Darlene and her staff are wonderful. My husband and I consider our pets our children. We hate leaving them, but when they are with Darlene, we know they will receive the best possible care. We really wouldn't trust anyone else with our fur babies. We recently went on vacation and had to board them. The day they were to be dropped off, our vet had called with the results of their routine blood work and it was revealed that our Jack Russell was anemic and needed two different medications, both on different schedules. When we told our vet we were leaving the next day, he asked who they were staying with. When we told him Ruff Haus, he nodded his head and said "I'm okay with that, they know what they're doing." Dr. Jack Unterberger has been our family vet since before I was born. He is also the only one I trust with my babies, and for him to have that kind of confidence in Darlene and the Ruff Haus establishment, really spoke volumes about the professionalism and care they give your family members. This place is fantastic. The staff is very professional and friendly. They really know about animals, understand them, and take good care of your pet. I have a Blue Persian cat, and take him there for regular grooming. He can be a bit difficult and nasty when getting groomed, but they handle him with ease. Darlene works very well with him, and adjusts her schedule to make sure she can be there to handle him. She even gave him a cool Mohawk cut once, at my request She has also given him a great lion cut, which was no easy feat considering he put up quite a fight. The team at Ruff Haus is absolutely amazing! I have a 10-year-old German Shepherd who's always been nervous and stressed during grooming, but the staff here is incredibly responsive to his needs. They take their time, give him as many breaks as he needs, and always make sure he's comfortable. I used to groom my dogs myself, but after bringing him here once, I knew this was the place for us. The results are fabulous every time, and the entire staff is professional, kind, and truly go above and beyond.
