Expected to receive prescription medication from a specialty pharmacy that is urgently needed. Got a delivery date of Friday 11/22/24. They then cancelled this delivery date and got a delivery date of Wednesday 11/27/24. They texted me that they would deliver in the morning before noon and the delivery would need a signature. I texted back yes, I would do that. I ran out as soon as the delivery truck rolled up and waved to the driver so I could sign and get the package, but she drove away. She did not attempt to text or call to say she was here before I saw her and ran out of the house and waved at her. They then wanted to postpone the delivery until 11/29/24. I said this was unacceptable because it is an urgently needed medication. Called customer support and they started a support ticket but would not let me speak to a case manager. They said it would be a priority and would be delivered later today, but we will see. read more

I had a negative experience with delivery. I paid for 1 day shipping but package was delayed an extra day understandably due to distance the item was coming from. However on the day it was to arrive, we were outside talking to neighbors when the truck pulled up. We waved to him to signal we are here. The driver sped off, parked across the street from the neighborhood, updated the delivery as "tried to deliver", uploaded a blurry photo of nothing, and left. We tried to call and report it and received no help other than the international headquarters who just said he will try again tomorrow. The driver never got out or made any attempt to deliver but rather avoided delivery altogether. Very put off by the bizarre incident. read more

The employees at this location openly acknowledged that their drivers racially profile people to avoid being robbed. I was told they will not deliver to my house because the driver deemed that standing outside with my 15 year old son and I qualifies as "suspicious activity." They refused to apologize and informed me that I would have to pick up from the distribution center in the future. I live in a private community an hour away in the middle of nowhere. I had forgotten the door tag, so the employee, who was very friendly and willing to help, tried to look up the package by address, recipient name, and sender zip code, but had no luck. They mishandle packages and they dont make attempt to deliver packages to customers. As I was leaving my house, I caught the lazy fedex guy put a door tag on my door. He was shocked and said I thought no one was home. Smh. Calhoun Place location: is a hot mess. Zero customer service here. Just my luck I missed a delivery and had to come here. After reading the reviews on this location, it seems as if there is never a good time to come here. As other reviews stated, there is only one individual working the front so service is rather slow. However, on the evening that I went, it wasn't too bad. Maybe it was because the older gentleman wasn't working that night. The line was at the door when I arrived at 5pm on a Friday evening. I didn't see anyone at the front counter for almost five minutes. I was tempted to leave and come back at another time, but I'm glad I didn't. The line moved at a decent pace. If patrons picking up a package had their slip and ID ready, the line would have moved a lot faster. I was in/out in less than 20 minutes, which wasn't bad given the number of people in front of me. I came in to pick up a package that was set to be delivered on Monday but was listed as already at the facility. I was really concerned about it getting on time because of the snow, so I came in on Saturday to see if I could pick it up. Ernest was incredibly helpful and offered to help find it if things weren't as busy later in the day. As of writing, I still don't know if he'll be able to find it or not, since not everything has been sorted yet, but it means the world to me that he offered and that he's willing to set aside time from his day to help me out. Company that is so well-known and has so many resources, yet tosses boxes from trucks and from sidewalks without opening gates or apparently a care -- other than speed. My boxes often arrive beat up and tossed into the yard (at the bottom of the four steps to the porch at times -- which as a wheelchair user, makes them impossible to retrieve). After the company shipped my package they contacted FedEx to let them know the package should be held at a location in my city for me to pick up. I received a call 2 nights ago at 10 at night asking if I still wanted it held at a location in my city, I said yes. I paid for next day shipping as well. Today I get an email saying my package has been delivered at my home!!! After having to take off of work, find someone to help me carry the package, as I am pregnant, I get home to find the box open and in horrible shape. I don't even know if anything is missing. I don't know what in the world happened to FedEx but I've gotten nothing but attitude from them for a while now. Today, I got a note saying I had a package to pick up. I wait patiently in line until my turn and this lady is all "NEXT!" Not "can I help you?" I give her the note and she asks for my ID. I give it to her. She snaps, "don't you have an ID with your correct address on it?" No, I really don't. I move a lot and I'd spend my life in the DMV if I had to update my address all the time. She sighs really big and goes to get my package. The company that sent the package accidentally sent me two emails with the same tracking number so I thought I had two packages and I asked nicely if there was two. She snapped, yet again, "NO. It's probably all in that box." Whoa. Really? I've been smiling and nice this entire time so I kinda feel like the attitude is out of line but it's Friday and I'm just ready to go home so I sign the paper and wait. Because I wasn't sure if she needed anything else or what. Can you guess what happened next? Yup, more attitude. "Yeah, that's all, you can go." I really wanted to tell her where SHE could go but I didn't because I doubt she would have cared. I've emailed FedEx about our delivery guy screwing with our packages and they simply do not care. Friendly and accommodating. I came here to pick up a package because they left me a little post it note. It ended up being a package for my dad and they let me pick it up. Granted we have the same last name. They also let me take a bunch of fedex shipping label pouches and bags which is always free but its convenient to just grab and go instead of having to order it for free from their website. I got there 10 minutes before their closing time and they didn't seem to be upset about it. My ID address didn't match the ID on package. Was asked to pick up a package for someone about an hour before close. The person I was picking up for talked to someone on the phone, who evidently was not as this facility, but said I was clear to pick it up. Except I wasn't. My ID was not useful. Nor was anything texted to me. Since "We can't take any information from the phone." So the person I'm picking up for calls the 800 number, tries to explain that I can pick up, over the phone. The corporate customer service rep tries to call this office, on the phone, but no one is picking up. Tell the person at the desk that weve done what shes asked and there is a call coming in to confirm I can pick it up. "Its not my job to answer the phone" Finally the message comes through on the computer, but my name is spelt slightly wrong. No package for me. Another few phone calls, name is corrected. Counter clerk goes to the back, and is gone over ten minutes. Literally no employees in the front of the store now. I can see her in the back moving some packages around. Finally comes back "cant find your package now, let me check the back" Goes into the shipping area for ten plus minutes. Then comes back to tell me it's too late and the package has been sent to another location. So a solid hour and 15 minutes wasted. That was my experience. But I'm not alone. In the 75 minutes I was there, I can say maybe 50% of the customers were able to accomplish what they had come there for. There were two counters running, but they got stopped up quickly and the line was out the door by closing time. The lady next to me needed to pick up a package for her business, had her ID but the clerk was not satisfied that she was authorized to pick it up on behalf of the company, she was wearing her companies shirt. Not sure everyone else's situation but any system that leads to their customers only being able to do what they are trying to do half the time needs to be overhauled. read more

