Well I decided to stop in after stopping at the smoke shop that used to be next door and in search of some premium dog food for our dog. Boy was I shocked at not only at the selection of quality dog foods they had and prices but the customer service that I received. I can count on my hand the number of times I have stepped into a pet shop and received the kind of customer service I received during my visit at this shop. Customer service is top notch!! An employee helped me select the right food for my dog, even providing me samples to try before I committed to a large bag of dog food that my dog might not otherwise like. They have a surprisingly large selection of foods, treats and other goodies in a very small store front. This small shop gives new meaning to, "good things come in small packages."

Otherwise, they offer many of the same features as the bigger box stores: -rewards points -a great variety of products for all kinds of animals -competitive prices and sales and relevant right now: -curbside pick-up Not as ubiquitous as Petsmart/Petco, I feel like this store has more of a locally-owned feel (looks like at least half of their 400 shops nationwide are individually owned/operated). I'd be a lot happier to shop here if they didn't sell live animals. Just putting that out there. Finally, their staff is exceptionally kind and helpful, much more so than I have historically encountered in the big box stores.

They did a wonderful job with socializing her and starting her off on training. The facility itself is beautiful. It's very clean and well staffed. We were able to spend time with different puppies out in the main area, which gave us the chance to see how they did with other dogs, people, etc. We probably spent two hours there and never felt rushed into making a decision. He isn't a fan of a groomer and I am his uncle and I imagine as some do for their human nephews I took him to get a cut. As you can see from the photo this once swirly, grizzled, disheveled looking yorkie has been upgraded. The rates are comprable to any other groomer but what I like about here is the speed and care given to the Dog. I dropped him off at 10:30am calling day of and by noon on the dot he was done ready for pickup. The Barkery has lots of treats and items so pick something up for your furry friend.
