lady whose name I do not recall at 2:20pm, then with Robert around 9:00pm, and then with Martha (a supervisor) a few minutes later. I am upset that customer support could not problem-solve with me or give me suggestions to resolve this issue. I will have upcoming deliveries from FedEx and it concerns me that Martha could not tell me how to address this issue going forward. I asked if everyone in my building expecting deliveries from Fedex would have to go through this, and all I got was a simple "I cannot answer that." Now, I have to wait until Mon 7/8 for the package to be delivered to a local Walgreens. From this I hope that all parties involved are informed and trained about how to handle similar situations going forward and ensure the driver will make corrections on his behavior. read more

I paid the Premium for a Saturday(Dec 1) Noon delivery.....when it did not show up by 4, I began the excruciating process of calling FedEx. They said no one was home....which was entirely false. My friend was there all day. Also, there was no "Signature Required"....so it should have been left in the same place it has been for this delivery for almost 20 years. When I talked to the Location Sat evening, the lady at this Location said the Manager was gone and would call me back Monday am. I got a call Monday at 6:30AM from a woman who said it would be there by 10:30....at 11:30 it had not arrived. So I called again, and was told that Nate(at the location) would have it on the truck for a 4:00PM delivery....that also did not occur. When I was directed back to the Location and asked for the Manager (Nicky Tenn-Yuk I was told), I was transferred to a woman's VM. The next morning at 8:30, I received a call from Scott who said he was the Station's Security. He said he "intercepted" the package and opened it. I had sent my friend a few hundred dollars in an envelope. Scott said it is FedEx Policy not to send cash....however, I had never heard nor seen this, and no one has ever asked me what was in my package. It's none of their business unless they suspect me sending Prohibited items. Scott said FedEx would send me a check for the cash, but the package would be sent to Memphis and it would take 6-8 weeks. I told him that was completely unacceptable. I have filed(through the difficult Customer Service 800 number) a Complaint. Something does not add up here....FedEx did not deliver my package when they said they would on 3 different occasions. Someone opened my package for "security reasons" .Scott said he did, but I believe it had already been opened....As a Retired Airline Captain, I know what is Legal and Not....Cash may not be advised, but those who send Christmas or Birthday cards with cash take that risk on their own. Therefore, I question Scott's reasoning, and legality, for opening a flat envelope. If I don't hear from FedEx today, I will send this out on social media. It happened...again! Flowers left Memphis Friday 4:40pm, I called them late Friday morning to request a Saturday "Hold for Pickup" and of course, nothing. The flowers left Memphis 4:40pm Friday afternoon, stayed up in the air all weekend (really that's what the FedEx told me - delay on airlines!) and made it to Miami Monday morning "at local station" Can we say DEAD FLOWERS - again. I called to ask what happened to the boxes between 4:40pm Friday and 7:30am Monday - the FedEx rep hung up on me! Now I am waiting to see how many days before the Miami local FedEx station takes to call me. I Just had great experience, today. I had schedule for delivery three packages. And Fedex delivered 2 of them at ~2:00 PM, I even say hi to the delivery guy and asked him for my third package. He said no I dont have anything else for you. so I ask "Do you think somebody else will deliver it later." He replied YES. Well at 3:26 while Im taking a shower I get a message on my phone from fedex... "Unable to deliver" so I immediately call fedex ((800) 463-3339) just to be told We are so sorry to miss you. So I asked them why was not the package left in front of the door, no explanation. they did not even attempt a second delivery for today. just said that the package was already at the station to go there and pick it up. only 6 miles away but it takes over 30 minutes to get there and another 30 or more to comeback. Oh by the way did I mention it was a study guide from Amazon that I need for my final saturday... Oh and that Im getting ready for a mock trial tomorrow and I'll leave at early in the morning and wont be back until 11:30PM... and that I dont have the time to go out. moreover there is a fedex 2 miles away from the house.