Was made aware by tracking system that driver came by but nobody was home. No sticky left indicating anyone came. My wife was home all day waiting for this important package. First of all, don't lie like that, sounds to me the driver was super lazy that day. I was then notified by Fedex I could come that evening the office to pick it up between the hours of 730-815pm. When we arrived we were told the driver hadn't returned yet. Almost 8pm and now we're told that the driver was going to be a half hour before the driver returned and gave us the option to come back the next day which I did. Now I'm told that it was going to be delivered today, the package was with the driver and not at the Fedex office. Obviously this place is very disorganized to say the least. You have a major problem if your driver lies about making a delivery, it's not good for your business and definitely not good for your customers. Paid $44 dollars to have a letter FedEx'ed to my daughter. FedEx delivery guy didn't try my daughters outer door to her apartment and noted customer not available. My daughter called the 1-800 number and instructed them to deliver to local FedEx center and she would pick it up. Note, that is one of their options on their system. They did not do that, attempted to deliver the next day at her apartment and still did not try to enter the UNLOCKED outer door and deliver the package. In 30 seconds, they could have called and she would have come up and picked it up. You would think that a company with so much automation could do basic things. At this point they are refusing to return my $44 and they still haven't delivered the package successfully. read more

I've just had two weeks of zero-stars bad service from FedEx. I will never choose to use them ever again. I ordered furniture from Target. I then went to FedEx website & left instructions that it must be delivered to my apartment & not to the complex office blocks away. So they delivered it to the office anyway. After several calls it was finally redelivered to my apartment two days late. And damaged. (Unknown who is at fault there.) So Target sent me a replacement rushed with 2-day delivery. Same story. Went to website; indicated MUST be delivered to apartment; delivered to complex office. Called FedEx & was told the drivers can't even see the special instructions (So what's the point?) but they would deliver the next morning. Not delivered. Called & promised callback. No callback. Then the Rockville office just refused to deliver. Took 4 different higher-up before delivery guaranteed - now four days late. Things promised by customer service just disappeared until I started yelling & then magically reappeared in notes on my complaint. Told drivers only have personal phones & they can't always get in touch with them. Told no drivers available & then see truck pass my building 30 min. later. Terrible service! Never again! read more

