The man started talking really fast and walking away while talking to me. I could tell he was getting frustrated and he was acting really weird. Gentleman who answered couldn't find any appointment under my name. Then insisted I had called some other groomer. Asked for owner twice while talking to this guy. Finally talked to owner who seemed nice enough asked me what kind of dog I had, and was able to find appointment, under someone else's name? I'm like ok we are good to go, I'm a new appointment, no one bothers to tell me about this new procedure for intake of dogs. Arrive 15 minutes early as I didn't know how the traffic would be, The place had cages blocking the doorways with signs on them. I had not brought my distance glasses, couldn't read signs from vehicle and did not want to leave dog in car. Called office, tried to explain situation this same gentleman who answers. He was kinda rude and annoyed I had called. Told me to leave dog in cage and back out of cage and leave. Tried to explain to him that I was new, he said he'd bring out that paper work. He opened he door and stared at me for a minute or two didn't bring out any paper work. I finally got out of my truck and sat down on a chair located outside on porch. He came out again with out paper work and started to order me around like he was some kind of "police officer." He's behavior was absolutely bazaar. I wasn't going to leave my dog until I felt comfortable after this surreal encounter with this organization. Finally this man told me to "hurry up"and put my dog in the kennel, as he had other appointments scheduled. I was still at this point 8 minutes before their official opening time and no one was in the parking lot and he hadn't given me any intake papers. At this point, after this absurd treatment and the lack of customer service skills exhibited by this man, I felt the situation and safely of my dog did not warrant leaving my dog in his care. And I left.

The next day, Marcy from the Shelbyville location, called to confirm AND THEN DELIVERED my dogfood. I assumed it would be delivered by a service such as FedEx but the store does its own deliveries and Miss Marcy braved the cold, minimally plowed roads, in her own vehicle to make my delivery. Also, I was pleased to see that not only do they sell bakery items for your dog but they also have dog food and other items that you wouldn't expect to be sold at a grooming salon. I decided to opt for the cremation services through Magnolia when one of my dogs passed away. They…read moreuse a third-party pet funeral company that I forgot the name of but I do remember that they're family owned. If I do remember the name I will update that business but the fact that Magnolia uses them is just wonderful. This is the second time that I've opted to use cremation services through a vet and this second time was a lot better and memorable experience compared to the first pet that I had lost. For around $100 fee, I was able to have my pet cremated and his ashes returned to me. They also sent some keepsakes to remember him by that included some paw prints and nose boops inked on index cards. His ashes were included in a beautiful wooden box. Needless to say I boo-hoo-ed . I felt they just went the extra mile.

I was visiting Louisville from Atlanta and needed a "fill in" dog groomer. I told the groomer that…read moremy dog needed to be bathed, but not to cut his hair, just trip at the top of his nose and a little around his eyes so he could see well. The groomer shaved his entire face. She cut his ear fur but it was very uneven. My beautiful EXPENSIVE Cavapoo was unrecognizable. Thank god his hair grows fast. Make your dog unrecognizable for $150. Never again.
