Our 5 yr old dog was pulling me during walks, was very excitable when we had people over, would not stay out of the kitchen & pestered company for food as we ate. Amazingly, all of these issues were addressed & Tuck is simply much more pleasant to take walks with, have others into our home & I can even cook in peace. Tuck is very responsive to the commands that Justin taught him. Justin's communication skills are great. He sends "pupdates" often when your dog is being trained, spends a good deal of time with the Owner when we picked him up & has followed up with us to see how things are going. 6/4/22- Here's my review of Artisan Dog Training (Adam)…read more Adam spent 2-months on my Dutch Shepherd correcting problem areas & teaching good obedience.  Initially I wanted to focus on this and that for Cassie, but I was going about it the wrong way. Initially during a few 1-hr sessions, I saw Adam's mastery in action almost instantly.  I realized that  weekly 1-hr classes weren't cutting it, and that month-long bootcamps were MUCH better for my hyper Dutch Shepherd. She was hyper, wouldn't listen, had obedience issues, beginning to be destructive, and VERY unsocialized (frightened of people!).  Not good for a Dutch Shepherd puppy of 3-months!! During the 2-month bootcamp, Adam first established a framework to FOCUS my dog's attention by establishing trust & communication which doesn't happen overnight.  This takes time, but KEY to garner my dog's obedience. Once done, Adam was able to unlock my dog's potential & focus on obedience training for her to be a good citizen. These are the things Adam worked on with Cassie: - Corrected bad behavior (jumping, biting/nipping) - Basic Commands (come, heel, down, wait...etc) - On/off leash activities (verbal/non-verbal commands) - MAJOR work on socialization (people, dogs) My lack of understanding how to socialize my puppy had drastic effects on her.  She would cower behind me or pull away strongly when meeting strangers.  Fixing this took more than just going to PetSmart for socialization.  She needed to focus first, understand that strangers were normal.  Again, Adam worked pretty hard on this. Result: My hyper Dutch Shepherd was much more manageable, no longer jumped on me or would bite thinking it was play.  She also learned how to potty on command & her socialization improved GREATLY compared to before!  Now I have to do "my part" to reinforce this training & make this permanent.

His online puppy classes is beneficial to our family. Our pup, Newton is healthy, happy and on his way to be a well-behaved dog. I decided to opt for the cremation services through Magnolia when one of my dogs passed away. They…read moreuse a third-party pet funeral company that I forgot the name of but I do remember that they're family owned. If I do remember the name I will update that business but the fact that Magnolia uses them is just wonderful. This is the second time that I've opted to use cremation services through a vet and this second time was a lot better and memorable experience compared to the first pet that I had lost. For around $100 fee, I was able to have my pet cremated and his ashes returned to me. They also sent some keepsakes to remember him by that included some paw prints and nose boops inked on index cards. His ashes were included in a beautiful wooden box. Needless to say I boo-hoo-ed . I felt they just went the extra mile.