minus one star. I lost my cell phone and had Asurion send me out another next day. Well 12.21 turned into 12.28, WTH! I have to wait almost a week for another cell phone. I left specific instructions for the driver and then I look on my tracking updates to see that delivery has been attempted when it hadn't. I would give this location and the entire company -100 if that rating level was available. I have had the same experience that many others here have described, but multiplied by 1,000! On Wednesday, December 30, 2015, I paid $35.00 for overnight delivery of a specialty compounded prescription medicine for my pet. The package was shipped "NO SIGNATURE REQUIRED" so even if i had not been at home the package should have been left in front of my door, or worst case scenario, left with the leasing office here in the complex. I live in an extremely secure apartment building, so there is absolutely no concern about leaving packages in front of the apartment door. After waiting most of the morning, I opened the door around 1:30pm, thinking the driver may have just left it outside of the door without knocking, as Thursday was "technically" a regular workday when people might not be at home during the day. Imagine my surprise to find a door tag affixed to my door, indicating delivery had been attempted, but no one was there to sign for the package - and I could pick it up after 8pm. I spoke with FedEx customer service three times on Thursday, most notably my first phone call with them ended at 1:49pm. - which the rep and I both noted, as I was to receive a callback from them within two hours. I learned later that the driver had recorded that he had attempted a second delivery at 1:51pm --- TWO MINUTES after the phone call ended. Seriously??? Over the course of the afternoon, I spoke with three customer service reps in total, each of them placed the call on hold several times, telling me they were speaking directly with the dispatcher or manager at the Calhoun Place facility, and gee they were real sorry, but they couldn't contact the driver to have him return - so i would have to drive from Germantown, in the dark to a place i had never been - because the driver would return to the facility at 8pm, and i would have to collect the package then, and that the location closed at 8:15pm. When I arrived at the location, at 7:43pm, it was already closed. In fact another customer was also outside the door trying to get in, and on his phone speaking to FedEx, trying to get them to contact the employees at that location. I also called them from outside of the location, but to no avail; the customer service rep told me they were not answering the phone, and that she had tried to reach three managers for that location but they also were not available. I told her i had knocked on the door, and the employee there looked at me through the glass wall/door, and said "we're closed" and then walked away. Even though the sign on the door indicated the location closed at 8:15pm. She told me I would have to go back to the location on Saturday, because today, Friday, January 1, 2016 is a holiday and they are closed, and they don't deliver on Saturdays - even though I paid for overnight delivery. So the driver can arbitrarily decide not to leave package that did not require a signature, in a secure location - and the employees at the Calhoun location can arbitrarily decide to close the location early, without telling corporate HQ - because each of the customer service reps with whom I had spoken told me they had spoken directly with the location and had been told to tell me to pick up the package at 8pm - and that the location closed at 8:15pm. This is the craziest thing i have ever encountered, and I will make this public in every venue available to me. read more

i wish icould give a negative stars rating or even zero stars. absolutely the worst service, customer support, and general knowledge i've ever witnessed in my entire life....how they are still in business is beyond me!!!! so my cell phone breaks, i order a new one through my insurance and pay the extra $20 for overnight shipping, i continually track my package from my computer bc i need my phone for work and it says expect it before noon (the morning after i ordered it) so i sit by my computer which is situated by my front door from 8 am until 11 am, when i check the tracking to see how close it is and it says "no one home"!!!???! not only do i have a dog but i was waiting by my door for 2 hours prior to their "attempted delivery", i check my door and find a slip saying no one home & signature needed & will try again monday. i call fedex and they send the driver a request to come back with my package then they call me and say he or a special delivery guy will bring it by 4pm since apparently "i can't come get it myself bc sprint would need to authorize that"....4pm comes and goes and i call fedex back only to have them state that no notes of any request to return my package were made and that i could have actually gone to their office here and got it myself but too late now as they are closing at 5pm, then i demand a refund bc they all suck at their jobs and ask to speak with a manager to file a complaint on all 4 employees (driver and the 3 customer support techs) bc they all suck at their jobs or don't know how to do their jobs or are just lazy bums like the driver, i demand my refund from him and he denies it to me until i receive my package, (which i think is just him trying to not give me my refund as some are only good for 72 hours from time of order) so i record him and ask him to repeat that along with his name and the date and time and my package reference id number (bc im being my refund one way or another!!!)... so now, i work monday and most likely won't get my phone until saturday....and that's if...if the lazy driver even comes back or knocks or does anything he was supposed to do today!!! never use fedex ever!!!! i'll go to anywhere else like ups or even the crap usps before ever relying on the worst company i've ever encountered!!!! fedex equals garbage!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! boycott fedex!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! read more
