When you walk in the staff and the fun learning environment is so warm and inviting. I felt a warm heartfelt Aloha, considering how busy the staff were. I love the whole staff that work there and service the community in different capacities. Imua has a wonderful inclusion program second to none. The teachers and staff are their to service my littles, and other students and clients, with Aloha, compassion, kindness, and love. My child is always looking forward to go to school. My wife is very happy, this was her first choice for preschool. It is something that we absolutely agree that Imua preschool is the best on the island and it is not your ordinary preschool, and is a perfect fit for our child.

My most recent purchase there was a floor lamp with ceramic pole. I had to replace the lamp socket on it but still a good deal. That's probably why it was donated. Anyway, they usually have a good assortment of light fixtures, tables, chairs and small appliances. The sort of stuff that people upgrade from time to time. They also are a good source of building materials that are left over from jobs the contractors finish. It's hit or miss whether you find the type or quantity of materials you need, but it's still a good place to check if you're about to start a project. We were there recently, to drop off a couple boxes of floor tile and some used copper tubing. I hope someone can use it. There's a small parking lot beside the building. Be really careful there because you might not have much time to react when someone backs out without looking. I had to use my horn, first time in years!

Her genuine love for children and personable nature put us completely at ease. Paulette arrived well-prepared with fun, age-appropriate toys, and our little one bonded with her almost instantly. The second time this happened, a year and many sits later, I had gotten the time wrong because it was changed, and when the family complained, the owner demanded I pay her the money I earned from the sit...Once I paid her, she and her husband ghosted me...They had hired me as an independent contractor, and therefore I was also ineligible for unemployment...And so I have been struggling to pay my rent since... I spent several years working for them and made them a lot of money, and at the end, I was just ghosted...And I am not the first nanny who has been hurt this way...I've also heard accounts from others, which is why I've decided to speak out against them...

He really is a great guy, talented looking out for Maui's wildlife. He sells educational coloring books, croc decorations, magnets, Christmas ornaments, pins, temporary tattoos, T shirts, stickers all designed by him so you get a one off product. We bought the T's as they are bamboo and sooooo soft, with a fantastic design by Che. We also loved the coloring books which include cultural and scientific info on each bird/animal/plant, great for gifts instead of the usual "I did Hana" schmalz. Go, take a look at his creative art, buy something made by a local, on island, which will give back to the wildlife community. Waaaay better than the imported from Taiwan chat at a lot of the other stores ;)

My childhood home was the location of my personal mission, season one, episode one. I figured it'd be easier to rent one of those huge dumpsters rather than hauling small loads to the dump ourselves. Jumped on Yelp, researched and made a decision to go with Waste Pro Hawaii. EXPERIENCE: The website wasn't too informative so I called in to a friendly, professional gal. She explained the fees and process accordingly. They offer roll offs in 15, 20 and 30 yard sizes (covered or uncovered), along with tipplers and dumpsters in varying sizes. You're allowed to keep the bin for as long as you like which was the selling point for me and why I chose them over Maui Disposal. While the haul-away fee for Maui Disposal was about $100 less, they force you to haul away the bin every 14 days or pay a fee. Forget that! We decided on an uncovered 30-yard roll off which ended up being the perfect size in the end. I called in to order it and they were able to deliver on the same day which was perfect as I had to personally hand over a down payment ($450 and change for the dumpster, deliver fee and tax) to the truck driver. The roll was huge and thought no way we'd fill it up but we did. It's shaped like a "U" with a huge swinging door on one end. I was concerned that there were no holes on the bottom for water drainage but even with the significant amount of rain we had it never ponded. We got rid of several cabinets, mattresses, bed frames, entertainment centers, junk and clutter! After about a month we called for the haul away in which they came the next day. A final bill was sent a few days later after our load was weighed. Here's the breakdown of our charges: $370.00 for the 30-yard roll off $62.50 delivery charge $114/ton Maui County landfill fee ($169.86 for 1.49 tons of our waste) $627.45 grand total OVERALL: Well worth the money. Why burden yourself with renting a U-Haul, making multiple trips to the dump with sweat equity and paying by the mileage?
